I just had a straight razor shave at Blade and Razor Company. It was actually much more than just a shave. It started with a relaxing hot towel and steamer to open the pores. The pre-shave moisturizer was massaged into my face, followed by more stream and hot towels. At that point, I thought the stubble might just fall of my face! The shave was precise and quite relaxing. A cooling towel, after shave, and a facial massage wrapped up the experience. Blade and Razor is much more than just a barber shop. Shery and her team work hard to provide an awesome customer experience. Definitely worth the trip, especially to treat yourself in a personal way. Thanks Shery and Diana!

Without a doubt the most luxurious haircut/barber experience I've ever had. My partner gifted me a haircut and beard detail with Shery and I loved every minute of it! I left totally relaxed for the rest of the day. My hair and beard which hadn't been cut since March 2020 were whipped into shape and I've gotten lots of compliments since. 10/10. Shery is a total wiz with clippers and scissors. She made sure I left looking great and it was obvious how much attention and care she puts into her work. My only qualm is now that I know better I'll be coming back, and it is much pricier here than other places, though it is worth every dime!

And Shery proved to be the best I have ever had among the people who have touched, trimmed or shaved my beard. The place - Blade and Razor - is one of those cosy shops where you can sit, drink your coffee, listen to relaxing music and read your book. Like a high-end lounge. You are welcomed with smiles and and offer for a hot or cold drink. Shery the owner is super kind, yet professional. All staff are. Even their equipment, tools, blades and scissors are high-end and professional. Trust me, it’s the place to go for your hair and beard. Blade and Razors is NOT just a barber shop, it is many steps higher. Be kind to yourself, and at least try it once. You’ll be a returning customer.

When Blade and Razor opened up in the neighbourhood, my wife decided to surprise me with haircut, shave, and facial. I've always wanted a straight shave, and boy, did Shery deliver. From the moment you walk in, you are treated like a king. Numerous hot towels, lotions, shave creams, aftershave, shampoo, conditioner, steam machine...the list goes on. If you want to get pampered while still feeling rugged and masculine, you've got to give this a shot. The shop itself was well decorated - dark mahogany, fancy chairs, and a bar made me feel like I was going to meet The Most Interesting Man in the World at any moment, and the classic rock and roll music was the perfect soundtrack for the experience. The prices were reasonable as well, and the subscription / membership option was very tempting. If I had a beard, I'd get it in a heartbeat. Support local business, and come check these guys out!

Really nice people, but I specifically gave instructions that I wanted the same hair shape and cut ... just trimmed slightly. Ended up with a much shorter, trendy style that I didn't ask for, which I ruffled up as soon as I left. Sorry - you guys were really nice and I feel bad, but I gave instructions right at the start, which in retrospect were ignored.

The haircut was very expensive and not properly done. They did not use scissors at all and only used the machine. As a result the hair cut was very uneven. Worse, they hid the bad haircut with the styling gel so wasn’t able to tell until it was all washed off. Very poor quality for what appeared to be a nice place. My fiancé had an amazing full treatment in this luxury barbershop which is recently opened in Yonge and yonge. OMG!!! It was fabulous service. He was greatly pampered with their professional team. They used hot steamer for the straight razor shaving, which was so relaxing and fulfilling. I think all men are deserved to be pampered in such a luxury barbershop. I have found a GEM!! The staff are professional and welcoming. All Covid precautions were followed. I’m in healthcare and made note of their professional attention to their clients health. I was greeted by Emily, stylist and Shery, owner stylist and made to feel at home quickly. My treatment was done by Sarune. She is meticulous and very professional. She walked me through all the different steps of the treatment. Her hands melted away all the stress in my hands and feet. I will definitely be going back for many spa treatments and haircuts. My son had a great experience today at Blade and Razor. This barber shop just opened last week near Yonge/Melrose. It was my son's first time there and he enjoyed his experience. While me and my son differ in opinions on how his hair should be styled (he is, after all, a young teen), Luis was able to find a happy medium between what we both wanted. Luis really took his time to ensure the cut was done right and that my son was happy. The décor is very masculine yet relaxing, and they carry a nice selection of hair/shaving products for purchase. Friendly staff and we would certainly return.
