Well, where do I start, I am super impressed with the overall treatment from the very friendly stuff to a welcoming environment to the VIP treatment. Mohammad and his team are just super amazing! This was my first visit and they made me and my younger brother feel so beyond comfortable and took amazing care of our hair. They didn't only take proper time and care but rather in simpler terms just killed it! 10/10. I 100 % recommend this place to everyone, definitely me and my brother will be coming here all the time now. As we our their new loyal customers. I mean imagine the level of joy you get for example, when you get an economy class air ticket but get upgraded to Business for free. That is the feeling we got here. And oh boy, I have been to many hair salons. But this is now our go to hair salon. Another thing to Love about being a resident of Waterloo Region! If you ask me to rank, I would say City Style Barber Shop is surely 100% No.1 , Second is Bogarts Hair salon and third is first Choice Haircuts. But don't get me started on Great Clips. They are just random people with no respect, training and care for their customers. Its like giving a pack of scissors to a random person and asking them to put on a youtube video and then cut your hair. Haha! Honestly Great Clips is horrible (University Avenue location) Anyways, I hope you all stay safe and enjoy your summers! Toodles. ;)

One Thing To Know Is That The Price Written Outside The Store Is Actually Just For A Standard Haircut. So If You Get Like A Skin Fade Done Or Somethin Like That Then It’s About $10 More But Good Experience.

Messed up my hair and overcharged me. Don’t know how to fade hair as in please get better trained workers, I did a better haircut myself during covid when barbers were closed. Skin fade was requested but almost left me looking completely bald. Worst part is this was for a wedding too and previously heard good things about them, it seems the reviews are inflated for a discount or something , will not be returning unfortunately

Not sure about the other reviews. But the fade I got couple weeks back was meh The guy rushed through it because they were having lunch break at 5pm even though I had the appointment at 5. Had to wait 15 mins for them to finish. Why schedule someone in if that's your lunch time? Asked for a low fade. No guideline, no nothing. Went straight for the razor and the blend was just not good when you eyeball the whole thing. The whole cut was probably around 15 mins because someone comes in at 5:30. Yeah u won't get a nice fade from that for sure.

Mohamed does a great job with taking his time and being as precise as possible during the haircut. He always double and triple checks to make sure lines are neat and fades are properly done. The interior of the barber shop is amazingly designed which creates an inviting atmosphere, while also being super clean. I remember the first time I had a hair cut with this exact barber was maybe in 2019 I was looking for a barber when I was working in waterloo and since I try them especially that it was Mohammed the first person I had my hair cut with I never regret it. I have been having my hair cut with Mohammed he is one of the most professional barber that I have tried so far. I live in guelph and always come all the way from there just to have a hair cut The place is very clean amazing design it looks very high class barber. Prices is amazing. First time to this location. Their shop looks luxurious and atmosphere is quite and nice. It was my first haircut with Mohamad and I can’t thank him enough that he fixed my haircut which was given by another Barber on different location of theirs. Mohamad is really nice guy and very professional barber. You’ll rarely find any barber like him. I was on tight schedule and I had family function coming in two days. I’m glad that he called back and helped me with my haircut. Appreciate all the efforts he gave.
