Thid place is great. I've been there 3 different times with 3 different barbers, and each time was excellent. These guys give great fades and know different hair types. I have extremely thick and curly hair, so they always cut and thin it out accordingly so I can actually manage my hair. A little bit pricey, but so worth it. I highly recommend them.

Honestly I have to say that after having a straight razor shave (-Full head-) at multiple other “reputable” barbers in MONTREAL and a lineup and moustache cut and have them all do a very bad job., Well BELGARD BARBERSHOP are beyond words to explain their professionalism and customer experience. If you have a beard or moustache that you think you need a professional and seek that overall care to pamper yourself then seek no further. Wow on every aspect. Really have no idea why this place has such good ratings. Just got my hair cut here today 2019/09/28, and there was a lot left to be desired. My primary issues were 1) The guy was not a hair stylist, he was a mechanic for 9 years and had been cutting hair for two months. 2) Washed hair and didn't condition. 3) Surprised washed my face without asking, my skin is as dry as the Sahara. 4) My hair is not what I asked for, I even showed a picture and a video and tried to guide several times. He didn't listen, did what he wanted and rushed through the cutting process. He used a buzzer mostly, did it very fast so he could flip the chair and get a new customer. The shop gets one star above minimum because I liked the music and decor

This was one of the best and simplest barbershop experiences that I have ever had hands down. Great atmosphere and decor, great cuts, and great prices for their services; they are what barbershops should strive to be as standard practice. Rami was the name of my barber, and I highly recommend him; he was very skilled, efficient, and made sure to do a check up every once in awhile to make sure that you are happy with how the cut is going. There was complementary coffee and water, and also beard services which I didn't get to utilize. I had the opportunity to chat with the management after the cut to ask some questions, and I was floored with how well they maintain their practice and quality; can you believe they have only being open for 6 months? If you are a local or someone stopping by in town and need a cut, I would suggest pampering yourself here with what they have to offer. $30 for a cut you won't regret and an experience to boot. To management, I will come back as best I can, but if you could somehow make it to Toronto one day I would be so happy. Thanks for the great experience and conversation.

It's not a cheap place to get a haircut...but that's not the only reason you go to Belgard for though. With an excellent greeting on arrival, you can have a nice drink while waiting. The cut itself is meticulous, and finished with a wash and a warm cloth to relax. They also sell hair and beard products. I suggest looking into their website for more services such as manicures and more.

One of the top five, maybe top three but I don't want to exaggerate, haircuts of my life and the service was great, the facility was clean, organized and stylish. I am so saddened that this will be my first and last cut here as I'm vacationing and not a local. But I'm going to try get a shave tomorrow just because my experience has been so terrific. My barber was Rami and I highly recommend him. To the locals or those visiting, spoil yourself even if just once. I don't know what the prices are comparative to other Canadian locations, I'm assuming it's on the dear side certainly is compared to US but it's definitely a place I highly recommend. Cut, wash, blowout then style with product, 30$ plus tax, (plus tip).

So my sister and I passed by this place on our way to Garde Manger. The place looked so nice and there were only 3 male barbers in at the time. We did a walk-in and I'm not one to rate a barbershop highly because of the atmosphere or the conversation...rather I judge it on the skill and service. I got my hair cut by a goodlooking heavy set dude with a beard. This guy gave me one of the best fades I've had. He also took the time to do exactly what I asked for with minimal filler conversations in between. He was there to give you amazing haircut not therapy. I had my hair cut, faded, washed, style for $30 (tax not included). I pay $50+ in Toronto only for the barber to do my hair in a rush and I leave with hair all over my face. To the gentleman that cut my hair, thank you for the amazing cut and service! I am contemplating coming to Montreal from Toronto just to get that same cut!

I wish I could give them 10 stars. As a walk-in on Saturday afternoon I was seen immediately, served a sparkling water, and recieved an amazing cut. Tea-tree scented hot towel was a nice touch! My barber listened to my chith-cat and observed that I was flying that afternoon and made sure to wash my hair again after the cut so I didn't have any itchy bits of hair bugging me on my flight. I would have gladly paid double what they charged me. Best cut and customer service I've had in ages!
