I take my 2 year old to MEN ZONE every month we have always had the privilege of meeting with Michael Miguel he is amazing and so good with my son. However yesterday February 18th I called to get an appointment and was booked with Nadir because Miguel was busy, My appointment was booked for 5:45pm as requested I called the shop at 5:15 on my drive over to confirm the appointment and was told what it was booked for 5:30pm I advice the receptionist that I will be there for 5:35. When I got there NADIR took one look at my son and flat out told the receptionist that he will not cut his hair and not in a polite manner. Very rudely “ YO GUY I AM NOT CUTTING HIM “ First of all NADIR go back to school learn how how deal with your customer's and if you are not confident with you skill or you are not capable of cutting a 2 year old’s hair then you need to work on cutting skills. I don’t know who you think you are and trust me I wish my son was not there because I can assure you by the time I was done with you not only would you have lean how to speak to customers, you would think twice before your rude to anyone else. To the management how do you expect your business to grow when you have employees like Nadir and the Receptions. Thank you Rose for stepping in and cutting my son's hair so he can get to his basketball game on time.

First impressions were that the space was a very clean notable area. I had visited this place six hours ago (March 31 4:30pm), and was certainly impressed by the architecture and interior design of the building. However, this is the only reason why they gained one star from me. I went in at 4:15pm for my appointment, and was called to sit at a chair. After I sat down, I had to get back up and sit back in the lounge. This should have been a red flag, but I guess mistakes happen. I opted for the Student Haircut with a *complimentary wash*. The haircut quality and experience was nice, but some of my instructions had gone unheard. This could have been due to masks, and that is fine. At first, Alan had gone over my sides with one of the lower settings, showing my skin. This was not my style, and I definitely couldn't ask him to fix it. Haircuts can be fixed easily. When I proceeded to pay, I was asked to pay 25 dollars, then 30, then 25 again. Again, mistakes happen. A *complimentary wash* was expected, but I didn't receive it. Again, mistakes happen. All in all, a 25-30 dollar haircut gave me high standards, none of which were met. Although I will get nicks and cuts periodically at my normal barber, their listening skills are far more better than this 25 dollar haircut I got today. Was thinking of changing barbers, but I think I'll stick with my 20 dollar barber, who can take instructions, even with masks on. EDIT: I am certainly amazed by the customer service of the Menzone franchise owners. IThey were able to reimburse me for another haircut, along with a shave. Highly recommended this place, just for the level of customer service.

Only 2 of them ever actually cut my hair based on my request, or asked questions to clarify. Rest of them just do whatever they feel like, or interpret (English may not be a strength) from your requests.

The reason for giving two stars is, I was booked in for 2:30 on Sunday but had to wait until 2:50/55. The barber at 2:30 decided to cut hair of a senior who walked in out of nowhere. He didn’t even inform me about cutting the seniors hair and if I wouldn’t mind waiting a bit. We all understand senior’s needs but the customer with appointment needs to know. Also the barber had to be told to use the blade for line up after the hair cut. He was rushing through all the time. Not as good as they make it look. PS: that was my second visit. The barbers name starts with A.

I dont know why some barbers are so overconfident about their skill when they are not. Its my first time with them and I told the barber I want to show you the pic the way I wanted my hairs to be styled. And he said no I dont need picture I will style them better then that. I offered the pic almost 5 times while I didnt know when will he finish. He made the worst out of my hairs and said this is the best he could do. I showed him the pic and even then he was not sorry and then he had a new customer to which he has to entertain. Its not the style only but the hair cut which I explained him also wasnot good. So i told him to shorten the hair a little more to which he have to act in a hurry due to another apppointment. So now my haircut is uneven. The worst haircut of of my life. And I am definitely not going back to this place.

I've been going here since about August now, when I originally went in they were able to fit me into their schedule without an appointment, and I had the pleasure of getting Miguel to cut my hair there. Since then Menzone has been my go to place to get a haircut and beard trim with Miguel being my go to barber thanks to his service and price. I highly recommend checking the place out if you're looking for a new barber to go to.

Booked an appointment with Zaid for my 4 years old son. His hairs were below shoulder length and we wanted a specific hairstyle. The pictures were shown to him. He completely messed up the hair and left cutting in the middle. The cutting was taken over by another colleague but damaged was done already. What a disaster experience ????

$31 for a hair cut is very steep considering that they break down and charge for every possible service seperatly. A machine beard shave costs more than the a razor shave. Mustach trim is different than beard trim. They will charge to cut the side of your head and not touch the top; that will save you a whole 5 dollars. Just charge one amount and stop penny pinching. Online booking is great except that there is no guest login. You need to create an account. The hair cut was average and staff were nice but this place isnt for me. And dont bother responding with the whole "we couldn't find you in our system." That is indicative of your shady business practices. Trying to undermine your customers' reviews by making them seem fake is low.

