Coming from a closed Ontario where barbershops are closed for not being safe but people can still fly while not wearing a mask while they’re “drinking” something for 3 hours, you can imagine I went for a haircut as soon as I could when I made it to Kelowna. Chose Man Made barbershop and found Mackenzie available. I showed him a picture of a style I wanted to go for and he delivered above and beyond. Little things in life such as a haircut and a beard trim can make you happy. Sounds superficial but it’s not. 5 stars review for Mackenzie and the shop!

Walked into the place and asked if they take walk ins they said yes but that they were closing in 20 minutes. It’s a 4:45pm yet online says 6pm not sure how that works. It’s just a random Wednesday not even a Friday. The guy did seem polite and I can’t say anything for the quality of the cuts cause I didn’t get one.

The people who work here are quite average at best, I mean, personality wise. They kept telling jokes and looked as if they were generally having a good time, which I always thought wasn't allowed in the workplace but who am I to judge. Most days I have no idea what I'm talking about but I feel like the work these weirdos do is pretty top notch. Better than okay you could say. I'll go back. The haircut was good if you care about that too...

I have been coming to see Dan since the doors opened. This is without question the most authentic, high quality barber experience in the Okanagan and likely far further out. Dan is a true gentleman and professional, everyone else in the shop follows his example. Truly awesome experience every single time. The online booking platform is a 10/10 for its ease of use and lets me quickly pick my time in between appointments without having to call in and negotiate schedules. Their choice of music is also superb and leads to an overall stellar atmosphere. Try them once, you'll be hooked.

I am not one to write online reviews, however I thought after my experience at Man Made Barbershop I should voice my experience. There were positives about this establishment such as the over all ambiance as it had a very unique style with an industrial old school vibe to it. The location and cleanliness were outstanding. Despite this, I was very disappointed in the lack of care and comfort I felt with the service I got from Warren. I booked a 45 minute haircut which ultimately felt rushed. After showing an inspiration photo so Warren had a visual to go off of, while also explaining in detail how I style my hair, he seemed to not have an interest in what I wanted. I cannot speak for the other hairdressers as perhaps they offer a better service. That being said I would be very persistent with exactly what you want. I have attached my inspiration photo vs. the result. You will be able to judge why I chose to voice my opinion.

Look no further my friends, this is Kelowna’s best barber shop. Personalized service, great atmosphere, awesome product selection - you need to tame the mane, why not do it somewhere super comfortable with a great cast of talented barbers. Had a great cut & conversation with Eric today - I have super dense curly hair that confounds most barbers, but he keyed and did his thing to perfection. It wasn’t like those typical barber conversation you’re used to like weather, sports and politics - but real life stuff, man. It was really nice to have an real chat with someone on a stage where most resort to table topics. These guys are the real deal!

POOR QUALITY I brought my brother in for a clean up at noon today. For $63 for a 1/2 inch trim on long hair and clean up of the beard, I would expect that the barber to bring out the razor and make a straight, clean edge along his beard, maybe hot towel service, or anything over the top. I googled online to find a barber that charges more because I thought I'd get a full barber experience, instead my brother asked me when we got into the car, "why pay $60 at a barber when you can just go to chatters for $30?" I am not impressed.

Nice shop. Young guy cut my hair, did a great job. Wasn’t trained on the blade and that’s fine. Asked for the top of my beard to be lined up with the blade, so the guy cutting my hair asked another gentleman working and he said “yeah but it’s going to be $30”. I guess it’s considered a full hot shave just to have the top line bladed. I got to 5 barbers consistently with my work and travel and have never ever ever heard of that. I pay $21 to $26 at high end shops with the top line bladed in. Nice shop, but I won’t be coming back.

Booked the 'cut throat' straight shave for my personal birthday treat and was not disappointed. Right from the greeting to the atmosphere I felt I was in the right hands. Sat in the chair and experienced several different facial treatments, followed by hot towels. Dan, was meticulous with handling the razor, following it up with a final icy cold towel. He even took the time to trim up my scraggly go-T, plus a little hair thinning and style before I headed out for the evening. Great music in the background, made it feel like I should be walking out to a beach side cafe in Cuba. Highly recommend, and I know I'll be back again. Thanks Dan!

