Milad is the man! Seriously though Thumbs Up Barber Shop is the best barber in KW in my opinion. Coming from someone who is quite picky, Milad has stood out since day 1 as someone who takes great pride in his craft and pays close attention to the details. If you are in need of a good barber I wouldn’t recommend anyone else in KW. With that said he is quite busy so make sure you go online and book ahead or you could be disappointed if you were expecting to just walk in.

I took my 5 year old son here for the first time today. His hair had gotten very long and he wanted it cut much shorter. He has various sensory issues and can be super picky about how his hair looks. Our barber Bee did such an amazing job! He was so patient while my son talked non stop about super Mario and always checked to make sure he was okay during the process. It was such a wonderful experience and my son LOVES his hair ! Definitely will be returning !

Great cut! Got there on time and immediately got to work. Easy conversation without being too chatty. Fair price (cheaper then what I get when I travel to the States or Toronto) and the place was really clean. Will 100% be back when I'm in Waterloo. By far the best haircuts I’ve ever had. Milad is a perfectionist. Great person to converse with as well. Opted for the hot shave today - never had one before, but I’ll be coming back for more with Milad. He has the steady hands of a surgeon. The generous use of hot towels on my face was a real nice touch. Best way to tell you how happy I am to have found Milad as a barber - if I moved to Ottawa, I would still make my way back to him for my haircuts.
