As soon as I walked into New Horizons Salon I felt comfortable and relaxed. My personal stylist was Cassandra and I highly recommend her! She took the time to look at what she was dealing with and asked me how I felt and what I liked. I am beyond pleased with my visit.

I was just feeling low and I needed a trim of the Haybale on my head and a nice deep condition. New horizons took me immediately and.... well, sometimes that causes me to be a little bit apprehensive about why they’re not busy, I had no reason to fear here. The ladies were all very nice and my hairstylist was careful and inquisitive. She asked me the standard questions about my hair and how I like it parted and if the water was warm or too cold... and other questions that I have never been asked before. I really appreciated the care she took with my hair since I’m getting older and my tresses don’t look as young and fabulously wild anymore. I felt like she genuinely cared that I had a good experience and was happy with the finished product. She was gentle with my fragile, fracturing follicles, the room is nice it’s cozy, as I said the ladies are very friendly and the conversation is light and interesting. I love how that lots of natural light came in through the many windows. The price was extremely reasonable and I sensed no snobbery at all! The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because I asked for a Hair strengthening or keratin treatment But they had no such thing other than a three hour treatment which I don’t know that my hair could handle. I did get a nice deep condition though. Otherwise this place is top-notch, very classy and thank you so much for helping me do a little Self Care!
