They advertise that they are closed at 7pm. I showed up at 6:30pm and asked for a buzzcut. The first employee who approached me at the door asked if I had an appointment. I did not have one. He told me they could not due to closing at 7pm. One of the other employees asked the cashier to help me after over hearing I assume. I had the same conversation with her as the first, with her replying they were closing in 10 minutes. There was another shop a few steps away that also closed at 7pm. I walked in and asked for a buzzcut and the lady there accepted, with her reason being my type of haircut is quick. I was out of her shop at 6:45pm I do realize that employees want to leave right at closing time and especially on a saturday night. But I choose this location due to the google review of them. I strongly disagree with it now

Rowaid has been my barber for about 10 years now. I’ve changed my hairstyle a few times and he is more than capable with scissors & razors... he is a barber in every sense, not JUST a fade master. In addition, When I’ve decided to walk in and get cut with one of his other barbers I’ve always been equally satisfied. He holds his staff to a high standard. Highly recommend booking in advance, and show up on time.

Hello, I would like to share some comments regarding my experience with King Kutz in Hamilton. I have been coming here for approximately two years. I am very particular about my hair and beard and there is not many barbers who are skilled enough to cut the very thick and coarse hair that I happen to have...it is always a long and arduous process to find a good barber. I happen to hear about King Kutz when my wife saw someone at her job with an amazing line up and beard and she asked him where he goes...he said King Kutz...so I decided to give them a try...and I will say this: they are some of the most skilled barbers I have ever seen. I say this without a hint of ego, exaggeration or embellishment...they are literally the best barbers I have ever been to...I must give a very special shout out to my barber Rowad, the owner...he has always treated me with the utmost of respect and ensured his staff are always courteous to everyone in the shop...in case you do not believe this, allow me to explain another crucial point. I live in Toronto....where there is hundreds if not thousands of choices for barbers...yet I still drive 45mins each way to go to King Kutz. If that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know, then there is nothing more I can tell you. If you are considering trying them, don’t hesitate, try them. You will not be disappointed. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment, I hope to see you there. Cheers.

Best barbershop in Hamilton for a fresh cut! Make sure you call for an appointment as they can get very busy. I have been cutting my hair at King Kutz since 2011. I had hair cut from Rowaid, Ronaldo, and Alan. I would recommend all of them but special mention to Rowaid. This guy helps you to decide what hair style you should go for. Amazing barbers, good music, and you'll always have a good time. I'd give him 10 out of 5 stars if Google would let me.

Came here because my usual barber is closed on mondays and I needed a cut. They are very unprofessional, consistently talk in a foreign language, pay 0 attention to your hair and generally seem like they dont care about detail whatsoever. He was cutting my hair while looking away and chatting.... Guy working the desk just randomly started spraying cologne as air freshner around the place. They just hack your hair off and send you out the door. Definitely not a place to come if youre looking for attention to detail, they dont even use shaving cream which leaves your skin burning. They use towels to remove cut hair from your head, very unusual. My haircut is now uneven, which will have to be fixed by my main barber. The other reviews are incredibly misleading. Never coming back. I would be hesistant to visit here.

I dealt with the owner Rowaid and, putting it lightly - this experience was much more then a hair cut. This gentleman is celebrating 8 years in business (congrats!) and understandably so. The customer service - 10/10, the conversation, knowing I'm new to town - 10/10. The staff and how they interacted with one another - 10/10. The price for what was done is UNBELIEVABLE. I cannot believe these guys charge so little for the job they do! I expected $60-70 prices given the results. No wonder they're all over the newspaper year after year for their ongoing success! This place was, without question - THE BEST haircut experience I've ever experienced. I highly recommend checking in.... The convenience of booking was also seemless. Make sure you book now as I've been told they're getting booked solid due to covid-19. Way to go Rowaid. See you in a couple weeks!

Probably the worst barber shop I've been to. They have a couple of guys, but only two can actually cut hair to an acceptable level. The guys who can cut hair rush through the cut and don't ask you if you want something before they do it. I came in for a beard line up + hair cut, the hair cut was acceptable, not angry at it, but also not happy with it. I asked the barber to shape up my beard and get rid of fly-away hairs, this guy went through my beard with a guard and completely butchered it. Overall, the cut was alright, but nothing special, but they have no idea what they're doing with a beard, I got home and saw it wasn't even lined up properly. Furthermore, they are overpriced for the services provided, it was $30 for my beard + cut without the tip. Only giving 2 stars for the haircut, do not recommend this place at all. If you want a more knowledgeable barber I recommend Uppercuts, or iFresh Cuts. DO NOT BE MISLED BY OTHER REVIEWS, THERE ARE MUCH BETTER PLACES TO GET A HAIRCUT.

I’ve had my hair butchered the past couple years by other barbers, plus I’d have never considered, as a black man, anyone who is not of African decent touch my hair, but 2 persons recommended me to give him a shot, and that’s the best cut I’ve had since I can remember. What can I say.... this place is absolutely beautiful inside. Its a brand new reno, nothing is not new. I am not a guy who goes to barbers to get a haircut usually. I cant believe the hair cut u got for the price. It was an hour long haircut for $30. It is single handedly the best haircut i have ever gotten. I am so happy with my new cut. The staff was amazing and so knowledgeable. I dont even right reviews but I was so blown away by the service and the perfection of my haircut I literally am writing this after just getting home from my cut. You have to atleast try this place. I dont care if you think the barber that cuts your hair is the best, I can garuntee if you try this place you will leave your old barber. Oh and they won an award in the Hamilton Spectator as well!! Thanks guys you rock!!

This Barber Shop is by far the best Place in Hamilton, Ontario... Rowaid & his Staff always go Above & Beyond to put a Smile on all customers faces!!!! You can go in as an Ugly Person, and before you leaveThey Make You Look Handsome .. All in all we have been going here for over 2 years and now have all the cousins and friends from in town and out of town getting their haircuts by the best barbers around... They have a great Roll Model and teacher (ROWAID) that always gives attention to detail whether you are 2 years old or 80 years old. You want the best Fade or Cut in Town Then Go to The Best Barbers in Town, KING KUTZ on King St in Hamilton!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was the first day barber shops were allowed to be open for business. Unfortunately my barber shut down due to the pandemic, but I called these guys and they booked me in right away I got my cut done by sully who was very professional and made me feel welcome as did the rest of the staff. Place was very clean and professional. Sully did a great job on my hair I highly recommend this place will definitely be going back thanks again guys!!

Checked this place from out of town last week and the fade, beard trim and line up were on point. Vybe was awesome and would def recommend and check this place out for sure. Great customer service and awesome experience here

I got my hair cut from this place first time ever as I usually go to FrontLines. These guys are absolutely amazing! Got my haircut so well. Never had a good fade like that, reminds me of Toronto Barbers. Really professional and the place is chill. Try em out!

I have been going to Ruohullah (krazy cuts) for over a year now and he always gives the best looking fades. Any style of hair or fade you want he can do it all. great barber, great person definitely would recommend!!

Great place to get your cut. Staff is very friendly welcoming and social. Price is really fair. I work in a sales business environment. We are tv to some people, looking good with a fresh cut matters. Half my co workers and many of my clients already go to this spot. Barbers are all professional. If u want to feel like a king after your hair cut. Head to King Cutz. You wont regret it.
