Shaved my sideburns, which would be fine except I have a beard. Now my beard starts at my jaw- didn’t know that was the style now. Have to shave my beard. Asked for a tapered back, not sure they knew what that was. I am bald, should’ve been a simple cut. Will be going somewhere to get this fixed. The lady was nice, unfortunately it was a horrible haircut.

Nice shop, friendly Barber but missed mark on haircut. Once I was in chair I am committed. Asked for same style just shorter my and clean #2 around my ears Ended up with my first crew cut With #2 all around and longer standing on top. Its hair so its literally growing on me. The guy before me seemed happy.

First time at this barbershop and I was really impressed with the level of service. I showed Fikri (the barber and owner) some pictures and we talked about how certain hair styles won't work for me. It felt like a collaborative process and I really appreciate the advice and suggestions he gave. I definitely recommend this place; it's a hidden gem downtown.

Very convenient location. Not impressed with the cut. It may not be the worst haircut, but it is not what I requested. I specified short on the sides and long on top and came out with short all around. Practically a buzzcut and next to no differentiation in length between the sides and the top. Nearly impossible to continue doing a proper side part look. Will not be returning here. In response to your reply, I had mentioned specifically that I wanted it to be a lot longer on the top than the sides. My issue is with the extremely short length that you cut it at the top. I understand that you may have been uncertain based on my description or not knowing me, but in that case you should have stopped before cutting it all so quickly and asked. When you reached the top you cut so much and moved so quickly that it was not possible for me to stop you as there was already not enough hair for the cut I was describing. You definitely do have an interest in giving your clients the cut that they want. In order to do that, you need to understand what they want. In your case, you just guessed.

Worst hair cut experience I’ve ever had. I read all the reviews and thought this would be a good place to go in the neighbourhood for a haircut. The two guys everyone has mentioned in previous reviews seem like they would have done a good job. The lady working when I went seemed like she had never cut hair before. I called earlier in the day to make an appointment for 2pm. When I arrived she was packing up (she had forgot about my appointment) saying she was heading over to the other location if I could drive there she would cut my hair there. I said no this location works better for me. She then proceeded to give one of the roughest haircuts I’ve ever had, scraping the back of my neck with the trimmer it felt like she was trying to trim my skin off. There was no real styling or technique to the whole process and I really felt uncomfortable. When she went to fix up my hair at the end, brush/comb and style it a bit I was horrified to notice she was using a brush full of other peoples hair. Disgusting. Will not be returning because of this experience, even though I hoped to give it a good chance because of good reviews and being close to home.

I've been getting my hair cut here pretty much since they opened. Fikri the owner has been cutting hair for many years (some famous Ottawa heads. Ask him...) and is pleasant and professional. Great to have them in the neighborhood!

Been here a few times, the owner Fikri does a great job but his right hand man Hamza does not. If you are going in and see Hamza by himself, walk right out. He doesn't listen at all. Cut my hair way too short. Really frustrating experience. Will not be back.