I was pleasently surprised by the services of Men Zone barbershop in Mississauga. I went there after reading Google reviews so I was a little skeptical at first, but Aman Singh's skill as a barber have me convinced. I would highly recommend Aman Singh for anyone looking for a clean haircut experience. I showed him a picture of the style I wanted and he was able to replicate it with ease. He was able to customize the style to suit my face and that's what made this experience great for me. He is very comfortable using a razor and scissors for a haircut. So overall I would rate this experience 5 ⭐ mainly because of Aman Singh's professionalism.

I went there for a beard trim for new year's. I've been growing it for 2 months and wanted to make it look presentable for the new year. The barber there shaved off so much of it that he turned it from an actual beard into some scruff. I was not happy and wrote a review to reflect that. The owner immediately responded to my concerns online and even called me to clear the air. I never expected this phone call or response but the way this was handled was very professional and reflects the high quality of customer service that this place has and how much they care for their business/clients. Would recommend.

Ok, here's my bit - I'm a hard working common man with long beard and hair (no religious reasons) went there seeing the reviews. 4got the name of cool guy who cut my hair and beard tho. I'm not a style fan, n I dnt have time for going to hair cut itself. 1. Went walk-in. Was serviced in 30min. 2. Receptionist definitely needs training. She needs to smile and be good to a customer from welcoming to billing! (-1/5) 3. The hair stylist was good to deal and talk. 4. I told the barber do my hair and beard in whatever the style he like. Very unexpectedly, he shorten my beard too much (no complaints, bcos i asked him to go with watever he thinks good). Advise - definitely find a good hair style yourself and tell them to cut accordingly than telling them to find for you. And my friends felt it was not a good suit for me (not blaming the barber at all, bcos that's his taste). (-1/5) 5. While cutting itself i shown cutting length mismatch between both sides. He corrected, but after returning home i easily found many other cutting irregularities. May be he needs to put more attention to detail. 6. Barber was sometimes on call during his job by bluetooth. Personally i don't prefer my barber to be on phone at the time i hired him to style me (Personal choice). 6. Priced $50 and cents, I would price $35, considering good attitude of the stylist and shop ambience. Will not return (no complaints, no joys), just not worth the price. All the best. (Don't need a 'compensation' reply as the they do for many other reviews ????)

Very neat clean barber shop with a variety of barbers. I got an appointment when I walked in, which was good. Was pleased with the decor the fragance throughout the shop and the friendly staff, but I wasn't happy with the beard shave that I got, perhaps the reason was that I didn't have an appointment and the guy that I got wasn't a beard expert. I don't live here and I travel often and therefore I use a lot of different barbers so I know how competent a barber is when I get the final result. Even in my home town I use two different barbers, one for the skin fade and another for a straight line. I will use them again if I were in the area but will ensure to pre book an appointment with a beard expert.

Men zone is one of the best barbers because they charged me 20 dollars for a students hair cut which also includes a wash and they’ll also offer you drinks for free. I think you should try Men Zone out because it’s very reliable and the people are very nice and kind to you and the shop is very clean and organized.

I’ve been to many barber shops in my life, but the experiences i have had with MenZone are top tier. The environment is extremely clean, spacious, and with welcoming staff especially the front desk receptionists. All staff have a smile on their face and communicate well. The professionalism of this company is immaculate. My go-to man is Eric, who leaves me with the best haircuts. Would highly recommend this place if you want a wonderful experience!

Really disappointed with the worst service. Never go there. There are so many cheap and good service saloon near this place. I was delayed by 10 minutes not 15 minutes but still, Anwar was free and seating on the chair. I was booked from 5 to 5:30 and I came at 5:11 PM. It’s not too late that I haven’t shown up at all. Previously, I had to wait for 15 minutes even I have booked my timings. Please tell your employees to behave well with the customer because I had driven 10 km to reach there and I went back with disappointment.

They charged us 63 dollars for a bad haircut and cuts all over our face. DO NOT GO HERE. I went there with my dad, they ruined his head and beard, gave him cuts all over his face without even applying after shave, and they charged him 63 dollars. Half of the barbers are unexperienced and new, who dont know how to give a good cut. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Booked my appointment for 4:30pm and was called on time for the haircut. This being my very first haircut in Canada, I was a bit confused about which place to choose. Anyways I am extremely satisfied with the service they provided. The guy who did my hair was Andrew. Kudos man. Loved the entire experience. It's 28.25 (including tax) for haircut. I would highly recommend this place.

Edit: Sabrina was quick to respond to my initial complaint and offered to make things right. Things happen and I hope my next experience with a senior barber will be better. First time coming to Menzone after moving from Ottawa and reading the reviews. I had to wait 25 mins because Nathaniel was running late, which was understandable. They gave me another barber, who was friendly, except I noticed after the cut that I still had split ends on the top of my head! My girlfriend also told me the bottom of my head wasn't cleaned up. It was the quickest cut I've ever had (~7 mins). Not as much attention to detail as I'm used to -- but it could've been worse. Staff were friendly and the store's nice I'll give them that. Just expected more attention to detail at a place with so many reviews.

