The worst thing about this place is the girl at the front desk simply because they never keep track of anything or appointments. Honestly my favourite barber left here and went down to Rani’s Barber Shop and from now on ill be taking my buisness down there. Rani’s Barber Shop, 525 Mohawk Rd E, Hamilton. Ask for Romeel! This place is the spot to go to get a fresh hair cut. Always get a 10/10 hair cut, just ask for Safaa and he will get you lined up! The only reason for the 4 star is because the price of a cut is pretty high, but totally worth every penny. Amazing staff and always friendly!

Amazing first experience. Went in and simply asked for a fade on the sides with the top of my head a little longer. Was scheduled with Andy and he EASILY gave me one of, if not the best fade I've had in a long long time. He was also very nice to chat with. Definitely coming back next time!

Made a 7pm appointment this evening. Showed up at 6:50, thinking early might help a little. Was told to sit at the back of the store with some other customers. The store was very busy, so I kept my attention on my phone. By 7:25 I was alone at the back and realized walk-ins were getting cuts as soon as they approached the desk. Receptionist forgot about me for over half an hour. Good cut, but not a great experience. Will return, hopefully next time will be better.

The woman cutting my hair didn't listen to what I requested as she was too busy ignoring my existence and talking to her co-worker the entire time. I asked for a simple cut (shaved sides, scissored top, and blended together) and received the worst haircut I've gotten in the last 10 years.

When I walked in and asked for a haircut, the person at the desk turned around to the barber and notified him. The barber then said "why do I have to do it" as he played on his phone and pointed at another barber. He did not listen to the haircut I wanted, and proceeded to tell me how it would be cut. I asked for a fade and he did #1 all around. After asking me numerous times what barber I normally went to, he began explaining how they cut my hair wrong and always do it incorrectly. After realizing HE cut my hair incorrectly he spent the next 10 minutes attempting to fix it. I usually just comb my hair to the right, but he cut some sort of faux hawk wave into the side of my head - that was only very short on one side and very long on the other. I received a horrible haircut and I will never go back, judging by the other reviews this is quite common here.

I went for a haircut and a beard trim. Paid 35 dollars and a 5 dollar Tim only to go home and realize the barber forgot to cut one half of my hair. I pay 13 dollars on main St and get a much better hair cut. Sometimes you don't get what you pay for.

I can't stand reading reviews that say "I've been here 5 times" or "I've showed them a picture X times" and I've never get what I like. It hurts my brain! Not every establishment is going to please everyone, but if you don't have a good experience.... don't keep going back multiple times expecting different results idiots!!! I have gone to this barbar many times over the years and have never had an issue with rude staff (maybe staff being rude to each other)... and I've only had one hair cut that I was meh about. Great staff. Fantastic cuts! I don't normally leave 5 star reviews, but I feel I have to to balance out these morons who keep putting their finger in the light socket after being shocked.

Barbers at this shop must be taking the birdbox challenge... How do you miss align the ears by over 1 cm, the temple angles and alignment again, don't even know what to say about getting a line... Be prepared to get it near the centre of your head. Lastly the razor clean shave was amateur at best, as if it was his first time holding the damn thing, honestly can get better results with a cheap 3 blade razor and when you ask to fix any of the above mistakes, you get "the mirror isn't right man". These whack dudes trying to cut you blindfolded legit Birdbox meme worthy... Do not waste your time or money dozens of other better and not to mention cheaper barbers out there... And to those who think i may be exaggerating, I've had a miss hap with my cut on my wedding day and it still wasnt as bad as a visit to this shop, Cheers!

Came here and got fixed up by Amir before my vacation. This was after a horrid customer service experience at a salon on King St. Amir right off the bat was super friendly, patient and personable. He had clients waiting for him while I was in his chair, always a good sign when people are lining up for a service! He was professional, detail oriented and so sweet throughout the entire haircut. I’ve usually only had my undercut taken care of by women and Amir was the first man to cut my hair. He really did a fantastic job with the lines, used products I’ve never had used on me before. He was so thorough and it was well executed! I can’t say anything went wrong with him. I will definitely be returning ❤️

This is one of the best places to get your haircut. They are one of the few places in Hamilton that know how to cut a fade. Khaled and Safaa are 2 of the best guys around. A little more expensive than say a "Haircrafters" but 100% worth the money if you care what your haircut looks like. Their attention to detail is impeccable. I would send anyone of my family or friends there. A must try!!

