Jessica's rocking it as usual!
Decent haircut but not cheap.
Great staff! Comfortable location and quality product.
Headshoppe is consistent in providing high quality services for mid-range prices.
I just got back from my first appointment with Danielle and it won't be my last!! I have shortish curly hair and have a hard time finding a stylist who can give me what I want. Danielle was not only able to give me a fantastic hairstyle but she understands hair
Took my sweetheart there for her first time, and her first "trim" since covid, and I'm not sure who served her, but a huge shout out to them....she (my girl)suffers major seasonal depressions, and it took everything i had, to get her out of the house, and if i said she came out of there feeling GRRRRREAT! It still wouldn't be a good enough review for these ladies and their character and ethics..thank you soo so much HEAD SHOP. you girls rock! (And guys if there is any in there, covid and all i had to wait in truck, so i do not know) but none the less....great team and very reasonable prices...????tks for that too cause i footed the bill on this trip,.
Great work and service
If you have ambitious curly/ethnic hair, steer completely clear of this place. Go see Lucinda at Hairy Ideas instead. She is amazing. My haircut was royally botched and I only asked for a basic trim (no thinning, layers, bangs, or anything.) The hairdresser cut my hair a good 4" too short, because she didn't listen when she started cutting my wet hair and I said "this looks too short. My hair shrinks when it dries". She also cut it so visibly uneven that I had to go get it fixed up at Hairy Ideas a few days later. It made my hair even shorter, but at least it wasn't crooked. The only decent part with The Head Shoppe is that it wasn't a struggle to be fully reimbursed. However, the email I got in response to my request was not a genuine apology, as they did not take responsibility for the shoddy work .
Excellent service.
Very friendly professional service.
Great service once again. Very happy I started going there.
Carrigan was fantastic, was very careful to detail doing foils, got the colour I wanted
Very professional and everyone was so nice and inviting. Reasonable prices and very helpful staff! Thanks for making my visit great. Will visit again
Good service yet expensive pricing even with the $5 discount
I had a fantastic experience with Leah. She was personable, knowledgeable and skilled. Her service was exceptional. I got a cut and colour with her. I will be returning again for sure. As someone who has not had their hair done in a long time and was nervous going in, I can certainly say that I am now comfortable and confident in my new look. Many thanks.
Expensive.. but relaxing on a chair have a price !
I had a bad experience with some other hairdresser who made my hair look blond yellow and my brown hair look golden orange. I went to headshoppe and 2 wonderful hairdressers ( kelly and Tasha) teamed up and fix everything made me look beautiful. Good service and good energy in there as well. Thank you so much.
Thank you so very much , u do tremendous work on my hair , Kaitlyn we will always come back ❤❤❤
The service is always amazing and appointments are easily booked!!
This was a great experience. I don't get my hair cut often but I will now for sure. Went in and saw Tasha and she was awesome. She did exactly what I asked for and really took care in what she does, really seemed to be a personal experience. Very easy to book and covid procedures put in place are great. Tasha, if you read this I am sorry about tipping so low, I messed up onthe machine, I will tip double next time I'm in :)
First visit today and I am in love with this place... Beautiful, clean, great service and Sue was amazing. Love my hair cut, going back for sure
Great service, friendly staff.
Awesome service❣️ First time going today and I will be back. Thank you girls. Cya in July ????
Kate does an amazing job! She nailed my vision for my hair and I would go back to her in a heart beat!
This is the best place for anything to do hair
Awesome staff ask for Kate she is amazing highly recommended friendly always confirmed if thats what I would like before doing something. 100 percent will go back and make this my regular salon/stylist. Keep up the great work
It was absolutely awful experience. I asked for a ash grey , and they gave me dark brown . Emily was very nice but the work done was terrible. Don’t waste your money
Worst service imaginable. Drove all the way to Moncton from Sackville for an appointment where I booked two services- salon was closed when I arrived. This was AFTER they sent me a reminder text morning of for my appointment. Don't waste your time booking an appointment.
They are very personable.