Worst experience I ever had in saloon during my entire life. They charged me 83$ for Hair color and haircut but it was not even worth of 20 bucks. A lady did my hair color and haircut was a dermatologist, can you believe it. They did my haircut completely unprofessionally. Worst haircut I experienced so far. I was not delayed and they took me in exactly at the time they booked me. I normally paid much more at Donatos at Sq 1 and was never really happy with their service, but this place does a better job and is much cheaper.

Super inconsistent. I had one barber (a new one, cause the old one quit for reasons they would rather not disclose). He did an alright job. I asked for a fade with like two inches of hair on the top. And after he cut it, he put gel, after I asked for none. Like a ton of gel! And pushed it all forward to look like Jim Carrey from Dumb and Dumber. Awful, just awful.

I am very particular with my hair and have jumped place to place multiple times. This shop is not in my area and requires me to travel at least 20 min. Which is definitely worth the travel. First time Barber experience- About as bad as it could get. I came in around 9:45am looking for my first professional beard and hair trim from a barber. I explained that I was leaving the next day for a golf trip with my buddies and wanted to look fresh. I was told Laura/Lauren would be cutting my hair and another gentleman would be trimming my beard. The haircut was going well until she asked me if I would like my lines cleaned up which I said yes to. The next thing I know my neck is bleeding and 90% of my beard and mustashe had been chopped off. I told her to stop and that it looked rediculous. At that point another gentleman stepped in to try to repair the damage that had been done. Long story short the gentlemen was very professional and did his best but ultimately I was left with a bleeding neck, a haircut that's way outside my comfort zone, and a 4 month beard that's been chopped away to nothing. I'm giving 2 stars because the owner and gentleman at the front desk did their best to try to fix the situation but unfortunatley the damage was done. I'm really disappointed. I look like a fool and my neck is all chopped up right before a big trip. Lesson learned-don't believe the 5 star reviews on google.

Went for the first time to see Fadil (owner). Was extremely professional, got some really good suggestions and the final job was top shop. Best thing about this place is the ability to book appointments online so you aren't sitting there waiting......as is the case with some less sophisticated barbershops. The cut + hot shave with straight blade is a bit pricey compared to other places, but you definitely are getting what you pay for.

Not a great experience. I booked my appointment for a hair-cut and a facial. The hair-cut was a 2 on a scale of 5. The guy knew his craft well but for some reason he was too fast and I could see the impact of extra trimmings on my cut. Next was my facial. The price of that facial on their website and shop is $40 and up, I was told by my barber that its $135 and upon asking why is it more than three times what is PRINTED on the service menu in the shop and on the website he had NO explanation. It looked like he really didn't wanted to do the facial and was making up the price so that I refuse to have my facial done.

Apparently Men Zone is one of the coolest places to go for a haircut at the moment in Mississauga. The place is nice. Environment is cool, music is cool, a lot of their stuff is cool, price is average. They are apparently very good in some specific hairstyles. But they seem to lack a lots in professionalism. I have being there few times now with the same guy, and he stops to work a lot talking to friends, co workers, receptionist, looking at the cellphone. Not diligent or focused at all. It is really annoying. From the beginning till when he was washing my head, he got distracted. I will try getting a haircut with other people there, maybe I'm judging all the service wrong because of one worker. But that's my review for now.

My man Joey who had looked like he was cleaning up his station helped me out right after. Great guy gave a good cut would not hesitate to go to him. Men zone gave me that at home experience that every client should feel when going for a haircut, comfortable. Staff is great no doubt, Joey great guy. I had previously given this establishment 5 stars but I retract my statement. On multiple occasions now I have had difficulty with the front desk. First, they accidentally used one of my silver package uses and then claimed that I had used it and it was expired. Second, I booked an appointment a week in advance knowing I would be traveling for business the next day. Initially they moved my appointment because the barber took the weekend off. Understandable. However, the same day, a few hours before my appointment they cancelled my appointment without telling me. When I showed up, I waited half an hour to be told the barber was "done for the day". This place is very hit or miss. Save yourself the trouble.

after 34 years of life i could honestly say this was the best haircut i have ever received. here are some key points you couldn’t even pay for if you wanted to: 1. i had an appointment at 1:30pm; when i walked in there was no room to sit in the waiting area. the place was packed with walk-ins. ok - that usually means amazing value but also ill be waiting for an hour, nope. i was seated for my hair cut 5 minutes before my appointment time. this is a premium service that you are getting without even knowing it included in the price. 2. Anwar H and Kara with a K. i cant say enough about how pro level cut this guy can execute basically at cookie cutter speed. it was the best cur i ever received. he’s also intelligent, courteous, dynamic and able to read a vibe. trust this man with your hair, if that is something important to you - he is technically impeccable. finally, Kara with a K was training under Anwar’s supervision she has experience her self but is also an incredible vibe. i enjoyed every syllable uttered between those two and i. thank you Men Zone.

