Honest review here, arrived at 9:45am on a weekday and 6 guys are waiting outside the store. This is 15 mins before opening on a week day. I put my name down on their sign up sheet to be served (first come, first served vs. taking appointments), 2 hours later I am still waiting with 2 guys still ahead of me. There is the main barber and one other lady and both are taking 45mins to 1hour to do each persons haircut. I ended up leaving because at this rate I would have been made to wait another 2hours to get a haircut, I don’t even wait that long to board a plane at the airport. I have never in my life had to wait this long at a barber for a haircut (men’s haircut not women’s haircut - and that’s pushing it even for a woman’s haircut). Wes is a very good barber but is very slow and making your customers wait that long is absolutely unacceptable. I suggest you offer appointments to avoid losing loyal customers as I’m sure I’m not the only one frustrated with having to sign up and wait 2-3hrs for a simple men’s haircut! That’s just ridiculous. I rather drive 25mins to Kitchener instead of having to waste the amount of time I would have waiting at this barber. He’s very good but won’t be going back.

Did a good job with my fiancé’s hair, but was awful with my son. I let him know prior to hair cut that he had a disability, and was lectured about him not needing an iPad. My son has never had issues with hair cuts before. He also said multiple times “if he doesn’t want to be in my chair I don’t want him here” and “if he moves I’ll cut his ear off”... I would say it isn’t a great place for children. I had to pay to take him somewhere else cause the cut wasn’t great. I personally felt he had decided he didn’t want to bother with my son before he was even in the chair. Wasn’t what I had hoped for. Unfortunate.

This happned a while ago but my friends were talking about it and now Im worked up! Ive never been to a barber ever and I went here once about a year ago first called to book an appointment and was told to book online not over the phone so that what I did. My appointment was for 3pm so I showed up around 2:50 but there was a sign on the door saying "closed for holiday event" so I left. Around 3:15 I received a text asking if I was coming in for my appointment I told him about the sign on the door and he said he was taking his daughter somewhere so I said I could come back and he told me there was no time. I should have went to C&D lanes.

Great barbershop, the range of people there was from 5 to 65, and everybody I saw leave looked fantastic. Cooper did a great job when he got to me. Saturday was busy, but it sounds like their evening hours through some of the week has less of a wait. Look forward to visiting again.

The staff at Prime Woodstock all produce great haircuts. Wes always posts updates on Instagram and you can book either by phone or via booksy. The atmosphere is great, no complaints. I have been going to Prime for over one year now and I always return to get my fade. If you are in the area or are willing to drive go to Prime they do a great job.

Came in for a cut and was not very impressed. Asked for a fade and my sides and back looked like the bottom of it was buzzed and the top closest to the top of my head had nothing done to it. Asked for there to be no hair bleeding from the top onto either side of my head and there was lots bleeding over. The lady that cut my hair tried to disguise the extra hair by combing it up on the top of my head. I am regular at another shop and decided I should check this place out from its high praise from my friends, but most likely I will not be returning.

Went to the shop for a hair cut by Wes which is why I go to Prime and was greeted by a different barber and politely requested to have Wes, which again is why I went there. The haircut was perfect like usual but I did not appreciate being treated so rudely and made to feel like I was a bother just because I requested him. If I wanted a different barber I would have gone somewhere else, I will not be going back because of this treatment.

I Come here all the time for my fade and style. Let me tell you. Anyone that knows me, knows I love my hair and if you love your hair like I love my hair, then you probably already know about this place and if you dont! Then your out of luck. I've had my hair cut with all 3 barbers and I can honestly say that they all cut very well. Ever since I came to this town, these guys and gal treated good. I felt right at home. I've been to many barbers and I wouldn't bother doing to any other place then this one. If you want a quality cut and looking like a true gentleman then come and get a cut with Wes, Coopa, or Lauren. There is only one word to describe this place: WOW As a Manitoba resident who is passing over I was a bit hesitant to get my hair cut. But this was my experience. They were extremely nice from the moment I walked in and made me feel at home. The place had a beautiful atmosphere to it and there there was never a second of uncomfortableness from them. Cooper who was my hairdresser did an amazing job, most possibly the best haircut I have EVER gotten. Even though I didn’t give them a good description of what I wanted they treated me well and did an amazing job. Definitely will be returning 10/10

They are a busy independent barber shop which is why I go there. Make an appointment if you have to look sharp for an occasion because they are pretty busy. Excellent haircut, very friendly staff, good atmosphere. I've had my hair cut by Cooper and Wes, and each have their own unique way of cutting, but both always achieve great results. Have to try Lauren next. Can be busy if you walk in, but that shouldn't be taken as a negative. Use the booksy app for an appointment if you don't wish to wait. Appointments are with Wes only, and in my experience he is very punctual.

First timer tonight, left after waiting for 2 hours. Owner seems like a nice guy however was pretty disappointed with my experience. He does not take appointments however will let people come in during the day and reserve a time for later, is that not the same as an appointment? It would have been nice if he mentioned I would be sitting for 2 + hours. I would have came back. Also, I'd recommend not being judgemental towards particular haircuts - I was going to ask for that haircut, way to make people feel uncomfortable and not wanted. I was excited to have a barber in town however I will continue to go elsewhere.
