Chaker has been my barber for many years now, and each time I get my haircut with him I feel good about myself, externally and internally. I live and work in the west, but still find the time to go to downtown to get a haircut there.

I had a good experience here. Did not have to wait long. The gentleman who cut my hair was pleasant and had a keen attention to what I wanted in my haircut. They seemed eager to please, and when I left they gave me information of things to do in the area. Prices seem fair. There is wifi and a TV for something to watch while waiting.

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I came here 10 min before 10am, when they say they open. It's now 10:19 as I'm writing this and no one is here (it's cold out by the way) . They say walk ins welcome so I didn't make an appointment. If you're running a business, my philosophy is: early is on time, on time is late and late is unacceptable. I'd really like to give these guys another shot sometime. Hope it's not a regular thing

There are a few barbers that work here which means you see a familiar face every time you go in. They always have great conversation, and if that's not your thing - they always have a football/soccer game on. The prices are very fair for the service and little extras they do (like the mini vacuum to remove the small little hairs that itch after a cut). I work around the corner and go every month for a trim.

I went in on a Saturday morning and there was only one gentleman working. That would be perfectly fine, as it looked like the current haircut was just about complete. There was only one person waiting ahead of me so I waited; I waited 40 minutes and he still wasn't done that first cut. It sounds like he has his legions of followers, but I think he could drive a little more business if he worked a little faster. 15-20 minutes/head is all you need. Otherwise, it sounds like he does a good job, I just didn't have 2 hours to waste.

The barber shop I have been looking for. I am always unsatisfied when I go to barbershops, they charge me 25 dollars + tip and tax, my hair cut lasts for 5 - 10 minutes and the atmosphere is ok. On the other hand, Jado you are first welcomed with classy leather comfortable seats, water to drink, magazines and newspaper to read and a TV in the waiting area. Last time I was there they had jazz music in the background, beautiful. You can tell the place is very clean. My hair cut took 30 - 40 minutes long, my barber Hamza was so attentive and professional, he made sure my hair was perfect everywhere. After all, the price was fair. I definitely recommend you give Jado a try if you are in town. Have a wonderful day.

This has been my go-to barber for the last few months. The two guys who work here are great at what they do! Complementary beverages, friendly people, online bookings, etc. Prices are are average but not competitive. Walk-ins make it perfect for those who work or live on Bank Street. Shaq is a great barber, but I needed a last minute cut and had to use a recent hire who did a rough job - haircut was chunky, and even with paste left hair at the crown of the head standing straight up. Disappointing and would not recommend.

I have noticed it's been getting busier recently but they seem to struggle to find a 2nd barber outside of Shaq; leads to some walk-ins being turned away. Recommend making an appointment for sure.

I first went there when I used to live in downtown and used to go to their original Cooper Street location Although I live and work far from dt now, I still make my way once to their bank street location at least once a month. Went to Jado for the first time based on Google reviews. My initial impression was that of an upscale barber shop. Everything was new-looking and clean. Even though I was a walk-in, I recieved service immediately. My barber was Ali, and I was nothing short of impressed by his work. All in all, they've got themselves a return customer for sure.

Terrible service. Witnessed the owner tell someone off unprofessionally because they came 4 mins late to their appointment. The tools were not clean at all and you can easily see all the hair in an around the station that was there from previous clients. The health inspector definitely needs to pay this “barbershop” a visit! The barbercide needed barbercide. What made me laugh was the vaccum which was used to wipe the hair off of your head and the dirty zebra capes! The owner is very arrogant as I overheard him repeatedly saying he is a master barber to the clients. Also they do not use straight razors within the haircut. The haircut was basic to say the least, as you can still see lines made from the clipper guard within the fade. From what I saw, the clientele was all old men. Save yourself and go pay for a quality cut elsewhere. I’m surprised that this place has good reviews, obviously these people have never experienced a real barbershop before or they’re all fake.

Bro....I came in when it wasn't busy. I got sat right away which was nice, but my barber looked a little fresh. Like he was new. The other barber asked him if he was ok with cutting my hair. That should of been my first red flag. Everytime he showed me my hair with the rear mirror there were so many flaws. Bro if you cant cut hair don't say "yes" when I ask if you can. I even brought a picture. Being a pretty calm dude I walked it off considering my hair grows back fast. The man couldn't even focus, he switched up like 6 times. Went to my line up to the fade to the back and back to the fade and line up again. His whole demeanor look confused. Left fade is just skin and the right is barely touched. Honestly...dont let n****s practise on customers alone. Ima get so much heat from the homies now. Thank ya'll. I'm never going back
