I really enjoyed my first cut with Marco, he took his time and was very thorough. Maybe he sensed my nerves as it was my first time at a barber shop in years, having had longer hair previously. Aside from the excellent service, he’s got a really cool Italian/Canadian vibe in the shop, great music and cool customers. I’m heading back for my second cut today. You should check it out too!

I've gone to see Marco twice now and after my first appointment knew it would be my new barbershop. Marco and his father are both very funny and friendly. They make sure you are comfortable and leave with your hair just the way you like it. The shop is always clean and aesthetically pleasing. You won't find a cheaper cut around ($20, cash only) but the quality of the cut is the best I've seen in Halifax. They take their time so no rush jobs. They're the poster children for a local family-run small business. They love when people stop by to say hi and keep treats on hand for dogs who visit. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new barbershop.

Love Marco. I found him after my previous barber passed away. I was on a search for a good two weeks, everyone seemed to be taking appointments only (this is pre-COVID19). What happened to the good ol' walk-in service? Then I stumbled upon this quaint barber shop on Oxford street. Marco is very meticulous and comes with his free jokes! Finding a good barber is just as hard as finding yourself a family doctor. Thanks Marco!

These guys… These are the guys. I’ve gone here twice: The only haircut I’ve gotten for $20 that I would happily pay double for. The nicest guys, easiest conversation, they make you feel comfortable. Highly recommend!
