Myles didn't ask me what length I wanted my hair, cut off about 3+ inches, fluffed up my hair and sent me on my way. Tipped to feel nice but got home and pulled my hair to the front to find out my hair was uneven on both sides & that it was too blunt which i asked for him to fix before he sent me on my way so ...(i fixed it myself at home) he also proceeded to tell me how my last stylist was horrible at my V cut (and I loved her, would appreciate no comments about it thanks) and he didn't give me enough short layers before rushing me out and starting on another person, will not be comming back.

What the Plush

Well this is the 3rd time I have had my hair cut and coloured by Myles. This is definitely my new hair salon. I’m very picky with staff and ambience. Well they have it all. Myles is AAAAMAZING!!! So knowledgeable, super friendly and a master of his craft. I’m so happy with my hair ❤️❤️ Leona is super friendly and a wonderful hair technician as well. Booked both my boys in for cuts and I’ll be going back for a pedicure next week. I sincerely encourage anyone and everyone looking for that new place for all your beauty needs to pop in n see for yourself. Love the staff, the products and the salon has that comfortable come in and stay a while vibe. Go in you won’t be disappointed.

Today I had my acrylic nails done, followed next with a massage, and finished with a pedicure. Desiree is very professional and extremely skilled at all of the services offered by her. WORST hair salon experience ever. Less than 1 star at best. Went in for a simple haircut and color and spent a total of 12 hours over a two day period for the worst haircut ever. And to top it off was charged $300. Finally 9 months later I have been able to get my hair trimmed enough to make it at least look even. Felt completely abused. Salon was busy and down a staff member so I agreed to have my hair done between customers. 9 hours later....horrible. Didn’t look any different than when I went in. Let the stylist know how unhappy I was and was told I could come back the next day. So another 3 hours later and the color was only a tad better but completely uneven cut. Will never go back and would definitely not recommend. In reply... In my review I did not say I was there for 12 hours in one day. I said over two days correct? As for a record of my visit I’m not sure how to help you with that as I did book it through Facebook messenger. My name must be there. Nov 1.

The actual nail trim was OK. Their WiFi sign in is actually a Customer Profile, too long and complicated. Their COVID questions are " over the top" . I have answered and completed many over the last year and this was the longest and most complicated. Totally unnecessarily. I will not be back.

This was my first visit to Port Place Hair Spa. Miles did my hair, and I must say, I was so impressed. Not only did he do a phenomenonal hairstyle for me, but he took the time to teach me how and what to do to really look after my hair. I visited Port Place Hair Spa today for a massage, facial and pedicure with Desiree. I felt welcome the moment I walked in, a feeling not experienced in my previous location, and it only got better from there. The massage was incredibly relaxing, the hot stones are just amazing! Combine that with the skilled hands of this lady, and you will just melt! The facial was wonderful, there is nothing this lady cannot do! I highly recommend Port Place Hair Spa, and ask for Desiree...I followed her from her previous location!

Myles totally saved my hair! I tried to bleach my roots at home and ended up with orange roots and the rest was yellow, it was really bad. I'm so thankful they were able to get me in right away because I couldn't go to work like that! I received amazing service and left happy with a cute new hair style and this beautiful violet blonde colour :) Myles will definitely be my new go to for all my hair needs <3 10/10 would recommend

The lady who did my hair was very sweet. Hair turned out like I wanted. I’m only knocking a star off because the salon was understaffed, and she had to keep leaving me to tend to the phone or a walk in customer.

Took my daughter for grad photos her hair needed help. Very hard to get my teenager to be comfortable in public . Miles was great. Informative. Seemed to adjust to our personality quickly which made an hour and half go easily. Spent more then I can afford however we will be back because of him. I felt considering covid staffing issues they handled all the customers well while I was in there. Happy to support this local business again!
