To me the price point for such animated and outstanding service is perfect. This is my 3rd visit and I plan on giving them my business as long as they are around.

I've been working on a full beard for 6 months and went in for some shaping and a trim. Atmosphere was amazing. Felt pampered and like I was in a 1970s boys club barber shop. Got a great trim, really good advice for growing it out, great service and will be back monthly. Book an appointment and don't look back, you won't be disappointed. Don't grow a nasty beard like 70% of the guys out there. Give it some love and keep it tight. ????????????????

Super cool guys! Were really accommodating when we ran into traffic along the way. Easygoing shop with such a cool aesthetic and a pretty big array of products for sale. I got the worse haircut of my life here and it cost me the most money I've had to pay for a haircut ($50). The service was good until they assigned me to an old folk to give me the haircut. At the end the clerk was almost laughing at haircut. That was my experience.

The only place I will go to cut my hair and beard. The guys are all highly skilled and their level of customer service is second to none. The wait to be served is always short and conversation and banter flows throughout. I would recommend calling ahead and making an appointment as they are usually fully booked and walk ins, while accepted, are not always able to be served. Their prices are similar to other barber shops and in comparison to the service provided, this makes it a bargain. I absolutely recommend.

Dropped in this morning for a straight razor shave. I've had them at Imperial before but this one was better, faster and much cheaper than there. John even made sure I got the military discount for being a veteran. Thank John.....job well done!

This spot is a gem. I booked a super last minute shave and a cut - which was no problem. The staff are lovely and entertaining but they still maintain the right amount of professionalism. Chris brought my look back to life with a masterful straight-blade shave and a free-hand scissor trim. If you're looking for a casual barbershop with excellent service and a decent price, I'd highly recommend House of Barron's on Sussex. The only suggestion - accept tips through card transactions. I wanted to give Chris a tip but instead, I bought some of his premium beard oil - which is dope.

Barbers were to busy having there own private conversations to hear what I wanted resulting in me having to shave my head now. Complete Waste of $45. Also nothing special at all about this place then any other barber, except other barbers are cheaper and actually listen to what you want.

I showed up to get a haircut and the barbers were outside smoking weed in front of the shop!! I was not greeted from any barbers nor was the shop clean. The music is not professional nor are the staff. 40 plus dollars for a haircut and a terrible experience. There are much better options downtown. Stay away from this place!!!

Since I have moved to Ottawa, I’ve gone to many places and tried couples of barbershop Dep, Imperial, Capital, Rideau ... But House of Barons is by far the best one. There are very welcoming, and follow safety mesures for Covid-19. My barber is John, not only that he make sure is client are satisfied but also very consistent with haircut. I definitely recommend this place!

Called the shop right at opening to try to make an appointment, couldn't get through. Drove down there to walk in instead. Walked in to the shop, not realizing that they were "closed" for a private event. My fault. The woman at the cash said that they were closed and to come back at 11. I went and walked around and sat on the bench outside until 11, waiting for them to change the sign to say open. At 11:10, the sign still said closed so I decided to go back to the store to see if they would allow me in. When I went in, the woman said that the earliest appointment was at 1 and to come back then. Seriously? I sat outside for 45 minutes because you said to come back at 11 and now you want me to sit outside and wait another 2 hours? Why not have told me that right from the start? If you don't take walk ins, don't advertise that you do. If you don't want customers, don't tell me to come back, just close the doors. And maybe you should be validating parking if you are going to waste people's time like that.