Too much talk, spent way longer than needed. I showed the guy a simple picture to follow that I've had for years now, he said he got it, but no cigar. I had to point out my hairline twice, which in the end got mixed. The fade left side of head to right didn't match, and overall focus was missing. There may be other better barbers in there, but I am not going to MenZone again. The staff was nice though.

I booked my appointment with Manny Deol for a haircut. Overall it was an good, not great experience. He did great job at the back and one side, exactly how I wanted. On the left, he went a little too short. The only thing I would say is, he needs to improve a little in understanding the need of the customer. The top was too long compared to sides. I asked for another barber to fix it as Manny had another appointment. They assigned me to Moh (this is what he said his name was but I couldn't find him while booking the appointment online). Mandy is a fabulous stylist and she did an excellent job. She also has great interpersonal skills and had very interesting conversation. The shop is very well lit and has lots of space. Parking is also ample. I think this is going to be my permanent hair shop.

Exceptional service. I walked in and the receptionist/cashier attends me right away. My booking was delayed by 20 minutes, but it was tolerable since the vibes were great. I ended up stumbling across this place while I was browsing Google Maps for barber shops. Although booking my appointment wasn't very pleasant as the receptionist book me in for a different time than what she told me on the phone, I had an amazing experience in the end. Kerry is the one who cut my hair and she did a fantastic job. She gave me advice on my hair as I was going for a different style. overall, she was extremely professional, very kind, and very welcoming towards me. Customer services are ok. You are greeted as soon as you enter. This was my first visit ever on suggestion of my son. I told the hair dresser Ahmad what I want and that I use only scissors to shorten my hair, however he took it lightly and started with trimmer size 2 and with first two moves, took away a big chunk of hair and then of course you have no choice. In short a disastrous experience, never going to step in that shop which does not respect the customer wish. On my inquiry as to why he didn’t listen to what I want, he started to tell me his six years of experience and his best reviews on google. What I have to do with those reviews, he just ruined my day.

Hussam you set great example of superior customer service :) I visited Men Zone on 7/Aug/2020 for beard trimming and was attended by Jason who supposedly was their expert, advised by the front desk reservation girl. However, Jason was a total disappointment and this is why I say that 1- he did not know to color beards and refused out rightly (an expert in beards eh!) 2- after half way he said all done and wanted to call it a day and I had to tell him what he left - like bunch of things 3- after reaching home I noticed my sideburns were not properly balanced, one was thicker than the other. 4. did not trim my mustache ends properly and they were dropping and untidy - had to do it again at home myself. They charged me $55 (made $5 tip out of courtesy so total $60) which I think was expensive but would not have hurt paying it if I had got quality service. I asked the lady for their best guy and I think I got the opposite. Got the Groupon, and was pleasantly surprised both by their AMAZING reservation system on their website, and also at the quality of the haircut. Shame I don't drink coffee, because they also offered me expresso. I didn't really know how to evaluate the haircut then and there, but when I got home and the next few days, the sheer number of compliments I've had on this haircut was surprising. They mentioned on how well the detail was on the back, which is rare, and the experience of the owner shined through. Definitely worth a visit, with great interior design, and a spot "just for men" here in Mississauga.

I have been going here for a while and noticed some things along the way. All of the barbers are very talented but i would highly recommend Fadil, as he seems to be the most skilled. One downside i had with Menzone Barbershop is that the 3/3 times i have booked an appointment, i have had to wait well over half an hour. Other than that, i would 100% recommend this place

As i booked an appointment with any available barber, i arrived approximately 10 minutes early. The man at the front desk asked if i have an appointment as i said yes and confirmed it with him. I was then told my barber would be ready in about 5 minutes. 25 minutes later, im still not served, yet people without any appointment got served before me. Once i was determined to leave, the man at the front desk came outside to try and give satisfying services as i got my cut at no cost but i asked to trim my entire head at 0.5 clip. The barber who served me did not cut the top part of my head as i requested. Overall, it was a waste of time for me as im getting another barber to fix this work elsewhere. In response to your response to me...... I am having to get my hair done again elsewhere to get what i initially asked for.

Went to this place twice, first time the barber took over an hour cutting my hair, but when I got home, it was all uneven. This review is for men’s facial - Irum Ahmad. She was good. My concern before the treatment was blocked pores which I thought to be acne, but it was just dirt and dust. She treated me with acne on my request and i must confess she did a fantastic job. I feel refresh on my face and my skin looks smooth and even. I could notice the change right away. Very disappointed this time. I am a regular at this place, usually get my hair done by Umar. But I went with Ahmad because Umar was not available. The appointment was at 12.30 but Ahmed received me at 12.40 since he was getting his own hair cut (and make the customer wait. huh). Thats ok. But since he started he was in a big rush. He was doing the cut at crazy speed. I was done in 10 mins or so. I was so disappointed that i just paid and left. After coming home i noticed that the fades are not similar on either sides and I asked for a spike which didn't happen. I might go back to this place but never to Ahmed Handa.

