Old school cool. Harold is now the oldest working barber in KW. Amazing stories, great cuts and a fun straight shave once in a while are all part of this small basement shop. I have been coming here for over 5 years now.

Went in for a hair cut and beard trim ...first of all I had about 3 inchs of length on my beard...asked for a tidy up trim and in one swipe it was screwed up....so at that point I told him to just straighten it up and this is what he gave me...one side is shorter and my lip is totally uneven and too high...don't recommend this place as he is a butcher

Don't ask for a bread trim, he will butcher it! Nearly had to shave my entire bread off when I got home just to fix it. Will not return.

I went to Harold's for over twenty years and he is awesome. I could go there in the morning after night shift from Uniroyal, fall asleep in the chair and he would still do a great job

Harold is a solid dude. I recommend him 100% very thorough with cuts and trims. My buddy got trimmed up and Harold nailed it. The 60+yrs experience definitely showed.

What a cool experience. Harold has been cutting hair for 40 years. I called for a walk in appointment and he was happy to take me in. I came in and decided to get a cut and shave . It was a wapping $26. Great price for great service. Check him out. Old school style barber shop in a small basement room. Loved it !

Charming owner & place - a bit like stepping back in time! We didn't come out with the haircut we expected (was a little short) but it was simple and well done. Good value for money.

NOT pleased with the haircut from Harold. I phoned around Kitchener looking for a barber shop that was confident in doing a high and tight brushcut. Harold himself said he does them all the time. Cut was chopped and hacked NOT flat on top (my head looked like an upside down bowl). My wife had to fix it as best as she coul but it was like trying to straighten out a warped board. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED He says he is the oldest barber in Kitchener...I think it's time for him to retire.
