Reviews were good and it’s close by- Asked for a business style slick but got something far from. Seemed like a nice enough spot and guy but I think he’s better suited to older folk without thick straight hair. Posted some pics on the photo page to show how inconsistent the cuts were. I wanted to style my hair but now I can’t. Darren did let me come back in which was great but there was a guilty vibe to it... He didn’t apologize or seem to care. He touched it up, but not before he called me picky lol That was the cherry on top for me not to be going back

Just stopped in on my way home from work as a walk-in, and got the best haircut I've had since moving to Nova Scotia in 2011. Nothing against the great shops I've been to downtown and in Dartmouth, but I can't recommend Doc's more highly. I'm so happy to have found a barber in this neck of the woods... I'll be going there for my haircuts from now on.

Finally, a proper barbershop in Upper Tantallon. This is a great place to get a haircut. Friendly service, great sized space, a TV to watch while waiting, and reasonable prices. I don't know why Tantallon didn't have one have before, but now it has a great one.

Found this Barber Shop through a Google search and I am incredibly thrilled I did. I got an excellent hair cut, eye brow, mustache, and beard trim, all for under $30 A totally unexpected bonus was Doc, the barber, was a veteran and a Gunner. We really are Everywhere. Ubique!

Excellent barber. Always happy with the cut. I also bring my son. He has been getting his hair cut here since he was 1.5 years old. Great spot for kids too. Darren has a kids apron with decals and is great the kids. Super affordable price. And hot shaving cream at end with straight razor to do hair line.
