An LGBT+ Friendly business. The staff at Pioneer Hairworks are always very open to my ideas. I bring some pictures to my appointments and they are always willing to give it a try. They don't shy away from styles just because I (a woman) want a masculine haircut. I occasionally colour or trim my hair at home, and the staff have never make me feel bad about doing so. I feel very comfortable with all of the staff, and the atmosphere of the salon.

I've been gong to Pioneer Hair Salon for about a year and have always had a great experience. The salon itself is well equipped and has a Friendly atmosphere where I always feel welcome. The stylist seem to know what looks best for me and gently make recommendations which I appreciate.

I received a haircut on Wednesday, November 10th - I asked the stylist to clean my hair up as it had been awhile since getting a haircut; specifically mentioning I did NOT want much length off. She thinned it out as well, per my asking. I am struggling to enjoy my new hair, as it is much *much* out of the way of what I asked for. I CANNOT put my hair up anymore, which the stylist said I won't have any problem doing. I think there was a point, too, where I noticed the stylist frustrated as she realized how much she took off. Can't say I will be returning. I don't know what happened.

You can tell instantly that this hair salon is well run, covid compliant and all hair stylists I saw there on Saturday were professional and obviously skilled and customers appeared pleased with their cuts. (men and women). My hair stylist was Kaitlin and she is a skilled hair stylist. Polite, friendly and able to deliver the cut that I wanted with no problem. All in the face of COVID protocols on top of it alI. I got the best cut I have had in a very long time. You will not be disappointed with any stylist there from what i saw. This was my first time here but this will be my go to now.

I've been going to Pioneer for over 10 years. I love the service, energy and staff of this salon. It is always a good time sitting in Shelby's chair, and she does amazing work! You know you've got good hair when your hair dresser is beaming with excitement at then end. 10-stars all day long! :)
