Bad Service. I arrived at 10:55am for an 11am appointment and waited to 11:15 for the hairdresser to finish with her customer and then was told I would have to wait longer as the hairdresser had a 11:15 appointment. I have been going here for several years and have always been happy with Eden's service but she is now gone and the service is now poor.

Nick's Salon is clean, friendly, and consistent. Not bursting with attitude, nor lacking in quality. Thrilled this shop was able to remain open during the Pandemic. Every visit is a treat because Linda does such a good job.

I went there for the first time today to get my undercut done (not knowing that this was a cash only place, and I didnt have any cash on me) they still took me for my haircut and told me that i could come back later to pay so i dont lose my spot in line for the cut. 11/10 would recommend, -great staff, super friendly, super quick and the trust level. Great place!

This is a really good place to get a haircut, I’d argue it’s the best in Victoria. Give them a chance, you won’t be upset. Hairdressers are very friendly and professional, and they actually care about how the hair looks in the end, unlike other places. The price is very reasonable, and for the service that is given, it’s a good deal.

Good quality men's cuts for (as of early '19) $22. Cash only (Bank ATM just around the corner). Personable people, generally quick service even during busy times with multiple barbers on staff. I've come here for about 18 months and have never had a bad cut from 5 different barbers (most of whom are long term employees). Decor is a bit ... basic but you're not there to admire the scenery and you won't wait long enough to care ;) Free WiFi. My go-to barber. Recommended.

I took my 80 year old mother here for a haircut. She was in the chair less than 20 mins. She was charged full price for a Woman's haircut ($30). When I asked about the seniors rate ($21) They claimed the senior rate posted on the website is for men only.... Sad to see seniors treated this way. Not a great cut either. They were very pleasant to her and that was nice.

I will call Nick's Hair salon the Best-Kept -Secret in Victoria. Excellent stylists work really hard to make sure you get the exact haircut you want, and they do this with a fabulous down to earth, cheerful and caring attitude. As if that wasn't enough to get your attention, their prices are fabulous. I got an awesome and very stylish short hair cut and my mother got colouring and styling. Both jobs were fantastic. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed

Haircut during Covid. Shop was clean, Christine wearing mask whole time. I wore a mask during entire haircut. She is a very pleasant, positive, good humoured individual who gives me the best haircut ever - and I’m 74! I enjoy getting a haircut at Nick’s and I’m confident that I’ll get a great haircut and everything to prevent Covid virus has been followed. 5 Stars without a doubt!

Fantastic cut, great chit-chat, very meticulous, and a friendly atmosphere. I would recommend Christine, Nick, or any of the other barbers at this location. My “go-to” cutter. They can do most any style you like, and do it very well. All at a very reasonable price. Strongly recommend.
