I have been getting my hair cut here for years. The namesake works the early morning. Tony will cut your hair between 6am an 9am. It's a cross between an old school barbershop and a hipster hair salon, go early for tradition and later for modern. That being said, I have never gotten a bad cut from anyone there and they all know their way around a straight razer. Highly recommended.

An icon in the area, this is a good option for men. Tony's has been in business for decades because of his service to his patrons. He is the quintessential "old time barber" who is friendly and engaging to all that walk through his doors. You cannot miss his brightly painted shop on the old Bedford Highway.

John and the boys are great at what they do, one would say a skilled group of craftsmen. After a weeks of looking at my masculinity that hung so well before me that took over nine months of prep. This guy needed a skilled hand or all would be lost by a diy follow the gentleman on YouTube and you can be Norse God too mindset. I read the reviews and thought they were outstanding and set a walk in for my myself to see what these guy were about. Then service and experience was beyond expectations. He washed my hair, scalp massage, beard scaped, full hair cut from long to short. Used a straight razor to finish up my neck. The the whole nine yards, TRUE BARBER that gives the full experience. So we go to the register.......... 25$ The last time I got a hair cut under 30$ I can't remember then you top it off with a shampoo and a beard trim. Check it out, great place, great people, amazing skills, prices are bang on even if they charged a little more, I'm a customer for life. Top it off they treated my little girl like gold, she's 8 and they had her watching cartoons, eating a sucker and answered all her questions. I wish more shops and store around Halifax were like this. It's a one of those old fashion hospitality that's been phased out over the years. See you in four weeks!

Very friendly place with good service. The people are kind and chatty. Prices are reasonable and within market rate. The place is clean and hygienic. There is a small discount for senior citizens. They have three seats so you would need to wait long before getting serviced. Recommended place for a haircut and shave.

Only been there once, but I plan to go back. Comfy, cozy place with good staff, a good cut, and I'm a sucker for a hot neck shave. Only con to this place so far is lack of parking and trying to get out of the parking lot onto the Bedford highway.
