I have been looking an old school feel barber shop through out the city with yet down to earth atmosphere. Today, I went in to give it a try and my experience was amazing. It reminded me a barber shop from a movie in the 70's. People are here are very welcoming, the service is very precise like literally they want to you to make look good before you go. Been there twice, the first time I asked for a trim & provided a picture as well. The guy didn't cut the hair to my reference at all, very little was done. The second time I walked in, I was greeted, but they failed to ask me if I had an appointment or a walk in. I waited close to 30 minutes and they're like "Sorry we aren't doing walk ins today." The guy that had just finished a trim on a customer was about to go on break and couldn't even own up to the mistake of taking me in or recommending to book an appointment for another day. Nothing. Seriously... they couldn't bother to even make small talk with me. It's not like the shop is so big that I'm hard to miss. I was extremely disappointed at the customer service. They provide great haircuts and grooming, but gave a bad impression on me twice because they seemed very niche & uninviting. It was uncomfortable, unless you seemed to be a regular or fit with their "look."

I have brought my partner here for a hot shave on two separate occasions for some pampering. The staff were very friendly, professional and were nice enough to watch over his guide dog while I stepped out. My partner enjoyed the pampering and said he was very relaxed and it said it's something all men need to experience at least once!

These guys went to hair cutting school and it shows! They probably had cool parties after class too. Real nice place to sit for 45 mins. There's also a deer head mounted on the wall if you're into that sort of thing, you sick bastard.

I've been coming to see Walt for years and he always does an excellent job cutting my hair or giving me barberly advice. Over the years, he's always been consistent which is hugely important to me. I've also visited the other gentlemen and they're just as good. If you're looking for a barber to cut weird designs on your head and have your picture on IG, this probably isn't the shop for you, but that's exactly why I keep coming back. As soon as you step into the doors at Waltz on in, it takes you back to the 50-60's era, nostalgic and comfy and feels like home. Even though I only get buzz cuts, Adam J gives great beard trims and does a fantastic job every time I go. Its a fine group of folk who work there.

Had an amazing haircut from Lewis. You really can roll the dice on any of the barbers here. Every one of them will give you a quality haircut and a quality conversation, coming from someone who was growing their hair out for seven years, I really didn't care about styled hair but after getting a few cuts through these guys I'm sold on the total experience of getting your hair cut, supporting local business and learning about these guys lives. Will be returning for cuts probably until I'm dead.

Had my haircut from a different place European Hair Designs. Completely ruined it. Shoutout to ADAM ???? who took me as a walk in for a beard trim unlike another colleague coming to work and wasting time on his phone instead of taking a client.. Great guy! He managed to salvage a decent enough hairstyle out of the mess and then went above and beyond and did an excellent job on the beard trim and lineup. Will definitely return
