It is very difficult to come around a amazing barber like this in Ottawa. Mario is very friendly has a particular sense of humour that will make you feel very reassured in the chair. He’s easy going and cut like a pro. Every person came out with a exceptional cut if you’re a fan of skin fades don’t go anywhere else. Price is very satisfying and the energy inside this shop is comforting for me to make this my permanent barber. 10/10

It was my first cut in Ottawa and he did an excellent job while still being very charismatic. The barbershop was very nice inside and while you're getting a cut, there is music playing as well as a tv to watch. Definitely recommend!

I liked my previous hair so I asked him to trim my hair a bit but he ruined it... He basically shaved my head and it was extremely disappointing. Poor quality, constant 69 language, not on time, not professional at all. Not sure how this place got multiple good reviews but I assume that it's manipulated. Just stay away.

We recently moved to Ottawa and live in Sandy Hill. Out walking, during the shutdown, I noticed the business Mario Cuts. I made a mental note to check him out when things reopened. Knowing my sideburns had become too long and overgrown, I popped in and asked Mario if he could give me the service I required. He had one person in the chair and one waiting. That immediately told me he was in demand and had a good customer base. He was very polite and professional and said he could give me the service desired and said I could wait or come back later. He also took the time to ask me my name. I chose to return later when he was finishing a cut for a University of Ottawa student. He greeted me, remembering my first name, and ushered me to sit and wait in a very comfortable leather chair. While listening to the music playing (let’s call it the Mario Mix) I saw the flare, talent and passion this young man has for his chosen profession. The U.of O. student was very pleased with his cut and a client who obviously had a long history with Mario as he left saying, “see you in December!” I was very pleased also with the service Mario provided for me in taking care of my sideburns. There is a joy and positive vibe from Mario that is very contagious. Like many others in the service industry this has been a tough last 18 months for Mario, but he is looking ahead not in the rearview mirror. Whether you are a University student or my age (70) you couldn’t put your hair (on your head or face) in better hands than with Mario! I certainly will be returning ! Thanks Mario!
