For my first haircut in Ottawa I went to Salon Rouge. They charged 29$ for a fade. They did a good job but the price was just too high. Paulo cut my hair for my second haircut and he did a better job on top of only charging 16.95. If you want a good fade go to Paulo. Also the cut was very quick and did not take too long at all.

Most skilled and experienced barber, Paulo is definitely one of the best barber in the byward market with offering the right price for the desired cut. I wanted to try a new salon and came across Paulo’s shop. I read the reviews online and felt positive to try it out. I’m super happy with his service and the hair cut. Super efficient and quick (His hands are just fast and nothing like he rushes. He gives full attention and time to the clients). He is mostly is booked for the week but also offers walk-ins. I walked in and just had to wait about 15-20 mins ( average wait time) between his appointments. My new salon routine shop! If you are looking out for a new barber, Paulo’s got your hair done right!

If you're looking for a good haircut with a good price and timely manner, it's your place to go to! Paulo is nice and punctual. When I went there, he was working alone, so he had to stop to answer the phone for appointments or requests (which I understand - the man is working hard). Was a bit cold inside. Good fade though. Did a fantastic job. It was 11:30 pm and I needed a haircut for the next day, as I was supposed to be at a ceremony with the Governor General. I had been getting my hair cut from my barber back at home for years. Would a barber from here know how to make me look half decent? The panick and struggle was real. Luckily, I was able to book an appointment online with Paulo at 9:00 am the next morning (stress releif), but would he know how to make my hair looks stellar? Paulo did not disappoint. He took me earlier than the appointment time and did a fantastic job. If I ever come back to Ottawa and need a haircut, I am going to Paulo. Highly recommend!!!
