I was desperate to have my hair cut. I was pleasantly pleased with the results Tara came up with. She warned me that my hair, being curly, wasn't going to be just like the picture...I knew that. I love the shape and texturizing she gave me. Wash and wear for these hot summer days

Absolutely horrible!! Went for a quick walk in just now. Awful idea. Should have trusted mt instinct. The style and hair of the people working there is usually a HUGE hint as to what you're going to get. I tell the nice lady at the front desk I had a terrible haircut previously that I had to get fixed and now it's finally grown out in length and I need it shaped. I say I'm nervous with getting my hair cut. She says "she IS an experienced hairdresser." So apprehensively I sit down and while waiting called another place to see if I can get in but no spots avail. Today. Sigh. This chick doesn't introduce herself. Btw, I have fairly curly, just past shoulder length (finally)that I've been working hard at growing. She spitzes my hair a little, starts cutting the ends, dry. I'm noticing the angles are super crooked and like, rounded. Then she begins to use these straight scissors midway down my hair to maybe create layers but CHOPS tiny pieces that don't even blend in at all. I start picking at the pieces saying "wow this is WAY too short. Not something like this I only need a trim." Then she says "did you want me to straighten your hair first then cut it?" I've had that before so I say sure. So she grabs the effing blow drier... And starts blow-drying my already DRY hair. Like WHAT are you even doing??! I told her No. Thats it Im done. Told the lady up front the same and that she didn't finish, didn't pay and got the hell out of there. What a terrible experience!

Not impressed. Went here to get a toddler haircut for my little girl. First off, don't offer these types of haircuts if you have no idea how to do them... My daughter hated it (she doesn't mind getting haircuts at other places) & she did NOT like the hairdresser either. She's usually friendly with everyone. Hairdresser acted unprofessional and was unimpressed that my daughter wasn't cheerful. Well hey you know what? If she doesn't like you then there's a reason. Never going back here. I highly suggest going to a different hair salon that knows what they're doing

The staff usually seemed friendly but there was never any reason to go besides the fact that they had one of the cheapest male haircuts in Brandon. Once the price went up it just made sense to go to Magicuts and get your hair washed for free, not have to bother with mall parking, and pay the same price.

Absolutely horrible. The girl took an hour to straighten my hair and cut.. I asked for a trim to remove my split ends and I walked out of there with my hair 2 inches shorter... I’m never going back

I've been coming here for years and it's always been good. Usually I get a different person each time. I get a pretty basic cut and don't get anything else. I went to Tommy guns (in Winnipeg) and it was awful. They left the top of my hair way too long and they cut way to high on the sides. I find this to be a common cut nowadays with Tommy guns and other barbers. They also don't care and you and what you want. Mall barbers is consistent with showing you the chart for blade sizes and they keep the top just the right length. I'll continue to come back here as they do a good job overall for the price. Even if I ask for a change in shortness they listen.

Horrible place to get your haircut, just had one done after every other pace being closed so forced to come here, thought they would’ve gotten better since last time but NOPE, didn’t get what I asked for, left long stings of hair, and couldn’t even line me up right. pay the extra cash to get done somewhere else

I came in the other day and had a bad experience, one of the hairstylist didn’t really show good clientele, she seems to be in a rush, after the colour was done she washed my hair but the wash was not relaxing and there was still products on my hair, and one thing we she was blow drying my she put it in very high heat which is bad for the hair and while she blow dry my hair it burns my neck and my scalp but she didnt say sorry at all, very bad experience, and she also didnt do the hair colour i ask her, and also left me in the blow drying station while she goes off somewhere, instead of taking care of her client she didnt, so bad for an experience.
