I've had my hair cut twice here before, the haircuts are mediocre. Cash is the only available payment option but they keep an ATM in shop. I went in for a haircut last yesterday around 1:45 in the afternoon. Upon walking in, a person working at the desk gave me a cold look and said "we're full and you're not special", I asked if I should come back at a certain time and after the desk employee didn't answer, eventually a barber answered "come back around 3" Imagine going into a business as a customer to make an appointment and be treated rudely for trying to use their services. I would encourage everyone to avoid this business, unless, of course, you are 'special' and are able to get an appointment without being treated like garbage for entering their establishment. Suffice to say, They won't be cutting my hair again.

Roy is hands down the best barber in Hamilton, probably in the GTA. He has been cutting hair for 25 years and is truly a pro. If you want a barber who cares about each and every cut, and who leaves you feeling great after your cut, then go to first barbershop.

Great barber. Definitely pros. brother and i use to own a vape shop and then a craft store at this location and its awesome to go sit in here for a beard trim. Love that they kept my barn board wall that I put up.

First time there I received a great haircut. “Bedside manner” wasn’t the greatest but no real complaints. Today I call and make an appointment and I’m told to come in at 6:30. I get there at 6:25 and he tells me he is closing soon and doesn’t have time. There is only 1 person there and he’s currently in the chair. If you want to go home early don’t set an appointment for 6:30 and make someone sit around all day counting on that appointment.
