When looking for a new barber in town for my boyfriend to try, I came across Dapper Dan’s and with so many good reviews, I encouraged him to give them a try. I phoned this morning and booked an appointment for 5pm today. I dropped him off shortly before and parked to wait. He came back to the car about 10 minutes later after a guy had asked him if he was the 5pm appointment and then abruptly left. Didn’t say anything to him; just walked out the door. I don’t know if there was some miscommunication or not, but definitely not a good first impression.

I've been getting getting trimmed and cut for probably 15 years at Doug's. Fast, clean, consistent cut every time and a great price. A real, live, authentic barber! Needless to say I was alarmed and bummed when I saw a notice on the door a few weeks ago: "Closed until further notice." At first glance it was awesome. But when I got home I payed more attention and realized he didn't fade me hair to my beard. The fade around my head was more of one length to another and he cut me with a straight blade while doing my part. Multiple times.

I had a great experience here. Atmosphere is very nice and chill, casual and laid back feeling. Service is also very good and staff are amiable. I can't be happier with the haircut! Sam is amazing. I first time met him years ago in downtown and following him since then. New location is bit far from me, but still worth time driving there. Was in Langley and needed a haircut and found Sam nearby, and it was the best decision I’ve made! The cleanliness of the shop and the short wait time were the cherries on top, but the cut itself was one of the best I’ve gotten. I asked Sam to show me the different lengths and he accommodated until I was happy, and the conversation made time fly by! If you want a clean fade, this place is for you, couldn’t be happier.

Place gives the best fade! My barber Alex moved here from another barbershop and even though it’s a little further away, no ones been able to replicate his cuts. I always try to make it out to Dapper Dans when I can for my haircuts. Reasonably priced as well! Highly recommend!

My first time haircut here was stellar, after using my previous guys for 15+ yrs until my usual guy left a got a couple bad trims in a row. Great price, not rushed and very thorough. I highly recommend these guys, and would note that any marginal Google reviews from more than a few months ago are for prior owners vs the current ones.