Last second choice to cut my hair, thankfully I was able to squeeze in with Melissa, who was fantastic! I did a very drastic haircut and she cut little by little to make sure it was as short as I liked it. Great place and I'll be back in for a trim!
I got my hair cut by Kaitlyn and she was great!! I have naturally curly hair and she did a fantastic job handling it and used curly girl method products! She knew exactly how to handle my hair type and was so fun to chat with
Excellent service , friendly, vent over hair wash station needs cleaning badly
They charged me 80 for a tone and a cut and the tone didn't even change my brassy blond to the ash brown that I wanted.
Knowledgeable stylists, very friendly staff all around.
Both of my boys got their hair cut and were very happy with their experience. I had to wait in the waiting area because of Covid, but when they came out I was a bit frustrated with the liberties some of the stylists took. It was too short to my liking and I wish I'd been consulted before they decided to go shorter than what I'd asked. I understand it's tough with the regulations but I wish they'd asked me more questions upfront if they weren't sure. I did show a picture of what I wanted.
I went in there with very long hair. I have been growing it for many years. So many that it was down past my bum. I am a Japanese 5' 7" woman. I had gone in with a photo of what I wanted. A Korean Wave and a cut. The photo was from head shots of hair with a Korean Wave. My appointment was with Sue, who I was told is the Perm Queen when I made the appointment. She said the look was from hot rollers then gave me a rough cut a perm and another cut. Sue used two perm solutions to make sure the curl would take. It took all right. She told me normally you would wait at least 24hrs before you wash your hair, but she told me to wash it as soon as I woke up the next morning. I felt like she wanted me to wash it way sooner than that, but didn't want to freak me out. I looked like a poodle :( She then cut and styled my hair. I had a helmet on my head :(( When I said this and was fiddling with my hair, she tried to fix it. I still had a helmet on my head. Now you have to understand that I have what my doctor says is a social anxiety disorder. So confrontations is something I avoid for fear of an anxiety attack and in public which would make it worse because now people are watching me. So I left. I called later and spoke to the owner, Gina I think her name was. She told me to come in and that a master hair stylist would look at it and let her know. Gina was to be in a meeting all day. So I went in. Spoke to Barb I believe. She was nice, all the people were nice. I walked away feeling like I was told in a very nice polite way that it was my fault for wanting instant gratification and for not knowing how to blow dry hair properly. This having been so many year of not doing anything with my hair. (I'm 50 years old, not an idiot). Being told that in a month I would be happy with my hair and also having been given an appointment for a hair drying lesson for that Friday. I cancelled that appointment. My hair is to short and there is to much curl all over my head for the look I was going for. I come to a professional hair salon for professional advice for a style I am wanting. When being told I'm getting the Perm Queen, I expect that she knows hair and when to perm and when not, or how much to perm, where to put the curlers etc. Not being told I need a hair drying lesson and Sue having HAD a lot of perms in her life qualifies her for being called The Perm Queen. I would think if my hair is to thick for the style I wanted and that a perm is not the way to achieve this look, that the hair stylist would say so and suggest something else. Especially there so called Perm Queen. Not just do what I asked for because who is she to tell me otherwise. She's the professional hair stylist, she does this for a living! It's her job! I would like my money back, but don't believe this will happen. So I will write this and wait for my hair to grow out. Right now I BLOW DRY my hair straight and put in pigtails when I am at work. If you have read this really long comment, Thanks! Kristin Tokawa-Surrett
Lots of wonderful hairdressers and excellent front desk. Nice products and points card too.
Was very pleased with my color and cut. Will definitely return to the same stylist. Thank you Caitlin.
