I normally only buy easy fish, Betta and goldfish. This week I wanted to get more in a 10 gallon tank. The staff was so understanding when i came back with a bunch of dead fish due to my lack of knowledge in tank cycling. In a week or so I will be back for fish in my cycled tank :)

Great place to shop for pet toys and even check out the animals. They show some pets for adoption thru the humane society as well. They also allow pets in the store, I sometimes bring my cat.

So I do like Pet Valu but there is some improvement that can be done maybe like adding reptile because I've never PetSmart store that we have here so end if you looking for some advice really look forward good times and maybe start getting Dreadful has and those kinds of things because if you are trying to go against PetSmart they don't have them and that's like the only thing that they don't have

Knowledgeable and helpful staff. I purchased my new fur-baby in this store. Hummus the Hamster is now an exciting member of our tiny family. I also go to this store to have my dog's nails trimmed. The groomer is quick, efficient and very good with my dog. Made my dog very comfortable while grooming.

The lady here who does grooming (forgot to ask name) does a very good job. She gave my dog a very nice haircut earlier in the year (80lbs Labradoodle) that I was very happy with and today got his nails clipped and fur trimmed between his feet. His feet didn't freeze and were so much easier to deal with after our walk. Does a great job at an affordable price and my dog is very comfortable with her. Definitely recommend!

I stopped shopping here because the store won't let me in without a mask. I am not complying with their rules because I have an exemption. Pet Smart is a much better store to shop at and they appreciate my business. So, bye bye Pet Valu. Go screw yourself.

What can I say always a good time here well stocked on supplies that I use . Staff extremely helpful and friendly. My dogs love this place when I'm stopped at the traffic lights on Algonquin my youngest dog gets so excited cause she knows we a going to her store
