Have been there 3 times, each time with a different hair stylist but have gotten good, overall results. To get the best cut, be specific. Remember which clipper attachment you like. 1 is shortest and 6 or 8 is the longest. Tell the stylist exactly where you want the sideburns, etc. Don"t be shy to tell them to leave something longer or make shorter. If a lot of adjustments, be sure to tip a little more for the trouble. Then remember that for next time.

I have been to this place like five times now. All those times I got different hair stylists. This last time I had the opportunity to get my hair done by Ariel. In previous occasions I always noticed that Ariel is very friendly to everyone and greets everybody with a smile. Having said that like I wrote previously never had a chance to get my hair done by her. Every since she did my hair everybody has been commenting on my hair. My wife said that it has been the best haircut I've ever had in Kamloops. She took her time and was very careful and methodical. I don't care about the price as long as I get good service and a professional hair style. I will definitely go back to Ariel. Keep the good work Ariel.

Amazing customer service. I went to them in concern to a terrible haircut I got that day at a different place to see if they could clean it up. They cleaned my hair up free of charge and gave me a free haircut voucher for next time I come back to get it fixed further. They completely made my day and I’m so grateful to whoever the kind lady was that helped me out. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place where they genuinely care about their customers and quality of haircut.

Had to get my haircut fixed. . they did well on my sons haircut though. Update: We were 3 minutes late for our son’s appointment and the stylist wanted to postpone our appointment. Three minutes late and you want to lose a client over that? Very disappointed in their decision. Bad business practice. Three minutes could have been made up easily. Rude!!! The stylist in particular was Savannah, whom has always done a good job but again, not impressed.

The young lady that did my hair was not very OCD & I had to point out multiple times spots where she had left hair long, even after I had showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted done before we started. She was very friendly but I think a bit more training may be necessary.

Was a little scared at first as a 20 something year old guy coming in here, as the clientele appears to be 90% post retirees, and moms with little kids, but my hairdresser did a solid job. As long as you make it super clear what you want done they seem to be able to get the task done. Wait was 25 mins or so, but for a walk-in only place, i'd say that's pretty darn fast. Price was also very cheap.

I called first to confirm whether or not my two year old son would be required to wear a mask, I was informed that ages 2 and under don’t need a mask and that whether or not you wear a mask is the customers choice. Based on the above information I booked my son an appointment for 2 hours after my initial phone call. We arrive and the lady asks if we have masks, so I explained my earlier phone call and the reason we chose to come to first choice was that masks aren’t required for ages 2 and under and that it’s the customers choice to wear one, but I’ll take one if it’s necessary. Stylist: “Well we only offer that service to 2 and under and he doesn’t look two” Me: My son is two years old would you like to see his ID? Stylist: Rolls her eyes and says “No it’s okay, but can we try to put the mask on him?” Me: “We can try if you want but I tried at home and he wouldn’t wear it, that’s why we came here.” Then she told me we needed to wait while she set up in the back because they don’t offer that service in the front. I didn’t mean to be a burden but once again I called and explained my situation and what we would require for my son’s appointment, and the person I spoke to made it seem like it wouldn’t be a problem. My son could sense her energy and ended up being scared and refusing to get his hair cut. As I was trying to calm my son down and we were getting ready to head out the door I was told, “it’s 1.50 for the mask” I was told that I wouldn’t need one, I have masks at home I would have brought with me if I needed to. Telling me that my son doesn’t look two and making me feel like we are the problem isn’t what I consider to be good customer service.

One of the reasons I've always used this chain is the ability to pop by and either get a haircut or come back another time when they're less busy. I get that COVID is making things difficult, but honesty is still important. While I was waiting for my cut, over the half hour I sat there, I heard them tell a dozen other people the same thing they told me. 5-10 minutes.

If i could give zero stars I absolutely would. I understand that compant policy is not to book hair cuts but i live over an hour from this loction and even called in the morning to try and attend the only hairdresser who can do the style id like(I have been told this by the other hairdressers at the location). I have now attended this location on 2 occasions being told they couldn't do the cut i wanted because the only person qualified is now all of a sudden booked for multiple hours. When asked to speak with me(as she is the assistant manager) i was brushed off. This was after trying to leave and having the lady at the till ask me to stay to speak to the her in the first place. I have used this company for quite sometime throughout muntipul cities and have never had an experience like this. They have always been respectful and helpful in locations such as the 2 in penticton and the multiple i have been into in kelowna and Vancouver. Im just very very dissappointed with the over all experience.
