Do NOT waste your time booking an appointment, because they either book another person at the same time, OR they will make you wait for at least 20 minutes because they are ALL busy dealing with walk in clients. So, just walk in and you won't need to be angry because they are late. The cut quality is actually good, however it is not the only thing you need to evaluate regarding any kind of service. I believe that the way a professional treats his clients is the best indicator of his service, and that is the reason I'm giving just one star.

went to get my haircut here and it was friendly, the fades are super clean and they definitely have a passion for cutting hair but I don't think the trim was done very well the barber who cut my hair cut the bangs and left a clump of hair on the top back of my hair. my previous barbers from a salon would spend at least 10-20 mins on the top part and make sure its even but here it was just the bangs and i paid full price for trim and fade. Its very hard to style your hair when its not even.

I've been attending Lux Salon & Barber shop for a little over a year now. Honestly speaking I didn't know what to expect going in. Previously I would base my hair cuts solely off of convenience and go to places like Sport Clips (read my Ira Needles review) which usually ended up in horrible haircuts / experiences. I was referred by a friend and I've been hooked since. The staff is not only professional, knowledgeable but they are also respectful of your time (don't pay attention to the other reviews) the atmosphere is friendly and overall I can't praise them enough for the service they provide. I would Highly recommend this place to anyone in real barber shop experience.

I went to this place to have a hair cut for my little boy. There was a man with long pony tail asked me to book an appointment. I did so and went on time. While we wait at the Salon, the man with the Pony tail was doing the hair cut for a guy. I simply asked what the hair style name you just did for the other guy. He replied i can't remember and i said you just did it for the last person. He again answered like he does not want to help me at all. I was bit embarrassed and decided not to have a hair cut there. Asked them this is the way you treat your customers and he said fine you can go out and have a great day. I will never visit this place again.

Went here for a hair cut and beard trim for the first time. Would give them a zero rating as this is the first time I’ve seen blood coming out from 3 to 4 spots while the person, didn’t ask for his name, was trimming my beard and he didn’t bother about that. The trimming done for the haircut was also a terrible experience as it was not a smooth experience compared with my previous experience in other shops. I went to this shop as I was in the fairview mall and they are the one near to that place. Seems customer was not important to them. I won’t mind spending more time and money to get preferred service rather than getting such a poor service with blood from my face. I have to ask for after shave lotion as the one served me didn’t even bother to provide. Poor workmanship.

Right now, Lux is offering $5 off if you give a good review. The place is nice, but that move is super sketchy as it drowns out any real criticism or feedback people might have about the place. As for the cut, Dave was very polite and helpful, and did a great fade, but cut my hair way, WAY shorter than we agreed upon, so it was not a good cut overall. Hopefully just a one-off mistake, he has real talent.

Service is good But the price now way to high I used to give $25 for bead and hair cut but now they are charging $45 Like a $20 increase in price is not worth it Even if there is nothing written that price has been changed. I would say they should write a correct price for beard and hair cut. I have been told a stupid reason for price up that they used blade for beard, so the price is up

I had a hair cut and beard trim from here yesterday. Hair cut was good ,but beard was completely disappointing. I had showed Koosh (the barber )exactly how I needed and he did it in his own way and made it really weird. I was forced to shave it off.Still there are some hairs left over and there is no symmetry. No more coming back.
