I was very pleasantly surprised when I got there, didn't know it was a full beauty salon. The woman who cut my hair seemed to know exactly what I wanted and needed, the result was a perfect cut at a great price $ 12.00. Great place to get your hair cut. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Haircut is good quality and good price. For first time customer the price is $9 so you can try it out. You won't be disappointed.

I visited this place since it was close and had good review. Store is super clean, I did not expect to see this level of discipline in Langley. The gentleman (Frank) was very welcoming and so was the lady. Later I realized these two nice people are not the owners but I am sure the owner is proud of their amazing job. Frank took care of my hair in a professional manner and it was not awkward at all talking to him about casual topics. They have a policy of $9 for the hair cut you get as a new customer. I feel bad I paid only $9 for such great service. Frank mentioned Nile (I hope this is the correct spelling) is the owner. I would like to thank everyone at this place and I recommend it to everyone.

Went there for the first time after letting my hair just grow under my hat for months after being sick of going to generic hair salons. Very happy with the experience, cut, and walked out feeling a million bucks. Will be back again!

Went there for the first time and Tasia cut my hair. I am very happy with my haircut. The price was very good as well and only came to just over $20 including gratuity. The only downside I could see for someone would be if they are on a strict budget as I was unsure how my haircut was priced as the gentleman before me had a slightly lower cost to his haircut. I am sure that if you asked beforehand they would gladly give you a price. Sadly I will not be returning as I was just visiting langley....wish this place was located where I live.

Best in Langley! After trying nearly every barber shop in downtown Langley, I’ve been going to see Naiel for the last several hair cuts. He does a great job, his prices are fair, and you don’t have to wait over an hour like you do with the only 2 other barbers in town that actually know what they are doing. Highly recommend this place

OMG that was the worst haircut Ive ever had. I dont even think she knew how to cut hair, I had to get the other hairdresser to tell her how to feather hair. It was different lengths and I got bangs instead of feathered. Never again if I could give it a 0 rating I would. Had to go to another hairdresser to straighten the uneven cut. Horrible

My haircut was too short. The hairdresser was still on training that's why the owner said. I appreciate the owner coming in to check up on the training hairdresser. She told me to remove my mask, no choice given. Owner told me I can get the haircut free due to the mistake done, I refused and still paid. Owner and another lady said there are 2 other hairdressers that are good.

The first time i went here the barber dipped out 5 minutes into it to pickup his car and when he did his friend showed up and talked to him the entire time. I ended up getting my head basically shaved off when I asked for a light trim. After a year later I decided to give them another chance and as I walk in I see a "Cash Only" sign and am directed to take out cash next door. Now i have to pay an extra $3 just to get my haircut? I've heard such great things about this place from several friends but everytime I walk in obstacles are put in front of me. Hopefully you return to your former glory but I'll never bother seeing if you do.

I have been getting hair cut at this place for the last few years. I loved it because the price was so affordable. I went there with my 8 yr. old son yesterday. (My first time getting a hair cut since Covid lockdown.) I found out that the price is no longer affordable here. It is now $25 for adults and $18 for kids. I'm happy with my hair cut, but I am now going to venture out to other places with more affordable price. Thank you for the affordable rate for the last few years! If I can't find any other hair place with competitive rate, I might come back.

Been going monthly for several years now - a great cut for a great price! They're happy to chat, but they don't keep you in the chair blabbering away. Sometimes I sit in silence and its a nice break! A fun crew of stylists/barbers, all with their own unique backgrounds (and accents!). Great place!

I called to confirm they had time to cut my hair, he said yes no problem come right now so i did and when i got there 3 guys are all waiting for their hair to be cut by the one guy. So they did not do a bad hair cut but have terrible business practices in my opinion.

I vote this a no go haircut experience. Caucasian lady doin a men’s cut Rushed said she only had 10 minutes to cut my hair!!! But then when she said they only take cash she all of a sudden was happy to wait another 10 min for me to find an atm. Cut was ok at best!!

I called to make an appointment for 2 children’s cuts, and some colour foils. I was told they close at 6 so if I was there by 4 they could do it. No appointment needed, just walk in. We did so, and upon arrival at 4 like I was told they told me they did not have time since the one stylist didn’t want to stay past 5 and wouldn’t have enough time for what I wanted. When I explained I phoned and was told it was fine before I drove down there with all my children she said I know, but basically oh well sorry. Bad customer service and slightly rude inconsiderate staff. I am not impressed. We left and took our business elsewhere. Disappointing waste of time.

EDIT: this place used to have great barbers, but unfortunately not so much anymore. I get a simple haircut, but the barber (middle aged blonde women) did not even blend my sides with the top of the hair. I can understand for $8, but I'm paying $16 plus a tip. Going to find use a different barber from now on.

Went in today upset as my 3 year old son had cutt his own hair. The barber who helped us was patient and extremely friendly. He transformed my sons uneven "trim" into something amazing. He taught me what a fade was and even gave him a nice shape-up. My son walked out of there strutting his new hair cutt he was so proud of the job they did. We got the $9 first time hair cutt deal and we will definatly be back. Thank you again for the awesome service!

Beware of this place if you're a woman! I had the absolute worst haircut I have ever had in my life. I asked the young girl working (with glasses, and shorter 2 pink/purple hair) if she was able to cut my hair and showed her a picture. She said no problem. She completely botched my hair. The front sections were like 3 inches in different lengths. She butchered the back and gave me uneven layers. I specifically told her at the beginning that I wanted to keep length at the front as I had 2 front pieces that were highlighted. Again she said this was no problem. After I told her she messed up my hair she told me I should have gone to the other girl there who had previously did my hair. Seriously?? Nice response. Unbelievable. Horrible haircut, and even worse customer service. I will never go back. And to add, I did ask for the managers information to which the girl said "he's never even here".....wow, no wonder they have someone so incompetent working. Even though there was absolutely nothing he could do, it would have been nice to to let him know what happened.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hair studio to anyone. My haircut took 1 hour and looks nothing like what I asked for. I asked to keep length but they went way too short. The lady was very sloppy.

I have been going to this location for many years, and seen many changes over the years, always for the better! Naile and Frank are both great guys, always a few good laughs during cut! The gals in there are great also, but I usually try to get one of the guys. I am so shocked to see some of the complaints, and wonder if they are competitors or simply people who don't realize prices have to go up to get quality. I always felt I got a great value for the lower prices and sure, I would still like to see them stay low, but at the new higher prices, I will never complain, I still get great value for the price. The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten. (Benjamin Franklin). Thanks for being there guys, hope to see you soon! This review is long overdue.. If you are thinking of bringing your kids here for a haircut ( especially toddlers) just make sure they are " calm down" as what the blonde hair lady said (no crying kid is allowed) so she can cut the hair. (I'm not even asking for a stylish haircut) Otherwise, she will not do it. Good luck If you have a toddler. It will take you forever for them to calm down and get a haircut done. Your kid should love getting hair cut and you are not going to have a problem. I shouldn't have given this business any stars to begin with. Maybe for adults haircut they are good (based on other reviews) but for toddlers.....eh.
