yeah I said I was going to make review and I don't but I am now. Owner wasn't happy when we walked in because we all was little upset we had to wait out in the cold for someone to let us in. We had a appointment at 1:30 and got there at 1:20. no one was there. not even a mouse lol we all went in joking around and laughing. We listening to everything she had to say and the ones that don't want the gun its there choice if they want to back out. she asked few us to leave and come back in 20 min. so we did. I come back in and she take me in right away. but the lady that did the pricing was so nice and she let my friend come in the room. There was me and my friend left to pay. me and my mouth said oh through it was $65 but it $45 what a great deal. The owner jumped out of the chair and starting yelling and said you don't change them right. free pricing. well sorry that was not our bad she made a mistake. She asked us to go get the other and she yelled at me telling me to pay. ( April you need to pay) so I did. Then we went to go get the our friends and they was like nope. we all walked to our cars and the owning started running down the road. Then put her credit card through without asking. The way she talk to us. I will never go back there again.

Beautiful salon with comfy chairs and friendly, welcoming staff. Martin did my hair and did a superb job of picking tones and styling that works well for me. It was the first time I had been there for services and I look forward to returning!

We went here the morning of my sisters wedding to get our hair and makeup done. The lady who did my hair was wonderful and my hair looked amazing and stayed all night long. But the lady who does makeup, I don't think has any training or real experience in makeup. I asked for a certain look, and she told me that she could do it. She barely blended my eyeshadow and contour and she honestly just drew a line through my eyebrows, and then when it got to the eyeliner is when it really went bad. I asked for a small wing and the wings were completely different sizes and in different directions. One was square almost instead of pointed. I asked her to fix it three times and all times it looked terrible. I had to go back to the hotel earlier than the other bridesmaids just so I had time to fix my makeup myself. The quality of the makeup used isn't good and they also charge 10 bucks just to put on false eyelashes even if you brought your own. Would 100% recommend the hair stylists but if you're thinking of getting makeup done here, I think you might be better off doing your own. I wish I didn't pay so much for a rushed and bad makeup job. If it wasn't for the hair I would have given this only 1 star .

I've been here for pedicures twice now when we visit Jasper. The girls always do an awesome job and I especially love the paraffin wax treatment. A little bit pricey ($90+tip), but that's to be expected in Jasper. Clean and comfortable facility too. :)

The facial I received was relaxing and enjoyable. I ended up purchasing a recommended product for my troubled skin which cost 88 dollars. She said if I needed more, I could call them and they'd ship me more. When I got home, I searched for the same product on Amazon and it was 45 dollars! Over 40 dollars cheaper for the same product. I get that in Jasper things are pricier but double the cost? As much as I would love to support an Alberta based company, that's a rip off! Shame on you guys.

idk the "stylist" told me my hair was straight and wouldnt work with layers. (its not straight lol) i got given one long bowl cut n looked like lord farquad. did me dirty afs and then charged me some extra 35$ deposit?? forever my weirdest salon experience

Had my nails done in Banff about a month ago and the over all experience was pretty bad. Booked in with Kristy at Wild Orchid and she took my previously, botched nails, and did an amazing fill, completely turning the quality and appearance of my nails around! She answered all of my questions about the little details during the process and had no problem explaining the process she was doing. Left so happy and I highly recommend Kristy! She’s so sweet and truly cared about the client’s wishes.

The staff at Wild Orchid Salon & Spa are always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Upon entering the salon I am always greeted with a welcoming smile (even through their masks!). Nowadays, the staff ensures I am aware of all the new COVID policies, it's clear that they follow all protocols and take cleanliness very seriously. I particularly love the jade eye roller & the eye mask I purchased from their little retail shop. Highly recommend the team at Wild Orchid for your everyday or event needs!

I went in for a men's haircut from one of their apprentices. She was helpful but was taking a long time. After half an hour, a senior employee intervened. Then another employee. After 75 minutes, the owner stepped in and wrapped it up. It was the longest haircut ever, but also one of the best. I appreciated their dedication to being sure I got a good haircut, even if it took a village.

