The haircut was great, service was terrible. He’s extremely rude and accused my kids of breaking things and not behaving. He messaged me privately saying it wasn’t a playground and asked me to remove my review, disgusting behaviour. He also said he didn’t charge me for broken chairs which was a false allegation. I think it was extremely insensitive, my child has a diagnosis the owner isn’t aware of but he isn’t kind to children. I couldn’t pay by interac, it had to be cash or nothing. Not everyone wants to handle dirty money. I couldn’t even use my credit cards. I won’t be going back. Ever. Sensitivity training would benefit this guy for sure. I guess you can be a rude business owner if you’ve already established your clientele. Live and learn!

We made an appointment and got there in the afternoon, he took his time cutting half my hair because we were the only people in the salon, then someone came for a walk in and I was done.... got home and he only did half the back and one side, sorry but we won’t be returning. EDIT: I’m definitely talking about your place, you were standing outside smoking, blocking the entrance, we made an appointment with you. Some guy came in for a walk in, and you told me that was it. Then I get home to clean myself off because you rushed me out so fast, and my hair cut was so uneven I had to shave it.

I’ve gotten tired of going to the chain hair cut places and their “assembly line” mentality. You can get a decent haircut but it’s hit and miss. Sort of a fast food approach, it’s all about the quantity - the numbers - they push through. Other reviews have noted the detail that Anton has, and that’s true. It takes real professionalism and pride of craft to commit to this when you don’t have a boss or a corporate office watching you. I’m making an effort to find people like this to give my money to, not just haircuts. Well done.

Today was my first visit here and it was a great experience. After my previous barber unexpectedly closed up shop, I began the search for a new one. I asked Google Assistant for a list of barbers near me and King's Kuts was on the list. As others have noted, Anton's attention to detail is meticulous. Great guy. Easy to talk and get along with. Appreciate the time and effort he puts into each cut. No more than you'll pay at somewhere like ultracuts or singletons but twice the skill so no loss there! It is cash only but only a slight inconvenience for the service you're getting. I visited ATcuts (King's Cuts) for the first time today and can tell you that it was a first-rate experience on all levels and would highly recommend his shop to anyone! The haircut I prefer can be a difficult one and not all barbers can pull it off but Anton enjoyed the challenge of my request for an old-school, flat-top brush cut and can tell you the result exceeded my expectations! Attention to detail is first-rate and he listens well to what the customer has in mind regarding their preferred cut and I'm not sure a person can ask for much more than that can they? Price is very fair for the service received and if you like conversation, Anton is well-versed on many topics so you won't be bored while in the chair! Five stars in my books!

A delight to find and experience. Anton really does take his time, saying, "A new head; I need to sculpt the hair first to see what it wants to do". As he cut and trimmed, Anton's attention to detail was brilliant. Anton's life has covered some interesting parts of the world; he is also a soccer/football aficionado: lots of conversational topics while you're in the chair. Very reasonably priced for the time spent. Add $5 if you want him to wash your hair. Highly recommended.

This business has recently been taken over by a new owner. Young, talented and singularly skilled at his job. He hasn't lost his love of hair cutting like so many hairdressers. He made me feel comfortable, talked not too much and not too little, the perfect host. His price was I thought way to cheap for the quality and the service he offered so if you are in the north end around the 1700 block of Main street I strongly recommend this new entrepreneur.
