Come here for an excellent haircut with the price so right you can leave a proper tip. Sometimes there is a wait because good things are worth waiting for, and all of us in the comfortable waiting room know this. The barbers here take the time to trim your hair exactly to your liking. The friendly proprietor welcomes a phone call where he will let you know if the shop is busy or not. This is Dartmouth's best stop for barbershop!

Last week I visited Irishtown Barber Shop on the first day it reopened after the loosening of public health restrictions. My experience was positive and I am very pleased with the haircut. The friendliness of the owner really stood out to me considering I showed up at the end of probably one of the craziest days of the year (first day of reopening; a huge number of people looking for haircuts that day; an afternoon power outage in Dartmouth; a hot day). It is a charming barber shop and the price was lower than I had expected. Irishtown is definitely where I'll be going for my next haircut!

I was impressed by the meticulous attention to detail by the barber on staff that day, Mr. Leonard Rafuse.
