I stopped in for a hair cut for my son, on a whim. I’ve been to many other places to get his hair done, and they truly went over the top! I was so impressed with his hair I couldn’t stop saying how handsome my little man was. Everyone seen his hair and couldn’t agree more. Wonderful place, very nice staff! Now my husband wants to check them out. Im going back for another hair cut before school his first day of school. Or the way his hair grows might be sooner :) Wonderful job!

Went in asked for a cut for a faux hawk, and a line up. My hair is no where near even line up is bad and to top it off i paid 35 for it and then had to get it fixed. Total waste of time and money never will go back and dont recommend the over priced service

I love this place and its staff. I've been going to Jay for years and followed him when he joined the City Barbershop. Since I've been going here, I've been very happy. It's a locally owned barbershop in a great area and the staff is super helpful. One of them even helped me to throw the top on my Jeep when it started raining during my appointment. Now THAT's going above and beyond!

All the barbers here take their time and pride themselves in quality and customer satisfaction. I have been here countless times and have never had a concern towards the quality of my haircut, the sterilization of the tools being used or the cleanliness of the shop in general. Wait time is the only part I dislike, but that’s due to the large amounts of people wanting to get quality cuts. Every barber tries their best to achieve satisfaction and I’m fully impressed by it.

After trying a number of barbers in Windsor I have found my go-to place. My haircut is neat, tidy, and modern regardless of l which member of the staff cuts it. When you find your favourite guy, you can book your appointment online. The system sends you reminders, and even at the end of the day appointments are rarely delayed. They do all the advanced men's grooming stuff, but because I only need a haircut I'm typically out of there in 15 to 20 minutes. Great place!

Amhed is a trendy young guy that has more than a few cuts under his belt and after 2 months being back in Windsor has claimed the "Best Fade" in town. Having a haircut and Hot towel shave felt like an afternoon blessing. Bring my 5 Yr old Boy "Ty" for a new cut from Amhed was also top notch, Ty will now support the best cut/Fade in his school ! Amhed understands the needs of children and adjusted to Ty's needs ! I cant thank you enough ! this is now going to be a "Guys Day" for my son and I every month ! If any persons that had barbers from The Barbers Chair at Devonshire Mall that are not there any more and are disappointed and tired of trying to find the right cut across the city, check in for them at The City Barbershop. I was heart broken to find out Carol had left and was shocked and ecstatic to find her again at this location, don't break my heart again, Carol. Great barbers are hard to come by especially ones with charming personalities that hold natural skill with a pair of clippers and scissors for a non-rushed, clean, polished look.

Was just there yesterday, August 19th. Got two haircuts for my boys and my husband got the hot towel shave. WOW! WOW! WOW! We absolutely love this place, it's VERY neat and clean, spacious, staff is friendly and polite and they take their time with you to make sure you get the look you want. Ahmed did an excellent cut on my boys (5 and 13). He actually fixed my older sons haircut he recently got a week ago elsewhere. He knew what he was going for and did EXACTLY that, my son was smiling because he got the cut he's been wanting. We are from out of town and this place was a recommendation and I'm so glad we went there. We will definitely be coming here again when we come back in a few months.

First very expensive price My husband and I had been travelling for 7 months and he was really looking forward to a professional hair cut. We chose this place after seeing all the great reviews. who cut his hair was unfriendly and unhelpful. We tried to make small chat but he wasn't interested. When we asked for advice on the best way to style and cut his hair whilst it is growing out, he just shrugged her shoulders and said it depends. He had no desire to provide us with any advice or guidance. He ended up with a shorter version of what he already had. It was a disappointing experience. we were just expecting a higher level of service and interaction after reading all the reviews.

Where to start. Ahmed was my barber. If I could give more stars I would. I’ve seen a lot of barbers and consistently had my beard messed up and looking worse, but not today my friends. He was very pleasant to talk to. Had a hot shave unbelievable how good he was. But the true 5 stars was how well he did on my beard. Had it for 5/6 years now and hands down best trim!! Wish he was back in Edmonton so I could be a regular. Again unbelievable work, good job guys

Drove 15 minutes to get my son a haircut and literally waited an hour for nothing! We weren't greeted, weren't asked if we needed anything. Nothing. People kept coming in after we had and were selected to go next. Not sure if they had appointments, but surely not everyone who came in did. Plain and simple we were ignored even though we waited patiently.Very unprofessional work ethics. Not a warm and fuzzy feeling. Couldn't get my son edge up right. Looked terrible. My son even asked them to fix it and after the second attempt it didn't look any better. It was so uneven. His hair is very easy to cut. I have to admit we were not impressed. I really don't like giving one star reviews. If you are a barber you need to pay more attention to detail or take classes to sharpen your skills. That's not a good way to build up a good clientele when your client has to go see another barber to fix what they paid for you to do.

First time going to an actual barber shop was at The City Barbershop. I was sent by my brother to see Justin and my lord was I ever impressed. Friendly conversation, he paid extreme attention to detail, and even when I was indecisive with my choice of haircut he had no issue with me going back and going shorter than I originally asked. Justin isn't the only good barber either. I went in as a walk-in the last time I was in and I was nervous after seeing only Justin and I was amazed at that experience as well. I recommend ANYONE to go here!

Walked in, was told to put my name and phone number down. Within 10 minutes, I was texted "Your turn is almost up, be here in 5 minutes." So I stayed. I ended up waiting an hour after then. No indication the wait would be that long. I was even told I'd be up soon, then waiting even more. No discount, barely an apology, nothing. The haircut was nice! Although that took 40 minutes too. Just... just help me out. I could have come back. Or I could have made an appointment. People with appointments kept walking in, like let me know if I'm going to wait over an hour in the middle of the the day.