***UPDATE 2 So, I went back this week, as I said I would, having been invited for a second experience by the owner. I went and saw Yousif. Yousif is a consummate professional. He took time to understand what it was that I wanted to have done. Cleanliness and hygiene are clearly a top priority for him, and to be honest I would say the same for the rest of the stylists I saw there. Yousif did a better job on my beard and hair than I could have hoped for. He checked in with me about things during the haircut to make sure he was on the right track. He double checked to make sure there wasn't anything else he could do for me once finished, and shook my hand as I left. The gentleman at the front desk was kind and courteous, made sure I was happy and I went on my way. THIS is the right kind of experience. A definite improvement ***UPDATE 1 (previous rating 1 star) I just wanted to update this review, i feel it is very important that I do as something very rare happened. I received a personal phone call from the owner of the business wanting to discuss my review and experience. He was clearly unhappy about the review, but not because I wrote it. He was very displeased to hear that this was my experience and was beyond apologetic. He wanted to assure me that he would be handling it, and wanted to go above and beyond to make the situation right. This is practically unheard of from my experience, and it is an example that ALL business owners should follow. I will be going for a second experience later this week.....stay tuned.

Update: took the owner's offer and went back for another haircut free of charge, and this time it turned out perfectly. Safe to say that I will revisit this place for my next haircut! First time visiting this place and most likely the last time as well. If I was rating this place for cleanliness and other factors, I'd give it more stars. But this one star rating is simply for what I got for a haircut compared to what I asked for. I even showed a picture to better illustrate what I want, but it was nowhere near what I asked for. Went here for about 4x already, it was hit or miss. The only reason I go to this place is that the app is so convenient. Most of the time cuts weren't sharp enough like hair sticking out at some parts. (Moise is great) Last time, I was in a hurry and booked Ahmed, I was gonna get the owner, steve or moe but they were booke. I asked the guy to do a taper, but did a skin fade instead. He had to call the owner to get it fixed. Great! I have a skin fade on the left side and a taper on the right. I told the barber that its not even, but he was insisting that it was fine. He didn't even offer a wash and got charged 28$. I got home to inspect the work and its horrible af. It seems that they have interns that do cuts as well. I have no issues with "students" trying to learn, but I wasn't there to have my hair cut for practice. It would be nice to get a heads up before cutting. 1 star for the app, and 1 for moise. I don't think I'll get my next cut here.

I went there for the first time after reading reviews, and I went to have haircut for my two kids (10 years and 5 years), despite me showing them the pictures of a previous haircut of both of them, the barbers did a real bad job on both of them. They gave me a discount of $3 upon complaining but the haircut was worth nothing not a single penny. === The owner contacted me via response to my review & followed by a phone call. He offered me full refund, fixing of haircut by his partner, a free haircut for both kids next time and a free hair cut for me. We could only get the appointment from his partner Mr. Fadil for 2nd of February 2019 and Mr. Fadil did a nice job fixing hair of both kids. We did not want a full refund, it would be unfair to get a refund for services rendered twice. We would surely opt for free service offered for the next time Changing review rating for excellent customer services.

It is a clean and tidy place with nice staff overall. Review is based off of my experiences at the salon so far for multiple reasons. Last visit I had three haircuts together, two kids and me. Kids had lovely haircuts and I got a $10 Chinese job for the price of about $30. I guess every hair dresser should be advised to maintain standards and stick to them. FYI - Price included hair wash, not sure if it's for specific clients!! P.S. I will change my review if the service improves. Didn't have a great Laser Hair Removal experience so far as well. One of my challenges was to stick with the same barber, it seems the turnover has increased over the past months but during this time I had mainly two barbers that were really good. Since none of them are still working there I looked the reviews online to book my appointment with a new barber. Today I arrived a few minutes early and was waiting for my appointment and 25 minutes past my scheduled time I went to the front desk that went to talk with the barber. I am following my appointment in the app and suddenly see they changed the barber and the time without asking me. With that I went to the front desk to cancel my booking. This place started out superbly well until a few months back when they decided to expand the business owing to surge in popularity. The new batch of staff is nothing but a bunch of unprofessional 20 year olds who run this place like McDonald's. MAJID PIRA- This guy has to be the worst barber I have ever encountered! Absolutely no professionalism, he is more interested in bantering with other staff members especially with the reception staff. He will never listen to you, nor pay attention to his work. The last haircut I got from this manchild was the ultimate straw. The worst 20 mins of my life. The reason I am willing to pay top dollar for haircut service is not for the music or ambience but for a professional service from a professional stylist. The least you can do is keep silent and pay attention to your job. Not coming here ever again.

Review #2: Adrian was perfect! I wanted to move on from my faux hawk..he gave me options and ended up giving me a more spiky haircut..not too different from the faux hawk but actually ended up being perfect for me. I look forward to visiting him more in future. Review #1: Anwar was quick and courteous. The fade was near perfect to what I expected. The wait time wasn't long at all (thanks Covid?). The prices are competitively fair and yes, they accept debit/credit cards for those wondering. I hope my future visits are just as good!