Set an appointment for 12:30. Came in, and they had forgotten about my appointment (because they didnt schdule it, even though I called in an hour before). So i was sat at the back for 10minutes, while a barber was facetiming his friend infont if me, and when I asked if he could cut my hair, he ignored me. THEN some walk in comes in, and he takes them right away, as do the other 3 barbers. So i wait 20more minutes (im pist at this point) and the lady at the front comes to me and says "if you want your haircut, you're gonna have to wait 10 minutes" EVEN THOUGH I SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. Good Cuts, Horrible Service. They have very talented barbers, and I enjoy the place, but this has happened to me the last 5 times i've been in here, and not just for myself

That guy was keep talking talking like some street vendor. And for the clean up and shaping they charged $35 with tax, it just ripping my pocket. So guys please find some another place.

I've been coming here for a number of years now. I also bring my three sons. When we come in we book an appointment with Sue. I've seen Sue since I started coming here. We used to go to the traditional barbershop, but the wait was ridiculous, particularly if it was all four of us. This place makes appointments. When we are done we are all clean cut handsome men! Not the cheapest place ($48 for one son and myself, taxes in no tip) but it is comfortable and we like it here.

Man I cannot believe the haircut I just got here. I asked for a bald fade and a trim on top. First off he gave me a number 1 “fade”, and it’s not even a fade, all of my hair is just about the exact same length, it is uneven with a patchy appearance, and you can see a clear line on the back of my head from where he didn’t blend the 2 lengths (and i’ve been told by barbers that my hair is great for a fade because of how thick it is). I am straight up embarrassed I have to go to the office like this tomorrow. He also completely ranked of body odour and i could tell his scissors were dull. This is the first review I have left in my entire life, but I felt compelled to leave one in this circumstance. You’re better off going to a super cuts honestly lol.

Horrible customer service, Sara was rude from the moment my boyfriend sat down. Butchered his hair, when we went back to complain and recieve a refund we were treated with complete disrespect. Manager was rude as can be and basically ignored our complaint. Do not go here and be served by sarah unless you want your head brutalized. Horrible excuse for management. They called security for no reason and did not even try to apologize and gave nothing but attitude. Sara left 2 very noticeable lines on the back of his head and tried to say she didn't see any issue. Don't get me wrong the guys there do a great job but the ladies don't seem to know what their talking about. Completely ridiculous experience. Only giving 1 star cause there's no option for 0 stars.

Worst experience. Although our appointment was at 10 am, we had to wait for most of the barbers to finish their smoke break to start. Then the barber refused to cut my toddlers hair because he started to cry because he didn't want to wear the cape. He just said "no" and stood there until we got up and left. Went there today and got a cut from a younger guy named Mazen. Told him I wanted a fade starting with #1, and a trim on the top; he looked at me in shock asking me if I'm sure, as #1 is really short. I told him to just go ahead with, since this is my usual cut. This jerk didn't give me a fade. Instead gave me a very high comb over, on the one side and an uneven cut on the other side. One of the sloppiest hair cuts I've received so far. The only reason I'm giving it a 2 and not a 1 star is because I've gonna here several times and majority of the time the cut is decent to really good. Many of the guys there know what they are doing, or they take the time to give you what your looking for. This kid didn't listen, or he didn't know what he was doing, or he simply didn't care, and is just looking to make his money by shear volume of cuts. He spent more time on my beard than he did on my head. My har is so messed up that the only way to fix it is to shave it all down to a #2, because the #1 fade is so high up.

I am very pleased to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE my haircut. I was just walking by and thought it would be really nice if they could cut my hair. So I asked the lovely young lady if its possible and can I make an appointment... I was told not only that they can do it but a chair became available and if I waited for them to sanitize the chair I can have my hair cut now... someone by the name of John was my barber.. what I liked about this guy is that he listened to what I wanted and did exactly that... you know that feel good moment when you get what you want ... but to a higher standard??? That was my experience.. I have been wanting to find someone who respect what I want ... thank you John so much.. this morning I shampoo and condition my hair and I look so pretty... I would definitely recommend this Barbershop and it's my new favorite place.. YEAAA MEEE!!!!

This rating applies only to getting shaved, as I have never had my hair cut here. I had a woman do it, and she simply didn't understand how to make a shave enjoyable. She cut me in 3 places, probably because she painted on the watery soap with a cold brush instead of lathering it with hot water. This cold water completely reversed the effects of the hot towel and made my skin less supple and more prone to have hair pulled. She also did only one pass, which left me with stubble in some places. Two friends of mine also went and had similarly unpleasant experiences. This was an expensive, failed experiment I would not recommend to anyone, even if they were giving out shaves for free at this barber shop.
