Nice environment and warm staff. It was my first time here and l went in for an ashy balayage. Ken was very patient, very detail-oriented, very knowledgeable and super chill. I’ve been coming to this salon since it opened and in fact I’ve had the owner do my hair since I was 16 so this is a 30 year relationship that I value. I now live in California and always come here for my hair when I come back in town a couple of times a year. He is often one of my first calls! I trust him with my hair and for him to tell it like it is when it comes to hair. He is honest and truly cares to make people happy. I’ve had him do my hair for many special occasions and he accommodates my schedule which is important to me when I’m on a time crunch which is always the case.

I got my hair cut by Ken today and he did a great job! I got just the hair cut I asked for and I'll definitely come back for my next hair cut. Just one question though, there was a product Ken put in my hair before drying it with a blow dryer and I'd like to know what it was! I'm asking since I see that the owner responds and I'd be really happy to buy some of that product myself.

This is hands down one of the absolute best salons I've been to in my life. Me and my partner have been going here for 3 years now. I've very specific tastes and requirements of my hair stylist and at this point I don't even need to tell Andrew what I need. Andrew is a genius and an absolute sweetheart. You can never be sad in Andrew's company. Same with Jasminka, another hair stylist in the salon: Her cookies are to die for I hear haha! Go to Andrew's without a second thought. Whether short or long hair Andrew knows exactly what your face needs. They have top notch equipment and products. They are extremely clean and Andrew himself has a lung condition so he has to and does take lots of extra precautions in the salon and follows all the covid protocols. Enjoy your visit!

From booking the appointments to the quality of each haircut, the team really knows what they’re doing. Andrew is very professional and pays very good attention to detail every time he cuts my hair. This studio is awesome! The owner is the “professor” of styling and I always ask him for advice about hair. I dyed my hair twice here and the results were pretty good. The price is reasonable. Highly recommend.

I thought because of the great reviews here I would have a good experience. I was in shock as soon as I got there. No masks, the guy there was blowing his nose didn't even put the tissue in the trash just on the counter, touching everything. I was honestly grossed out. I ended up waking away and not getting my haircut. And the way he was talking to the other hairdresser was kind of rude. Zero regrets.

Dropped in while I was in the KW area. Andrew did an excellent job. Not only was he accommodating, he was very fast and careful. I generally don't have great experiences getting my hair cut, but this was an exception. I'd be happy to trek from Brampton to Waterloo to get my hair cut again.

This salon had an amazing atmosphere. I had virgin hair I wanted to babylight/balayage into a light brown and Wendy did JUST THAT. I'm extremely protective over my hair so dyeing it for the first time, I had to ensure it was someone credible, Google Reviews did not do me wrong. I was complimented on both the cut and the colour by everyone, Wendy worked on my hair until it was exactly to my liking and answered my numerous questions patiently. You can see she truly cares about her clients. I'll definitely be a returning client!

Andrew is the only guy who cuts my hair now after my awful experience with Black and White. I went there for 2 years and received razor cuts 3 times. In comparison, Andrew is the type of guy who accommodates his own schedule just so he can fit you in or get you looking nice in short notice. He’s super talented and offers great service. Often hairdressers will cut hair shorter than expected, but she kept it the perfect length while adding layers. This is a very belated review. Jasminka did a great job with my hair. I'm happy with the highlights. The only thing to be aware of is that they won't tell you exactly how much the price is going to go up as they're doing your hair. I was told that the upper end for highlights would be around $200 something before my appointment and the final price ended up being around $350 and that was with a "discount" of $50. Overall though, they did a good job. You can definitely trust them with your hair at least.

I have been going to Ali for a cut and color for several years now. He is the best!!!!! He is able to cut and tame my curly hair, which is no small feat. I also have severe allergies to hair dyes, but Ali was able to fine me a hair dye that does not cause me to get any allergic reactions. I love Ali and the staff at the hair studio! Prices are very reasonable especially for the amount of time he spends with you. I 100% recommend Ali and his amazing hair studio.

I haven't gotten my hair done here but I must say the owner and receptionist are very very kind hearted people. My friend and I were stressed because our electricity wouldn't work at home and we had a physics lab due and they let us use their printer for nearly 40 pages. He didn't even hesitate to say yes or say a word to us. He was very kind and generous. There were many customers at the salon and their hair looked amazing. This place has excellent customer service and from what I saw they do a really good job on their clients. Next time I need a hair cut or anything done to my hair I am coming here. Update: I got my hair cut from here and it was probably one of the best hair cuts i've received, everyone is super nice and I felt very comfortable here. Yolanda is an amazing stylist and gave me exactly what I wanted!

I went to the salon for the first time last week and was very impressed with the service. i did not feel rushed at all and jasminka really took the time to ask me what i wanted. i was nervous as i was colouring my hair for the first time but the balayage she did looks amazing. i am getting so many compliments on it! she was also very friendly which helped passed the time while you are just waiting for the colour to be done. the rest of the staff at the salon were also very friendly and joking around with each other which made a very positive environment. i would 100% recommend this place.

Waterloo is a bad place for a guy to get a haircut. Next time you're walking around in public, keep an eye out for men with fresh cuts: they almost all look like robots, with absurd rectangle hairlines and a uniform length increase from there to the top of the head. They're the easy cuts to give, they're lazy, they require no talent or receptivity to what the owner of the cut needs or wants. This place is exceptional, in both senses of the word. When I got my first cut here the stylist I saw, Ken, listed to what I wanted and then delivered! I came in with clear photos taken following a previous haircut in another city and asked for the same cut. It had an aggressive fade and a hairline fit for a human, which he did without problem. Since that first cut, I've only gone to Andrew Nuri, and Ken and I have played around with the fade, the length, done more intense and more simple cuts. He's excellent at what he does and I've never been anything but happy with my hair. The studio is clean and slick and has a good atmosphere. All the stylists are both lively and professional, and the cuts I see other guys getting always look good too. I can't recommend Andrew Nuri enough.

I will say that my hair looks great but the experience was mediocre. not only were the entire staff not wearing masks but they were all yelling and very unprofessional for the entire time I was there. when it came time to brushing my hair after a wash, I had two people yanking on the strands practically ripping the hair out of my head. on top of this, on the phone they told me I'd be paying $150 but at the cash tried to get me to pay $360. glad they could fit me in last minute but if you are looking for a high-end, calming experience, wouldn't recommend