Really really disappointed for the haircut. I went there to crop the tip of medium length ( shoulder length) hair. The barber just cropped only the top part( not sure he did the back side too). 100% sure that his scissors dosednt even reached the back bottom part or the side bottem part. I was surprised when he said he is done. All my hair is uneven now with much shorter length.More thanthat the guys was so careless he dropped the comp couple of times , luck enough that he doesn't dropped the trimmer on my hair. Half the time he was looking at something else while was cutting hair and trimming Beard. Worth nothing for 35 dollar. A kind request to barber , if you don't know how to cut the long hair please don't try to learn with the customers hair. Customer service is awesome. A guy who looked like a manager asked me how was everything.. I said fine and he even asked are you happy, I said yes. Because I don't want to risk it out with 18 months long hair. Worst case scenario is I have to go tomorrow to some other place to crop my hair again to make it even. Highly NOT recommend for the medium hair. *Consider below as reply for owner response, it's doesn't allow to reply directly* Yes, I agree that communication is very important. But what if I lost the trust that no one can fix it from your shop and I don't care about the money. That's why I just walked out mentioning fine. I directed the barber how I want to do it in the best way possible and I realized he is not capable of doing it. Lastly, I mentioned 35 including the beard. I simply clicked the pictures of my Beard line after your service ( I can post it If you want ). He even didn't trimmed it under the line. I d to do it for myself from home. PS :- I didn't even get my hair washed before or after. As you mentioned the charge include the hair wash and tax , you charged for the service never received. I know it's a service industry. I believe Mistakes can happen. But the careless and inexperienced one can be avoided too. Thanks

Experience: I have had Terrible experience with Men Zone Saloon, twice till now. I believe it is because of inexperienced barbers working at the location. If you see the pictures it shows how bad my experience was, I believe its just hair and grows back, but naturally takes good amount of time to grow, meanwhile you’d have to face bad looks. Management: not blaming management, they tried to fix whats done to me but they couldn’t. I am now advised to pick and choose the individual barbers at the location but even to do that you’d have to experience and face the odds. I have also posted the owners response, in the images. Cost: For $63 haircut and beard trimming this is the worst ever experience i have had.

Tried out Men's Zone in Oakville because of covid so of course, as with any new random barber shop I had the problem/risk of getting recommended some random beginner barber by the receptionist. I was hoping any barber I got would be good considering this place has a 5 star rating, so I just took my chances. While I was waiting I witnessed my barber's customer before me complaining about his haircut, saying that he doesn't know how to do a fade. For some reason, I still decided to give the barber a chance, and it definitely was the wrong decision. I didn't say anything negative to or about the barber because I felt bad for him to receive 2 consecutive complaints, but when I got home and looked in the mirror I got cheesed. One of the most horrible cuts I've gotten; just a complete mess. What pisses me off is that the receptionist told me that the barber is GOOD, when actually he's the complete opposite. Haircut is uneven and just all over the place. As with a handful of barbers I've had in the past I tried making it clear in the beginning that I wanted a LOW fade, and the man shaves up almost to a high fade. All I'm saying is if you have someone that is new or seemingly has no experience, don't lie and say the barber is really good and make a customer pay full price. That's honestly such a disgrace.

Going to post this here as despite sending the feedback directly to the barber shop, they did not respond. This is my feedback on my first (and last) haircut at Men Zone. Wanted to provide some feedback on my latest visit to cut my hair. I visited alongside my son for a 4.30 pm appointment on Saturday December 12th. My son and myself got our hair cut by different barbers, Anwar (pretty certain his name sounded like that) for my cut and someone else for my son (he was wearing a face shield but no facemask, which isn't great, but fine). Despite telling the man who cut my son's hair how I wanted it (to follow the style that his hair currently had and specifying the length), he basically did whatever he wanted, cutting it TOO short on the sides and back by using the clippers and too long up top, without any style or regards to how I told him we combed my sons hair and style we wanted. Fortunately for everybody, my son was happy with his haircut and thus I did not want to make a scene. Nonetheless, I want to express my EXTREME dissatisfaction with how his hair was cut and the disregard the stylist had for my instructions and comments. I hope that the crew at Men Zone start stepping up their game in terms of cutting hair. Cutting hair actually involves scissors and not just using a clipper and getting rid of a customer in 10 minutes or less ( which ja basically what happened with my son and almost with me).

Came to this salon as I needed a haircut urgently and my usual place had no open slots for the day. Showed the barber (Juan or Johan) what I wanted and advised he can do it. After he was done it didnt look anything like what I showed him and he realized it and advised me, "this is the look for you. Its even better than the picture you showed". And I wasn't too happy how he slipped in the extra $8 to "shape my beard". I wish I was told it would be extra for the small amount of work that was done. He asked in such a way I understood it as just a normal part of the haircut. I wasn't happy with the hair cut and extra beard shaping. My hair is kinda messed up, as it grew out you can make out awkward lengths had been cut, especially the area above my forehead. In my unqualified and humble opinion it wasnt worth my $40 (tip included). I feel that the multiple positive online reviews deceived me. Sorry if this seems a bit rude of a review, but it is an honest one. The charge can be justified if the barber can atleast copy the hairstyle that was shown to him rather than not deliver what he said he would deliver and then say its better than what was shown and was expected in the first place.

