My hair has been cut by both Cheryl and Heike. They are super nice, considerate, and give good haircuts at reasonable prices. I usually go to Cheryl, and so would like to point that she is a particularly nice person to talk to. Students can avail a discount - haircut for 19CAD as of Aug 2016. They take only walk-ins and not appointments, but I have never waited for more than half an hour for a haircut. Highly recommend.

By far the friendliest service I've had at a salon or barber! Sheryl is entertaining and very good at what she does. It's a great little shop tucked away just enough that it doesn't get too busy. The prices are great for students and still pretty good regularly. I get in and out in about half an hour, depending on how busy they are. Check it out!

Really great atmosphere but it became very clear quickly that the barber there is only used to very basic hair cuts and not styling at all. Definitely not the place to go to if you want a good fade, especially if you keep the top of your hair longer. Clearly no attention to detail as she didn't pay any mind to how my hair way styled and simply just used the trimmer the entire way up blindly. She seemed very nice and all, but doesn't make the fact that I'm going to have to grow my hair out for a month then go get it re-cut elsewhere any better.

These folks offer a simple haircut to great effect. Clients include old geezers like me and any number of young people from the universities and college (when they're open). Career barbers both! Call for an appointment. You will not be disappointed. Today's cut cost me $25 including tip. Can't beat that. Don't forget ... wear your mask!

I have been going to super Dave for more then twenty yrs . Since i use to get a hair cut from Cheyral's dad Dave and he passed away 20 yrs ago. Its hard to believe its been twenty yrs . Cheyral told me i was the last person who talked to him . As usual i was running late as Super Dave closes his shop at 5 pm and it was already 4:55 pm therefore I called Dave and ask him Not to close his shop and i will ne there in ten minutes . I got there at his shop at 5:05 pm and saw an ambulance parked in front of his shop . I thought may be he slid somebody's throught shaving ???? and i read in the news paper that Super Dave had a heart attack and right there at his shop at 5 pm when he was waiting for me to show up.

You've seen the reviews. Although for my cut today it didn't matter too much, it is a little uneven. Guys, if you care at all about getting a good haircut here, go to Cheryl. She'll take care of your hair. The other lady's nice, but she might need some glasses or something. She might not have been able to see what she was doing.

Been going to Heike's since 2004 when she opened her own business. Always a great haircut and relaxing surroundings. Newspapers, magazine and TV if you have to wait. Beats the "chain hairdressers” by miles. My son John used to use one of the chain ones but after trying Heike now refuses to use anyone but Heike for his haircuts.

Boyfriend went here for a simple cut; they obviously slipped doing the back and did not bother to fix it, and they literally missed half of the top of his head. Absolutely awful - we had to fix it ourselves. You're better off at first choice hair cutters!

I needed to get the sides of my hair cut since it likes to grow outwards. I decided to get my hair cut by Cheryl since she had good reviews. For a $18 haircut, I literally could've gotten shearers and done it myself. I normally spike my hair, so I got that shortened too; the cut was uneven. The final touches weren't detailed enough either. There were still strands of hair that should've been cut. My regular Chinese barber in Toronto could do a better job for a much cheaper price. Needless to say, I will not go back. The only positive note was that Cheryl made good conversation.

Terrible Haircut. This was my third time at Super Daves and my third bad hair cut. I gave clear instructions and every time they say 'dont worry I know what im doing I have x years of experience' and proceeded to do their own thing.They cater to mostly elderly customers and do not understand how to cut young peoples hair properly. If youre a student looking for a fresh haircut, do not go here

The old lady was nice.. but the haircut was a disaster.. lady doesnot know how to do a fade.. hair were so uneven.. My frnd wanted to get haircut for his sister's wedding..he was growing hair and beard from last 4 months to get it perfectly cut...but the cut looked so awful and uneven that he had to go for buzz after.. Also, Rather than styling the beard and moustache she trimmed all of it...This was so disappointing And had to pay $25 for that... Waste of time and money Might be good for older people would not recommend for young people who want lastest style.. No offence but I think she should be retiring now

Went once back in the fall and had a decent haircut so I thought I would be a regular customer from then on. Went back again a month later and what I got I can only describe as the worst haircut I have ever gotten. Told haircutter specific instructions to start with a 2 on the sides and fade it up to a 3 to where I part my hair. She chose to ignore these instructions and without even asking for clarification goes with a VERY short 2 all the way to the part. Did not apologize or offer any sort of compensation for the terrible job that she did. Overall do not go here unless you have a thing for looking terrible.
