My son came out of his haircut beyond upset that it was cut so much when he asked for just a little off the top. Barber said it was going to look so much better short, but my son wanted to keep his curls, and now they're all gone. Haircut is fine, but not what was asked for, and I don't know if his wishes were ignored because he's a teenager or what, but we won't go back, and I have a very upset kid now. I suggest you be very clear with what you want, and maybe take an adult in with you.

sat there today as a walk in, watching the shop as a barbershop owner operator from a larger city I saw the typical unsupervised young barber way. Sign said walk in friendly yet noone even came to see me for some time. Waited as I saw how the barbers put themselves first before the clients and waited and waited. Some smoke vapes and others running in and out of the office eating because they must be worked so hard. typical when you have an unsupervised shop that puts egos before clients.

Swish is, for the most part, a pretty cool place to get your hair and beard looked after, regardless of your gender, they serve everyone and do a bang up job. Again, for the most part. I have had 3 different barbers cut my hair here, all 3 times they did amazing work, really can't complain about the quality and level of skill all the employees here possess. My issue with Swish is the lack of communication between front desk and the barbers, and the ABSURD waiting times that I have experienced here. Every time I have made an appointment, regardless if the service, I am always waiting for AT LEAST 15 minutes AFTER my appointment start time. Most recently I sadly had to walk out on my appointment AFTER 45 MINUTES OF WAITING. I want to stress the good and the bad here. The haircuts and styling here are amazing, the decor and the vibe of the place is amazing, the barbers are all amazing... But I can't recommend getting your hair cut here if you are on any sort of schedule, definitely do not make mid day appointments over your lunch or anything like that. They will be late, and you will be late for your next appointment, so far that seems the usual. I would LOVE to give Swish 5 stars, but the shop needs to stop running on island time, and start running on a functional schedule in CST like the rest of us.

I've always been picky about how I get my hair done, but I've been wanting to try new places. I decided to come to Swish because I've heard good things and the shop overall is very invited. I got there and was in with no wait and I got Aaron. The cut I got from him was the best cut I've ever gotten. He definitely will have me as a regular now, even though it's out of my way, its worth the trip. Please check these guys out!

So... Second time coming here for a standard haircut. 1st time 30$...Pretty standard I'd say...for a fancy barbershop. Aaron did a fantastic job and wasn't over priced. Haircut Not for me though...I'm a baldy..I took my son for a fresh cut. A 15 year boy. I want him to be able to get a fresh haircut at a fresh barbershop and not one of the cheapo place around the city that dont do so well with "haircuts". And feel good about it too. "Whered ya get that cut bro?" "Swish my brotha!" High Fives! Or Whatever the kids say/do these days. So I sent my son in to get his cut...with my bank card...as I waited in the car meditating. He comes back with a fresh cut indeed...and I ask him how much was it...and wow 40+6$tip...for this standard wash and hair cut. I was blown away. 46 $ for a student? I got home and immediately called them and asked what they are doing charging a student 46$ for a haircut. The professional lady/receptionist (she told me her name...but I forget, she gets Props! Though) explained to me that different barbers have different prices. I did not know this...nor do I agree (IMO)... he's a student!!! .But...again I'm a baldy...what do I know? We hung up and 5 mins later the professional recpetionist called me back and offered to reimburse the 16 dollar difference from the last haircut price with a gift card. That's Fair! We will definitely go back with wiser minds...If you are going there make sure you ask how much the barber charges...because Tim charges 40 $ for a wash haircut and style ...and in my opinion for a wash and cleaning up the sides...40+6tip is outrageous for a STUDENT Over all Swish accommodated us in a fair manner. I feel they did the right thing. No offense Tim...you are a nice guy and my son is appreciative of the product you gave him gratis...but at such a young age...to be charging students that much...its not cool...in my opinion.

Always had issues getting haircuts in the past, was never truly satisfied and just went home and buzzed it off, decided to try swish barbershop, I was a walk in but buddy was able to squeeze me in right away which was great, I have to say that this is probably the best haircut I’ve ever gotten, Mark Martin took great care and time working on my head and beard, very satisfied with the entire experience and will be making it a regular occurrence. The prices are great and definitely worth it ????, 5 stars, keep up the good work guys

I have been a long term client of Swish and I can say from my experience. That the quality of haircut I get from my barber is better than any other. Swish has an amazing team of men and women that take true passion in their craft. Not only do they give you an exceptional haircut but how they treat clients new and existing are unlike any other business. They take great pride in making sure their client is happy and comfortable. The Swish team are elite barbers/hairdressers that could tackle any client from a young child who just needs a simple haircut to an older individual who needs a professional clean look at a very fair price. I highly also recommend letting your barber/hairdresser have creative control if you're unsure what style you are looking for. Each team member at Swish has their own creative way to cut and style hair and I promise you won't be disappointed with the results.

I went to Laycee for hair colouring and was thoroughly disappointed in the overall experience that I had at Swish. I was left unattended frequently, and my hairdresser talked disrespectfully about her other clients. I felt as though our conversations drifted towards petty gossip. While small talk may sometimes ease the awkwardness of getting one's hair done for a long length of time, however, I mostly felt uncomfortable. I usually enjoy the experience of getting my hair done, as it is typically in a relaxing atmosphere. I was also displeased with the outcome of the colour of my hair. She also spent roughly 10 minutes cutting and styling my hair, which seemed rushed. I was also recommended to not pay at the front and to pay her directly in cash. I was slightly confused and uncomfortable with this request.

Here is more: Nick is a skilled artisan of hair & takes pride in his work. I always leave feeling freshhhh! Importantly for me, I work in a professional business setting & Nick has the right touch & balance to provide the perfect mix of trendy & modern with classic & professional. He is versatile so can provide whatever you're looking for. (I've been to other places where I ask for something, & they've ended up delivering me something completely different - not with Nick!) One of the most memorable things for me was the very first time I visited as a walk-in customer, Nick took extra time & care to give me styling tips at home so that I could replicate the great look he provided me on a daily basis. That first time, to a random walk-in, the service level he provided was exceptional & this same high level of service has been consistent ever since. One of the reasons I keep coming back! My husband took an appointment online with a 5$ deposit. He received many confirmation emails. Once he arrive at the shop it was closed. He called more than 15 times and never got an answer, only the voicemail box that was full. They also took automatically the payment of $35 on his card even if no one was there to cut his hair. Very angry. It was a waste of my time and money.

I booked an appointment for 2:45 pm. They called me at 1:30 pm asking me not to come till 3:00 pm because she was running late. I get there at 3 pm went to the door told to call before coming inside.