Normally I go to the more common barbershop rather than this more polished interior place. I tried this place out upon recommendation from a friend. The booking process was straightforward and is a strength of theirs. My cut seemed a bit too quick and not detailed compared to my usual where they take more time to get a proper cut - and the price is higher...so I feel like it's not worth it. I would return given the right circumstances but it definitely won't be my 'go-to'. Also it's a shame the guy who reads and responds to these reviews sounds like he's not too literate...they should have someone more qualified to handle PR.

Got a haircut, wash, and a beard trim. Jumana was fantastic at cutting my hair and beard as well as providing wonderful suggestions for different hairstyles when I asked for them. The fade she did was great and the beard cut was incredible and I cannot praise it enough. Will be coming back when I need another cut and trying out one she recommends. The price might be a little steep but for such a great haircut it can be worth it. Clean, Covid checks on entry, and on time.

Booked an appointment at 3:30 to have my 3 year old son's haircut. My wife was running late with my son so in good faith i decided to go in myself instead of cancelling the appointment and get a haircut. The appointment was under my name regardless. Got there at 3:31. The owner had already started cutting someone else's hair and said to me if I was a little earlier he I wouldn't have lost my appointment. I was keeping my end of the bargain went out of my way so I don't miss the appointment and thus man treated me as if I was there for a job interview and not a paying customer. Worst experience ever.

Not a great experience. It was my first time here and left with unpleasant experience. I got my hair cut with Mohammad. When I went to pay for my hair cut the guy at the reception charged me $25 + tax. So, I just asked him about the price he charged me since this price is for Hair cut which includes hair wash. I simply got Buzz cut. Then that reception guy talked with Mohammad and his response was very unexpected. He casually told " I set up your hair and applied hair gel and so. " I was like: seriously dude? Then that reception guy simply said sorry and went ahead and charged me $25 + tax. I did not want to get into more arguments so I just paid off the bill. I will never go to this Hair Salon again and would not recommend to any one. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Omar Alsammarraie is a chill guy.. first time taking my haircut and he was really nice and gave me a amazing cute, fade, wash. HE didnt rush through my haircut he did it peacefully and made sure it was good. I dont have the best hair and to make my hair look better than wat its suppose too is just a perfect talent. I usually come to Menzone for a lineup. Last year, I got a haircut by a barber named Majid. He did such a bad job that I then asked Fadil to correct my haircut, which ended up looking decent. This year again I decided to get a haircut after reading the reviews on Google. Two days back, I came for a haircut. However, the barber did not do a good job and he ending up cutting the hair excessively from one side. The fade given was probably the worst I've gotten by any barber in Canada. I even showed a few pictures of how I wanted the style to be, but it was a bad cut overall. I was charged close to $28 but the haircut is definitely not worth the price I paid. Very disappointing once again! ????????

I just came by yesterday, and I am 100% sure I will come again. This is my third time coming to MenZone and it is amazing. The staff is very nice, always offering to help out(ex. Asking if we want coffee, water). Someone is always cleaning the floors to make the place looks professional. It is amazing to look and be at because of the neatness and there are amazing barbers. After visiting Men Zone twice, I can confidently say they are one of the best hair care facilities around. Wael has taken great care to ensure that the cut I receive is exactly what I want and I have never had more compliments after a haircut than the two times he took care of me. From the way I see the other members of their team dealing with the clients, I am positive that they all treat the customer the same way. The facility is spotlessly clean, the music is relaxing and there aren't a bunch of people running around cussing at each other. I'm not sure when that became a mandatory part of the barbershop experience, but I've run into it a couple of times recently and am very relieved to have found a location that is not part of that trend. I have booked over the phone and online. Both are easy to use and my appointments were as scheduled. Great spot.

The reason behind my 5 star rating is their customer service. I went in once while they were busy and under staffed, and unfortunately was not served to my expectations. The part I loved which made me give them a 5 star rating is that they took responsibility for their mistake and made a proper effort to ensure that i was satisfied. No one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes, It was nice to see that when they made their mistake they owned up to it and went out of their way to make things right. This was my first time at Men’s Zone and probably my last. I did not have an appointment because I had never been here before. I waited around 45-60 mins which is fair because I did not have an appointment. My barber was Steven, who is an amazing barber. But I feel my hair cut was rushed due to his next appointment being at the barber shop already. The male at the front kiosk came half way through the cut and told Steven that his next appointment was already here and waiting, hinting that he should hurry up. After the cut was finished he did not say anything about the complimentary wash that was included in the price. So from my knowledge, it was 22.60 for haircut and wash, and he said $7 for a beard line up. When I went to the kiosk to pay the grand total was 41.53 (with a tip included of $1.98). When I told the man that I did not receive a wash he said “Sorry Steven is new and sometimes forgets but here’s a discount for a haircut on your birthday”. Which did not help the situation. I asked if the price could be adjusted due to the inconvenience. He said that he couldn’t do that and that he would have to get a manager but it may take a couple minutes. I did not have time to wait around since the whole process was already at an hour and 30 minutes already and I was running late. Overall, my haircut was average and my beard line up was not clean… due to circumstances. I paid about double the price for a haircut experience that was not worth it.

