Hair World is great. Been going there for probably 15 years. Gabriel the owner is the best... super down to earth and enjoyable to chat with. The place is always nice and clean and well equipped. They just moved across the street from where they previously were located and the new spot is even better then before. It’s super central and convenient. Prices are reasonable and the service is great! There’s lots of street parking which is really nice!! What more could you want??

Owner Rude, customer for 5 years will not go back Yes I am the guy whom you asked to move his 1/2 Ton truck,"you made it sound like I have a Semi. I felt bad about maybe missing the wording on the sign" Small cars only" so I went today and guess what!! The sign dosent say as you said " Clearly marked" small cars only and I took a picture if you want me to send it to you. I was going to apologize for my error but thought I would double check. All you needed to do was ask me nicely to park on the street and I would gladly have done so. PS: there was a half ton truck parked there today not blocking the alley so if you hurry you may be able to get them towed.

I've had mixed experiences here. I've been three times. I like the price and I like the fact I can just walk in. For me, the hours and location are very convenient too. However... I also had the strangest hair cut ever on my last visit. That was the first time I've ever sat down for a hair cut and not been asked what I wanted. She just got out the clippers and basically gave me a military special. I wasn't quite in shock... but I couldn't say anything. I actually thought it was funny. I've never had hair this short. It grows back, so whatever... but if you want a say in how your hair looks when you leave, you may want to stay clear. With that said, I've gone twice before and everything was fine. I suspect the man that owns the place is the reason they're usually busy. Each time I've gone, I worry that it will be a long time because there's 4 people in the chairs waiting, but then I feel special because I'm next (they're waiting for the man). The first two times I got the young girl (I think its his daughter) and she did a fine job. This last time I got another lady and, well... buzzzzzzz

Strangest hair cut ever! I guess the barber might be good but if you have long hair like me, the easiest hair to cut for a woman, stay away! The woman kept going on about how pretty my hair was and then proceeded to cut off six inches of it instead of the two I asked for. She also cut my bangs in the weirdest way I am still growing them out. Instead of a straight part for the bangs she just took a chunk and made bangs without making a part for them.

I've been a strictly high end salon person my whole adult life, but needed a tiny trim and wanted to save some money. I gave this place a shot and cannot believe that a $15 hair cut was the same quality as a $45 cut! Wayne is awesome, he had great tips for my hair and did exactly what I asked. I'll be going here from now on, the price can't be beat and the service was great. It's a bit run down but I don't go for the decor! Highly recommend.

Anyone complaining about parking is being totally childish. Hair World has only moved across the Road and parking is the same as it has been for the last 25 years that this place has been in business, in Westbank/West Kelowna. To this day still the same owners...

Absolutley ridiculously rude man who works there. The lady who works there is great at haircuts, and friendly. Unfortunately I will not be back. The man yelled at me and my very impressionable son in front of other customers because I couldn't find parking, and then proceeded to tell me I can park like 3 blocks away for all he cares, he is in a hurry to close and in other terms doesnt need my business... bad bad way to run a business.

My husband has been going to Hair World for 17 years. He went today and when he asked about parking in the back, the owner said the sign says no parking. Having been told this very rudely and with no parking anywhere he left. After 17 years he is now going elsewhere.