My wife went to get her natural brown bleached to blonde. Over the phone she was quoted that it would cost around $150 which was fine. The day before her appointment she walked in to ask for her brows to be done before her hair, the receptionist reconfirmed everything seeing the length and thickness of her hair but didn't say anything. The day of her appointment, Laura sees her and tells her that the cost will be more around the $300 because of the length and thickness which will require more products and more time to complete. When I confronted her about the doubling of the price Laura tells me that she advised my wife before they started and that she agreed (kind of hard to reschedule last minute somewhere else...right) anyhow Laura stuck to her story and didn't budge on price. Now after sitting 4 hours and wanting a platinum blond my wife comes out with a dirty blond color...so A. Price was doubled B. Took longer than initially told and C. The color was not achieved (not even close) now unfortunately Emily who was the hairdresser gets caught in this but she was great and really has nothing to do in the review....nice, professional and a pleasure to be with. If there's anything to takeaway here is don't go ...it appears that they can put any price they want and then blame the client. See the pictures to see for yourself how off the bleach came out. As an added bonus bet anything that no one will even attempt to make things right. Just don't go here
I made an appointment at this establishment as I was in town for work. When I called the reception was very friendly and accommodating. I arrived for my appointment and I was quickly taken to a seat and met my stylist. She was friendly and seemed very nice. I showed her a picture and we talked about a base colour and partial foils. All was good. After she toned my hair at the sink I went back to her station where she blow dried me. As she was blow drying and styling my hair I was noticing that all of the foils she put in my hair were underneath and when all was said and done you couldn't see any. I had told her I had one length hair in the initial consultation so I assumed she would know that if you only foil underneath it's likely you won't see them. Anyway long story short I told the receptionist when I went to pay I said I shouldn't have to pay for poorly placed foils, my hair looks like an all over colour... she agreed, until the stylist came out and argued with me that I could see them... figure that one out...? Anyway, They made me pay for the foils. I let them know I was a first time client (you would think for new business they would just remove the cost of the foils or at least offer to add a few more to ensure a happy customer... nope.) So, the moral of this story is... avoid this place at all costs... or it will cost you.
Amanda is the best!!
This is my first time at this salon and they are all nice. The salon is clean and neat. I love my haircut. Thanks to Emilie
Go see Tasha, she is the best stylist in greater Moncton and smart as a whip, she knows how to do any style you're looking for and has a ton or ideas, super friendly place, walk in and get a coffee, tablets for the kids, A++
I have always gone to Jessica and she never fails! She is an expert with colour!
My daughter loves her hair ????
Hi!Had my first experience with Sue Beal and Wow!I was treated well from the moment I walked through the doors to the time I lefthink by all staff.I look forward to a stylist/client relationship with Sue for a long time! Thanks Head Shoppe...thanks Sue!
Booked an appointment online for 3pm today only to be told when I arrived that they didn't have me booked in. Said sometimes they don't follow up and see the email with reply therefore the appointments don't get booked. Why offer the online booking if you are not going to follow up? I quit going here a few years ago because of a not so good experience and thought I would try again. Definitely disappointed ???? again! Poor customer service.
UPDATE: **** After contacting the headshoppe and informing them of my disappointment the manager was very quick to offer help. They set me up an appointment the next day with a senior stylist and did exactly what I had asked, no extra charges. They were very kind to me the whole time I was there and apologized many times for me being disappointed with my first colour. I will be returning. They never informed before hand that my request of dying half my hair blue would require 2+ appointments even though I had specified exactly what I wanted done when I made the appointment for the cut and colour. After one appointment I was charged about $150 and received yellow, uneven, and extremely patchy bleached hair and didn’t even receive a hair cut as well as being charged for services I did not request. I was practically rushed out of the chair, being constantly reminded we didn’t have much time left as if it was my fault. Just overall very disappointed as I have enjoyed many great hair cuts here but sadly may not be returning.
Very well managed, hygienic and friendly staff.
Jessica was fabulous. I love all she did and how my hair turned out.
I had the first haircut in over 2 years, and I had it in Moncton, NB, where I can't actually remember the last time I had my hair cut there, since I haven't lived there for 44 years. I had a pleasant experience with my stylist, and I was very happy that she consulted with me about whether I was happy with the length, or if I wanted it shorter. A very positive experience, and I do not enjoy getting my hair cut.
highly recommend
Best for eyebrows
Very helpful person at the Salon, had a good customer experience
