I go here for my tattoos and the staff there never fail to make you feel at home and at ease. Super friendly and most importantly they know what they are doing. First experience was everything you want from a barbershop. Great conversations, atmosphere was planned out for that classic shop style that you can feel encourages positive moments. The cut was on point, gave me what I wanted but also added a little twist of Soules touch and confidence. ALSO...these guys are making their own products, I got the beard oil and pomade, it's friggin sweet.

I've been going here regularly to get my hair cut and couldn't be happier with the quality of service I've received in the time since I've started. I've been going to Soules since before they moved, and I always come out absolutely satisfied with my haircut walking out. It's a great no-nonsense barbershop where you can have great conversation and get a great haircut for a steal of a price. Highly recommended to any guy that is unhappy with their current hairdresser or anyone that's looking for a change.

I have used this shop more then once for some of my many tattoos. When they first opened up I was one of there first few customers, and back then they were a bit scrambled but very friendly and willing to help. Well a year later and it is still the very friendly shop I remeber, now tho they are very organized and have some of the best artists in town. $25 for the worst haircut I've ever had. If I could give a ZERO I would. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My friend was thinking of trying them until he saw my haircut. My sides and back are all uneven, one sideburn was cut the other wasn't, the cut around my ears...the right is cut really high and the left isn't even. The guy I had was far more interested in the conversation about the other "barber's" house construction then he was about my hair. AVOID THIS PLACE...ITS A CHOPSHOP FOR HAIR. stick to a real Barber.

My boyfriend came home from the barber looking like a beginner barber cut his hair. His beard is cut shorter on one side, there are longer hairs than others around his ears, and there is redness from the clippers at the back of the neck. I usually only review a business when it's a positive experience but sir, please pay attention while you are cutting hair. Or, there's nothing wrong with taking more barber classes to improve your skills. My boyfriend informed me this was the owner cutting his hair. Very disappointing.

We won a gift certificate for this shop. Maybe if we paid we would have gotten better service. I have never seen my husband's hair look so disgusting! Mismatched hair lengths throughout Red marks all over his neck from what you call a beard trim. And to think I was actually going to bring my son in there, not a chance!

Don't waste your time. Sign said they were open, but once I walked inside there was no one there to cut my hair. People were in the back doing tattoos but none of them even let me know what was going on. Sat there for 15 minutes before leaving.

Booked a appointment with a tattoo artist and as I was getting tattooed the shop owner decided bebecaus it was a little cold outside that he would smoke a cigar no more then 30 feet from me and it's not like I could have just got up and walked out mid session I think that he needs the health board to walk in as hes smoking I would never recommended this shop to anyone absolutely disgusting and disrespectful shows he doesn't give to bits about his customers

Looks cool...but thats all. I went for a hair cut ended up leaving with cuts all on the back of my neck. Hair cut nothing special. You dont even face the mirror when he cuts your hair. No way to know or say anything. You cant see whats going on....he is to busy chatting with his friends. On my 2nd trial it was the same again... i tried can not support this place.

This guy is shady and a bully. Here in Hamilton everybody knows everybody so to treat a customer as badly as this guy did means he doesn't care about his business or his clients. The majority of these five star reviews are his friends and don't even go to him anymore.

Sadly, my husbands favourite barber closed down last month, so he has been forced to find somewhere new. Being that Soules is closest to our house, and looked decent he tried it out. Not only did the man cutting his hair talk about how women have no place cutting hair, but he managed to trim his cowlick so short that it now sticks straight up. Who doesn't want to look like Dennis the Menace when you are a 40 year old man?? Somehow the "barber" decided to trim the back, making the hairline a straight line - gross!
