I struggled for the longest time with finding a reliable barbershop in the St.Catharines area, especially as a man of middle eastern decent, however this is the place. I've been coming here since around the time they opened and they always have been professional, friendly, and most importantly, have given good haircuts. Every barber there is amazing and does a great job, but when you book your appointment, ask for Sam. The atmosphere is spotless as well, with clean floors and walls along with a positive vibe. Overall this is a beautiful barbershop and I would recommend it to everyone I know.

We all make sacrifices and attempt or try to give another Barber your dollar and trust, please save yourself the humiliation and time and do not come here. They have all the right tools and equipment, but no clue how to use it, I asked for a Number 4 and scissor the top with some length left. I ended up with a Number 1 with a military 90s flat top? Not sure if barber knew inches well or if he just plainly disregarded what I asked and went with his own gut feeling on how it should be(clearly this). Going into work was pretty well embarrassing as the cut does not even match my head shape. I will give them 2 stars for being accepting during the pandemic prior to the lockdown, otherwise highly recommend not coming here if you know what a good haircut already is, apologies but customer lost here.

I met the owner of this shop, Alla, when he was cutting hair at another local shop 6 yrs ago. Have been going to see him since, very proud of what he's done with his business he started a couple of years ago now. Top notch barbers, very clean environment, great location! Always service with a smile here. The barbers give the newest , trendiest haircuts as well. I always recommend this shop to anyone who is looking.

It was a pleasant surprise to learn that my barber was a Syrian Refugee that had landed in Canada only 2 months prior. It was an excellent experience. My barber (Sam) was meticulous. Easily the best haircut and beard trim I've had since moving to St. Catharines. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the careful, unhurried approach. I will return.

I don't know if that is happened to me only or someone else as well but you guys need to hire trained barbers not just someone who doesn't know anything about hair cutting. After 3 months of lockdwon I got hair cut for some fresh look but that is what I got. Barber there doesn't even know what is fade cut and he cut all my hair from back not even straight line very very disappointed with the service. I was not getting appointment at my regular barber shop where I usuall go so I checked on google and saw that they have 4.9 stars but this is not 4.9 star barber shop I don't even give them 1star. And they charge $33 for this hair cut I can do better than this at home.

I recently moved to St Catharines. While banking at the plaza I noticed Martindale Barber Shop. The next day I called and spoke to Ala, the owner and made an appointment. Very clean, modern, professional shop. Ala is very friendly and did an excellent job on my hair! The hours are great, lots of parking. I have been back 5 times since and my haircut is always perfect. This is my new barber shop and I would recommend them to anyone.
