Had a great hair cut experience here. They do haircuts on appointments only. The place itself is so appealing, makes you alive with classic rock and retro relics around the store. The people are all trained professionals, very interactive and friendly. I got my hair done exactly the way I wanted, I was glad to have found this place at once for my first ever hair cut in Canada. Great haircuts, the guys here really know what they are doing. The negative is they are so busy you have to book usually over a week in advance. Additionally you have to book online so it's pretty yes or no, and takes the human out of the equation. Guess that's some of the cons of being successful, but again great shop. Would love to see then expand and have more people/time for phones and earlier bookings.

By far the best barber shop I’ve been to. Won’t go anywhere else. I’ve been to a ton of different barbers in my lifetime and either they didn’t know what they were doing or they charged way too much or they just didn’t know how to keep bookings or run a business professionally. This place is amazing. I have got cuts by both Angelo and the owner Rob. These guys take their cuts seriously. They ask questions and get you exactly what you want. Not to mention, it’s an awesome lookin, old fashion barber shop. If you want a proper haircut and shave, trust me, this is the only place to go ????

I love this place. I normally get a hair cut every few years because of past experiences with horrible results. Plus I just like my long hair, but this is the only place I've ever been too that I actually trust. They are a great bunch of people, the atmosphere there is spot on and they do nothing but the best when it comes to walking out feeling confident about your appearance. Wouldn't recommend anyone but them.

These guys are great at what they do, they do their best to accommodate your schedule-they saw my boyfriend on a Saturday on a walk-in basis. Both my boyfriend and brother live in Alberta and we drove down from Toronto just to get their haircut by these guys and they killed it! Thanks back alley barber shop!!

The Back Alley Barber Shop is probably the coolest place I've ever gotten a shave. It looks like a Rock N Roll Museum inside, and the vibe is relaxed because the barbers, Rob and his crew, really know what they're doing. They take pride in what they do. For one, the atmosphere is cool. The staff was very personable and the lady who cut my hair was hella cute, the asian dude did my beard, and knew exactly what I wanted to do with it by what i told him. Prices were VERY competitive. $31 for haircut and beard as opposed to 45 at my other place I go to. Good parking as well.

Some say that his straight razor was forged in a volcano from Hanzo steel and he studied the art of the blade from Samurai warriors. His haircuts will get you laid and a promotion.

I got an excellent hair cut but it was the barber shop at the front of the Back Alley Barber shop. The cutter was Merilla who has been cutting for over 30 years. She is one of two cutters, the other being an older man. Actually I went there looking for the Back Alley Barbershop and didn't realize there were 2 shops in the same building. I lucked out in stopping at the front shop. Haircut was only $18!