Went for hair cut and shave . Horrible service , I hate writing bad reviews but could not stop my self . When I asked for shave , the So called Stylist , did not even moist my face just spead the foam and that too very very thin layer and did a blade shave , I had 2 minor cuts and only single shave . Every other place I have gone my shaving experience is relaxing and nice , and here I was get the hell out of here. Please do not need to offer my money back , 25 dollars for shave , spend that money to train your staff with what should be shaving process. The hair cut was as bad , yes the stylist did a good head message after the wash . Will never go and will never recommend. Its a great location which the owner is going to loose the business if he dose not correct it .

Amazing place to get your hair done. When you go ask for Jumana! She is very talented both with women’s and men’s hair. I have very curly hair; Jumana gave me a haircut that complements my face and that looks great with a blowout or with my natural curls. She also cut my boyfriend’s hair. Gave him solid fade on the sides and kept it longer at the top; clean, sharp look (best haircut I’ve ever seen on him). I highly recommend! We will both be back.

Got a quick fade here from a new barber. The fade was above average and really good for a new barber, it wasn't exactly how I wanted it to be but it was still good. The shop is clean and comfortable. They have nice music playing in the background, while you get a haircut. The staff are very friendly.

Really impressed with Men Zone, this was my first visit. (Apr 11/18) My hair was done by Mohammed. He was quick and efficent, and did a really great job. I have to honestly say I haven't had a hair cut this good in a long time. I was in and out in 30 minutes, including wash. $26 + tip. The environment is "masculine" as advertised, but not "macho" or chavunistic. Would be appropriate for kids. I like how you can book your appointment online as well. Perhaps they might consider TV's in the shop to watch while you wait and/or get your haircut. And yes, I would (and will) go back again to visit Mohammed for my next cut.

Updated Post 2017-07-20 I took on the owners offer and was certainly pleased with the haircut and facial. My girlfriend told me that the facial that I had was a good one since it cleaned/whitten my face. If you need a cut, you should definitely give Wael a try. The owner really makes an effort to ensure the customers are satisfied. 2017-07-14 - 1 star I decided to give this place a try as I am still in search for a barber near my home. I booked an appointment by phone and was promptly served when I arrived. The person who cut my hair was only 16 and had only 9 months of experience. To me age/experience doesn't matter as long as you know what you are doing. Clearly the barber is still learning and needs to touch up on a few skills. My barber did not check to make sure the overall haircut was clean & neat. There were many areas that needed fixing after the wash. The wash was really a quick rince with shampoo. There was alot of hair and bits & pieces even after the wash. Not a real wash at all. After fixing the uneven area, the barber forgot to brush off the hair off my clothes and neck. He also didn't really know how to line up with a blade to give you that sharp sideburn and hairline look of "fresh". The owner was nice and did bring me a cappacino only to put it very near the barbers table. There are so many smalls hairs that can get into the drink while I was still getting a haircut. Owner was nice, the barber need to have a bit more practice with the service and attention to detail. Needs improvement.

The worst place possible. I went in for a haircut and beard trim. It was my first time there and I met Mohammad. Haircut was 2/5 but when he was shaping my beard my cut my face with the trimmer. When I asked him what did he do he said that the trimmer was sharp. I mean that is the lamest thing he could have ever said. Its his trimmer and that is his profession. Totally unacceptable. I did not create a fuss about it at the shop and I just hope this cut goes away. My advice to you guys is avoid this place at all cost.

Update: I was a bit unsatisfied with the haircut which the barber did on me. However, the Owner Mr Hassam reached out to me on my cell to enquire what went wrong. He is a nice and a polite guy offered me full compensation and a free haircut even after when I insisted its not necessary. I was a loyal customer of the Mississauga branch but have recently switched over to the Oakville one. It’s a new shop and the owner is pretty great, I’ve had no trouble finding booking slots. What won me over was their attention to detail and the time they put into their craft. This isn’t a shop where you’ll be rushed to stay within the booking slot or 30-minute window, if they see more is required they take the time to deliver customer satisfaction. Had a terrible cut today. Asked the barber to ask me before cutting the top but he didn't listen. He went and cut the top super short. I let him finish since there was nothing to do at that point. As a result I had a mix of weird long and short hair together. Went home and had to buzz all my hair off. There was no way to fix it.
