Doesn't accept Interac or e-transfer even though the shop outside has a sign that says otherwise. My hair was cut by a impatient old guy who didn't even follow my instructions. I asked for a fade with bangs but he didn't even knew what bangs meant . I had to show him a picture to make him understand , still didn't bother enough to get it right.

By FAR the worst haircut experience of my life. I’ve read a couple other reviews below and I know exactly who cut your hair because he did mine as well... Easily the worst and dirtiest barber shop I've ever been to. First if I walk in an the guy just wastes for me to just jump in his chair without asking. First off, he smelt like straight BO. In a business of being so close to someone you need to have good hygiene and smell decent. Then I tell him I want a one and a half fade up to a 2 and he goes k k. He proceeds to go to a skin fade directly after I told him what I wanted. I asked him what are you doing. I told you one and a half and he goes k k I fix it.... how the heck are you suppose to fix hair that's already gone to my skin. Needless to say he messed up my fade completely and I had to continue to let him know that it wasn't even. I asked him to shorten the top a bit and he wasn't running his hands through my hair to measure. He blindly cuts through my hair just using scissors and no hands. I immediately tell him to stop... pay him... and walk out the door. I'm darn frustrated about this experience and needed to share. BEWARE!

I've been going here for a while now. They're good and seeing black hairstyle barbers actually use scissors rather than just an electric razor all the time is a bonus. They even spray you for razor bumps. I mostly spend $25 for a cut

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I usually go here but my recent visit today got me all fired up. Guy that cut my hair can’t even hold sciccors properly. I could tell he doesn’t cut hair and STILL the shop is making him do it. I was sitting for 1 hours and 30 mins for a quick fade and and a buzz and he couldn’t do it. He can’t fade for the life of him and my cut is not even proper. For 20 dollars I expected A PROPER CUT OR AN OKAY CUT BUT MAAAAN THIS CUT WAS MESSED UP. NOT COOL GUYS. YOU GUYS KNOW WHO THAT GUY IS. DONT LET HIM CUT AGAIN

Always good service at zizus. Ownership came from humble beginnings and has built a great business for himself. Staff is trained well. Most of the barbers do a great job. Good place for fades, designs, and lining up hair. Good spot for kids as well. Price is very fair, and almost everyone tips generously here

The room is nice and looks clean. One of the barbers who works on the 2nd chair from the end was not polite and is a kind of novice. His cutting was so bad. He was ignorant of what I was telling him. The other thing is the music they open in the store are not child friendly. They should consider their usual customers (children) and open a music comfortable for kids.

Very bad barber shop... not only do you have too pay for downtown parking but they will discriminate you if you're white. Got stuck with this one guy who didn't even speak English so some guy had to translate to him. First of all i asked for a skin fade into a 1and he didnt even line it up properly... missed tons of spots and I had too tell him to go over it again. It seemed to me he just was rushing the whole haircut just to get it over with, very aggressive when using the shaver. Then I asked him too do my beard and he didn't even line it up properly... if I could give this 0 stars I would. Woudn't recommend this place to anyone if they want a good haircut/fade, wont ever be back too this place!

I told the barber what I wanted exactly. As he was cutting my hair. I told him to remove this small piece of hair and he ending up messing my hait line. No refund nothing. I usually told everyone about zizu because they usually took care of me. Not today.

The worst cut I have ever gotten. If I could give 0 stars I would. I was supposed to get a skin fade and they just made it the same length all the way around and it is super uneven on the front. I could have done better on myself. do not recommend!

Had a great experience here. First off, $20 is an amazing price for such quality. The gentleman at the counter was incredibly welcoming and pleasant to be around. The barber who cut my hair is Michael. He did a fantastic job and paid great attention to detail. Even shaved my facial hair with no additional cost. Will be returning for haircuts in the future. Also, I read in a review that someone felt discriminated against because they're white. I'm as white as a jar of mayonnaise. I didn't feel discriminated against at all.

Theses guys really don't get the credit they deserve. Usually you don't get all three from a business, good, cheap and fast. With these guys you do. A hair cut with clippers, sciscors and a razor for that extra crispy line. And if you need your hair washed, no problem at no extra cost. C'mon maannn!

Brought in both of my boys (6&8yrs old) for some cuts with designs, one of the guys was awesome! Did a great job didn’t rush, and kept checking with me to make sure I liked what he was doing, and it came out stellar!! (his chair was last one on the right towards the back.... he’s got talent!).... the other guy was like second chair from the front, he didn’t even take the time to brush off the hair from my 8yr old & his back hair line was uneven and crooked!! Unfortunately I didn’t noticed while there but i’ll Definitely not take my kids there again!

Excellent Haircut, but open your Damn shop on time guys !!!! Best damn haircut you can get in the city, you all would get a five star if you actually adhere to your hours. Barbers show up to work late all the time, if you open at 10, don't show up 10:15, 10:40 etc. Sucks waiting outside, especially in winter. Been going there for 2 years, they never once messed up my hairline.

Service price has increased to $40 for a regular haircut post COVID without informing customers. Not following COVID regulations properly. Over 25 customers in store waiting. Overall bad service.
