The best I've had. Sara was amazing - she gave me a great cut and made me feel very welcome. All of the girls are amazing - and they create such a fun environment with their inclusive conversations between clients and staff members. I've seen some truly amazing cuts, styles and colours walking out of that door - everyone one of them with a smiling face underneath the hair. Absolutely the best salon in Kelowna. TARA gave me a very short hair cut for my hair that i didn't like ! The picture that i showed her was not similar. Also the hair color similar to my roots knowing that she said she will give me a chocolate brown and tone up the ends and she overcharged me for something that i hated. I would not recommend going there. I went back to crimson hair salon because Chris that used to work there gave me a nice hair cut and hair color but never again. Everything about my experience here was amazing. My stylist, Paris, made my dreams come true! I haven't gotten a haircut in over 2.5 years cause I have disliked all my previous ones and developed hair trust issues. Finally, out of all the hair salons in Kelowna, I found Paris! She even tied my hair mid dyeing it so I could make a quick trip to Wrap Zone next door haha! CHELSEA!!! Best tape in extensions install in forever! I came up from Seattle & have been struggling to find the right stylist for my coloring & extensions. She perfectly matched my extension color with her application to my roots. Not an easy feat considering I'm 100% stubborn grey & hard to get good root coverage on a good day. Her install was perfect, not too close to face margins so I can wear it up with no tapes showing & enough in to match my thin but abundant hair. Seamless blending. Beautiful. I will be coming up from Seattle to see her as my regular Boo. ????❤️❤️❤️ Thank you Chelsea ❤️❤️❤️

I had been a loyal customer of Tara’s for years, until recently, when an unfortunate incident occurred. I called and booked an appointment two months in advance. When I called to book the appointment, I spoke directly to Tara to make the booking. I told her that I was calling to book in advance because I was having a photo shoot done and needed to ensure she was available before I paid the deposit to the photographer. I booked in for a hair cut, color and style. After I booked with Tara, I booked with the photographer and paid a deposit. One week before my appointment, the receptionist called to say that she had no idea how my appointment had been booked as Tara had a camping trip planned that weekend and wasn’t available. She implied that Tara had had the vacation booked for a while. When I told her that I had booked the appointment with Tara directly, and had explained the importance of the appointment to Tara directly, she had nothing to say. What upset me the most is the fact that Tara, both as the stylist and as the owner of the salon, did not bother to call me to explain or apologize herself. If the booking was made in error, why did it take until a week before the appointment for me to receive a phone call? I can appreciate the fact that mistakes due happen, but I took the time to call and explain why the appointment was important to me and I booked it far in advance to avoid any issues. Does that not deserve some sort of an apology? What also upset me was the fact that I was not offered time with another stylist. I was simply told that Tara was not available, she would be camping, and that I had to reschedule. I asked the receptionist to convey how upset I was to Tara, and I still did not receive any further contact from the salon. So now I’m left scrambling to try to find another stylist on last minute notice or I lose my deposit for my photos. In my opinion, I received appalling customer service from Crimson Hair Salon given the circumstances.

I had an amazing experience at Crimson Salon! My hair went from darkly dyed to very blonde in late 2016. It was a shock and I quickly decided to dye it back to dark brown to try and salvage it's health. After over a year of not touching it with dyes or bleach and letting it grow out, I went to Roxy at Crimson to try and ease my way back into blonde. She did her first round of highlights/ balyage on my hair in Feb and I love it! It doesn't feel damaged and it looks amazing! I can't wait for my 2nd lightening appointment in May to just get it a little bit brighter for the summer! Thanks Roxy! xo

A friend mentioned Crimson Hair. when I went to the website, I was pleasantly surprised with the details on each stylist, and their reviews. I choose Robyn because she specialized in short hair. I am not disappointed, she is a razor wizard. Robyn made everything work, she did what I had been asking all previous stylists to do. I am very happy with this cut. Crimson Hair Salon is by far the best hair salon in Kelowna! When I first moved up from Vancouver I was super nervous about finding someone to trust with my hair - blonde can be tricky! Well then I met Roxy - She is by far the best blonde colorist I have EVER had! I have been going to Crimson religiously for the past 3 years and do not have enough good things to say. Absolutely appalling service at Crimson Hair Salon. Was asked to bump up my appointment 30 minutes earlier in order to ensure allotted time for my treatment. After arriving to the salon I was told that the hair dresser was “just finishing up with her current client”. I sat in their waiting room for 40 minutes... in that span of time no one addressed the fact that I was waiting longer than I should be ESPECIALLY considering that I was asked to come in early and waited past my original appointment time !? I am disgusted with this salon and would not recommend it to anyone.

I went and seen Chelsea today and wow, this girl is a magician. The salon is immaculate, welcoming and it even has the most comfortable hair washing stations I have been to and there's like this bulb in each station that comes onto of your head while you have colour on. You can tell they really care about their clients comfort. My hair grows in weird ways and Chels takes the time to not only to understand my hair but also make suggestions and still provide the perfect outcome. I'm a lifelong client of Chelseas and I'm so excited to find this place! 5 stars!

Next the stylist Mataya was absolutely fantastic, I gave her full control of the cut and she did not disappoint, which with my hair texture and style is easy to do. Robyn is the best! She is a whiz with the razor and gives my short, thick, coarse hair the texturizing it needs! She doesn't just cut your hair, she sculpts it. She is a very talented colourist as well. My haircuts and highlights grow out really, really well. By the time I need a haircut 6 weeks later, my hair is thick and heavy again, but it still has shape and style. To me, that is a sign of a good hairdresser. Thanks Robyn!

The stylist, Cutrina fried my hair off and then proceeded to look me up on instagram and block me. I specifically told her I wanted to keep the integrity of my hair. The owner was nice and tried to fix it but the damage was already done. I went to another salon in town (excel) and they couldn't believe the condition of my hair and that they even allowed me to leave with green tones in the areas that were lightened. After this horrifying experience I had to cut off 4 inches and spend additional money at another salon to bring back the health to my hair. On top of all of this another stylist at the salon tried to follow me on my social medias (who was in pictures with Cutrina). This shows how immature their staff is, I have never had such an awful experience at a salon in my entire life.
