Had a great experience at Proper Hare Barbers. First time visiting as I was attending a wedding in Niagara Falls but I was treated like a regular. Will definitely visit again if I'm back in the area. Also, you have to try their styling pomade, made in house, fantastic product!

I moved to the Niagara area a year ago and had to find a new Barber Shop to call home. I must say, Proper Hare is a true barber shop. They even perform straight-edge face shaving (Classic Shave). Brandon makes sure my cut is always perfect. The prices are very reasonable and most importantly both Brandon and Ryan take great pride in their work. I highly recommend Proper Hare to family and friends. Keep up the excellent work gentlemen!

Went to get a haircut after reading all the reviews and they are really great at what they do. You can literally just go there and sit on the barber chair for 45 minutes with your eyes closed and when you open your eyes you will have the best haircut you could have. Great job.

Proper Hare is a True Gents Barbershop experience. I've been going to Brandon originally and now Ryan for over a year and no plans to ever leave. The atmosphere is unique with each piece of art/antiques hand picked by owner Brandon. Expect a wide range of conversation topics from deep political discourse to bizarre hypotheticals (presented in a safe, respectful manner of course). The music always adds to the experience-the only downside to this is that Ryan will likely never win Employee of the Month over the iPad. Online booking is fantastic, no waiting in line meaning I can keep my busy Family Practice running smoothly down the street. Great job guys! Time to book my next 0 fade.

If you want a haircut, go to Proper Hare. Whatever style you want the guys (Brandon and Ryan) will set you up. Their clients range in age from very young to old (like me) and older. Conversation is a large part of the ambiance of this little Queen Street shop and you won't be disappointed. Making an appointment is easily done online (which I prefer) and you select the day, time, and barber. It doesn't get any easier than that...so, what are you waiting for?

After spending countless years being disappointed with haircuts in the Niagara Region all the way to the GTA. I've finally found a quality, consistent and reliable barber in Niagara Falls! I can safely say I've found a barber I can trust in a convenient and comfortable location at Proper Hare. Brandon is always trying to push the limits to make each cut better than the last. I've had at least 20 haircuts and I've never been disappointed visiting Brandon. From fresh razor fades, precision with scissors, unreal beard trims and immaculate straight razor skills Brandon is a true artist. Very pleased with the service given. I don't personally go in but when my boyfriend is finished at the shop he always lookes clean and put together. Very satisfied with the quality of work. From what I hear they have great people skills and are very friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a crisp modern haircut they won't break the bank.

There are few places in Niagara which do skin fades with a straight razor, so I decided to check out Proper Hare which is one of the few. Let me start with how friendly both Ryan and Brandon were; they always greet new visitors, crack jokes, and have great personalities overall. The cut itself was top notch and one of the best (if not the best) fades I've ever got. Well blended, no additional steps without your authorization, and done exactly how you'd like it! Ryan has cut my hair both times I've been there and I couldn't be a happier customer. The shop itself is classy and always very clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Proper Hare to anyone looking for the cleanest fade and great customer service!

I was in the area for work and needed a last minute appointment. Ryan squeezed me in, and they even helped me find the place, as goole maps has them pinned in a parking lot. The shop was cool, with the old school barber feel, but the cuts and atmosphere are nothing old school. I was very impressed with the cut, and even got a little run down to properly style it myself. Great place and I would recommend it anyone in the area looking for a cut. Also they gave me some recommendations on places to visit in Niagara. Thanks boys. It surely was an evening to remember.

I first heard about Proper Hare when Brandon and Ryan donated their time at a homeless shelter in Niagara Falls to provide cuts for people who were staying there. I thought to myself anyone with big hearts like that are getting my business! These guys are amazing. I travel 40 minutes to bring my 4 teenage sons to Proper Hare and won't go anywhere else. My boys have never been disappointed with their styles and are always made to feel welcome and a priority to Brandon and Ryan when they're in their chairs. Above and beyond all of this one of my sons has Autism and has a hard time with hair cuts. Both Brandon and Ryan have shown him the utmost respect and patience when he comes in. I would give them 10 stars if I could:)
