I was nervous about whether I'd be able to find a queer-positive space to get my hair cut when I moved to KW, but I really needn't have been. Lilly (barber) has been cutting my hair for a little over a year. It's always a great experience: my haircut (fade) is always fresh, and Lilly is extremely fast and very easy to talk to! My partner has started getting her hair cut here as well.

Lily did an amazing job cutting my hair exactly how I envisioned it. She also did an excellent job making me feel great about my haircut and the overall experience. I was nervous about interacting with people but she managed to get me to talk and have a really good time! Booking the appointment online through their website was an extreme breeze. I especially appreciated that the approximate prices for their services were already listed and there are brief descriptions about the stylists and barbers. Amazing setup! I'm very excited to come back and get all my hairstyling done through Good Hair Co Salon and Barbershop from now on. I can't recommend this place enough!

Over the past two years I have been going to see Lily. Lily does a great job fading and giving me a great look. Also, she does great work with my beard. In addition, she gives great tips for maintaining between visits and suggests good products. Lastly, time flies by during a session with great conversation with Lily!

Cannot recommend this place enough! I've gotten my hair cut by Sydney twice now, and she is the only person who has ever cut and styled my hair such that I'm happy walking out of the salon. I have very thick and wavy hair which can be extremely unruly but Sydney does a great job. In addition to the quality of service, the staff here are extremely kind, fun to talk to, and welcoming, as well as visibly and openly support vulnerable populations. They also follow safety procedures for covid. I could keep going, as I have a million good things to say about this place but to summarize- go here for your next cut, colour, etc. You won't regret it!

I felt super comfortable in the chair and she listened to what style I was looking for and delivered more then I could of ever expected. I have had numerous compliments from both friends and family which makes you feel like a million dollars. I have truly found my new home to get a haircut. Peter is a fantastic barber whom I have been seeing for the last year now, and I love my fade and bears style every time I go in. He is meticulous and always remembers exactly what style and trim I want without question. He and his wife started up this shop recently, and I'm very happy he has a space to call his own. It's a beautiful shop. Lots of plants and they also have some of their friends working there as well to keep up with demand and I'm sure to have a range of styles to offer. I'm very excited to watch and see as the shop grows and gains traction within the community.

I just got my third barber cut from Oliver and can't recommend this place enough! Everyone is friendly and supportive and Oliver and I are just two peas in a pod. It is always enjoyable and I leave with a great cut and a smile on my face. On top of all this they charge by hair length and style of cut so I don't have to pay an extra fee just for being a woman.