First time customer. Pink did my hair, and I think she did a great job. Sassy ;) Good conversation and she laughed at my stupid Barbacide joke, so she passed my test. The shop has a cool vibe to it, and you feel like you're in good hands. I would not hesitate to go back, but for one thing... booking fees. This place is already on the high side for prices, and after I make the decision to book, my thought when presented with a $2+ booking fee is, "not cool". If ownership decides to use a 3rd party system for payments rather than at the till because it works better for them... that should be their expense, not mine. A big deal? Well, no, but it almost cost you a first time customer, and first time customers just might become longtime customers. Take it as a friendly suggestion rather than a complaint... ditch the fee.

It was $36 for a very basic haircut. And every hair on my head is a different length. Not sure how you mess that up but I won’t go back based off this experience. Maybe I got the new guy I don’t know. I would love to get this corrected but I don’t want my hair even shorter. It was just a number 3 buzz up the sides faded into a full hawk. The hawk is an assortment of multiple lengths at the tip. I’m just a bit disappointed but it’s one guy one time and hair does grow back

I am more then pleased with how I was treated and explained during my insecure times. I came in and explained I had a bit of insecurities about my beard and how it made me feel I expressed I had no idea how to trim or properly maintain my beard. My guy warren was over the top with professionalism and made feel incredible after I was all said and done. Going from a scruffy beard to a really nice clean cut really showed me my true potential for my beard. I was really set on that I couldn’t grow or have a nice beard but that was soon brushed off once warren explained and reassured he could.

I would never recommend this salon. I made arrangements for a haircut for my Father who has been in the hospital for 2 months. They told me they would have a barber come by and then canceled at the last minute after I waited 2 days. I could have made arrangements with someone else. The manager Warren is rude and uncaring. Karma takes care of people like this.

Just got the best fade and cut by Dan! This guy knows how to deliver! Executing the perfect hair cut is certainly what I look for in a Barber but it's also about the experience! I thoroughly enjoyed my conversation with Dan. We're both fairly new to Kelowna and he made me feel right at home! The Shop itself is very impressive and i really like the decor. This guy is busy which is a good sign. Dan really took his time with my cut and I couldn't be more satisfied with the end result! Solid barbershop in downtown Kelowna. Done in the familiar old style barbershop theme. I went mainly because of the stylist, Max, and I can highly recommend him both for adults and children. Staff overall seemed very friendly and the prices are right where you expect them to be. Recommended.

They booked me for a haircut two days from when I called so I could get a slot right after work. They then called me multiple times to change my appointment and ask me to come in 15mins earlier because of a schedule conflict. I took off work early to accommodate them then they left me waiting for 20 mins after my appointment time. The hairdresser was pleasant and did a good job on the cut. The final price was in the ballpark of $56 bucks with tip for a basic men's cut no wash....

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. good place to go if your looking for an affordable hair cut. I booked for a mens hair cut but charged me for a buzz. My hair cut at the time was pretty basic I only needed the sides buzzed and the ends cleaned up on top.

The best barber in Kelowna hands down. It's rare to find a place that puts such an emphasis on the integrity of a true barbershop experience. I've seen Warren for a couple of years now and because of him I would never go anywhere else. Don't settle for generic cookie cutter fake barbershops, go here! You won't regret it.

Terrific. After letting the beard get awayon me and releasing my inner hobo I was informed by various family members that an overhaul was required. As an out of towner I was not sure where to go. I got my beard done a while ago and the result was okay, nothing bad but nothing great either. My husband has been growing his beard for the last few months and was looking so unruly that I demanded he either get it taken care of by a barber or shave it. Lucky for him he went to Man Made and saw Warren because I am now a huge fan of beards. Warren took the time to make sure my husbands beard suited his face and groomed it perfectly, there was not a hair out of place. I arrived just after opening. I was hoping to just walk in and get a cut. One hairdresser was cutting one guy’s hair. The owner I assume was on the phone, then diddling with papers and on his computer before giving me any attention. I was told the earliest I could get a cut was two hours later. The shop was dead quiet. I am not sure if they think they are that special. Simply will not be returning.
