I’m in Kelowna every couple weeks and my first stop every time is to get a haircut with Kyle at true gents. I’ve been to LOTS of barber shops, a handful in Kelowna as well and nobody beats this place. You won’t have to spend a fortune to get a nice skin fade and a beard lineup here and quite honestly Kyle has done a better job of it than any other shops I’ve tried in Kelowna before meeting Kyle. Don’t waste your time looking elsewhere, this is the place to go! I go to 2 other barbers in 2 other cities religiously that have been my go to for YEARS and I’m just as comfortable coming to True Gents as I am with them.

I’ve gotten haircuts from several different barbers here. Each one did a good job, even the ones who seemed new. It seems like Kyle the owner does a good job as a mentor for them as several times I’ve seen them ask for tips or insights that even taught me about my own hair. I got a lot of cowlicks and he’s the first guy to ever mention a meaningful strategy for combing to go with the hair instead of fighting it natural flow. Also I went in a week after an appointment, the morning of my wedding and he made me look real sharp. No surprise he’s opening a second location, good work team.

when my regular barber was too busy too fit me in. i tried my luck at true gents, what a disappointment. didnt even make it through the dors as i walked up i could see that no one inside was wearing a mask, not the barbers or people getting their hair cut. are they not aware we are still currently in a state of emergency due to the covid-19 pandemic? i find the way this shop is run to be irresponsible and dangerous. shame on you true gents. if anyone needs evidence all you have to do is look at their instagram and you will see in their stories and photos no one wears a mask

I have been going to this barbershop for a good few years now and all I can do is rave about my experiences and the staff. 110% Such an amazing business with passionate and polite crew. I normally get a 0 fade and everytime I go, no matter what barber the haircuts are always on point. Working in the hospitality industry I have to get my hair cut a lot. Even when I think I dont really need a haircut you walk out being like wow okay, feeling like a new man. I've witnessed on several occasions where the barbers are giving haircuts or beard trims to our veterans and homeless and they treat people with the most respect and kindness open arms and open hearts. There is also another location, if you havent I highly reccomend booking in!!!

I decided to check out True Gents as I needed a fresh cut before my big job interview. Right away I could tell the vibe inside this place was different, they were happy (even offered me a donut!) Kyle cut my hair and did an amazing job. 24 hours later three different people asked me where I got my haircut. It likely wasn't just the haircut alone but I did get my new job! Best decision I have made, she touches up the beard and cuts the hair and styles it better than anyone else I have been to! I suggest you go say hi and get your hair cut and beard trimmed! I went to True Gents the other day even though I drive by it almost daily after being recommended to go from a friend. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in and got a seat immediately. Sean was my stylist and he was very precise in what I wanted and took his time to make sure it was right. He did an awesome job! The place was clean and had a good atmosphere mix between old school barber, new school style and was professional all the way.