Edit to add: we were told to show up 15 minutes early hence us being on time. Secondly I opted out of getting it done as the gun is not proper technique. Thirdly we all left nicely when you said too many people where in the store. Lastly the only one being rude was you. Oh and also it's illegal to charge someone's credit card without authorization, but don't worry she will be talking to her bank about it. If I could give 0 stars I would. First off they had a will return sign on their door at the time of our appt and let us stand out in the cold for 20 minutes after our appt time. Secondly the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. When we asked her questions(about services she offers) she said I don't know I just own the place in a condescending tone. She was extremely rude to one of my friends and excused her behavior as it's covid. She also chased someone down the street after they paid. Oh and don't give your credit card number to her as she will charge it without your permission for mistakes she made. Plus they pierce noses with a gun. Anyone who knows piercings knows this is the worst thing to pierce with. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. To the owner, you should be ashamed of how you act. Take a professionalism course or at least learn about your buisness.

Pedicure was ok. I was originally supposed to have an appointment at 430 and ended up not getting in until 5. ( they did call to reschedule twice so the heads up was nice). I don't know if it was just a busy day for them or if something else was going on that day but it was just a bad vibes from the minute we got through the door. The lady doing my friends pedicure beside me would not stop talking about how much she hated the smell of the lotion I had chosen which just made me feel uncomfortable the whole time. Plus we just heard a lot of gossip from other staff in other rooms while we were in the chair. Overall just a wierd experience.

The people who work here are pretty friendly. Nadia, the owner, builds very good relationships with her local clients. The manager, Hilary makes you feel very welcomed from the moment you step into the salon. Taylor did a nice job with the Mani and pedi. However I did feel like there were at least 3 sales pitch during my time here where I was offered more things I could pay for. It wasn't pushy, but it was very obvious when she offered them like a tv commercial. I was surprised by additional fees at the end of my visit. $2 for an eco fee and $1.50 for the mask they make you change into when you enter the store. Small fees, but fees that weren't on their website and weren't explained to me at the time of booking after confirming pricing. It's a good place to come to relax and unwind. Make sure you bring footwear that's opened toe because the type of nail polish they use dries very slowly (at least 2 hours)

The pedicure was just ok, especially for the cost, compared to what I can get in Calgary for lesser cost. But the aesthetician was very nice. My biggest issue is that they force you to change your mask at the door, despite having come in with one, then charge you an overpriced fee for the mask?? I get that you may want to protect your staff by having all clients put on a fresh mask, but then the onus falls on your business to cover the cost of that, not on me as a consumer who came in with my own, new mask. Very frustrating business practice.

I went here to get my brows and lashes tinted today. And the lady told me that it would only last 2 weeks after she finished. But when I looked online it said it lasts 4 weeks. And I paid 69$ to get it done. My friend went to Mountain Wellness Day Spa the same day to get the same thing done and she was only charged $50 and they also waxed her brows for free. They told her the tint will last 4 weeks. And hers looked way better than mine. I feel like I got ripped off. I got charged 20$ more than my friend, hers looked better and will last twice as long. I will not be going back to Wild Orchard. I would give it one star but the staff were friendly so that is the only good point.

It is a lovely salon. Looking around they have a very nice lay out with a lovely sitting area in the back which we enjoyed with our mimosas ($15/each wow). But I got to be honest I was disappointed by the time we left. I did book a bridal group, my mother and maid of honor to get hair and make up from here. My mother was not impressed by her hair as the hairdresser didn't really do the hair style my mother showed her. Which was wavy curls with her hair down, the girl backcombed the whole top of her head than curled the bottom which gave my mom a weird transition from the top to the bottom. She pretty much restarted as my mother was not happy with the result. For my maid of honor her hair was done great and very detailed in all the curls as her hair is a bit short in the back. Also her make up looks great. For myself as the bride I was a little surprised the directions the hair dresser went with my hair, kind of doing the same as my mom with backcombing and tiny curls.. But that's not what upset me... What bothered me for the end is my hair is very short, short all around but with length on the top (like 3 inches). I asked for the salons help to secure my veil, they never gave me a quote for doing it as they wanted to see my hair in person (so day of the wedding) Anyways the cost to do their hair was $90-$100 each.. ok fine but to charge me $75 to put my veil in which was 5 bobby pins and hair spray. I was only in the chair for like 15 mins... But somehow my mother and maid of honor in their chair for at least a hour with shoulder length hair cost roughly the same? Honestly it was very shocking to me because she must of put like barely 10 curls in my hair and 15 mins.... I would of said something the day of but we were already 15 mins late to my own make up appointment and we really needed to leave.

Friendly and professional service! Rayne fixes me up every time I go in for a deep-tissue massage, and the hair dressers have been able to handle the rat's nest I walk in with. They offer wine and cocktails to guests and also have a very relaxing waiting area at the back.
