Pretty good spot to get a cut but sometimes there is a long wait. Some of the girls are better than the others so I've narrowed it down to two people to go to. One of the times I was recently in there, a few of the girls and the guy Joe were talking about and cutting up one of the others girls that works there....the shorter dark haired lady that works in the corner closest to the bathroom. They were slamming her hard and there was myself and other customers there. Very unprofessional. Then, the dark haired lady walked in for work and they all said hi and began chatting her up like they were best friends. I felt like telling her then....but this will do. Update. March 29th. So the girl I was talking about left....and they wouldn't say where. So if anyone knows please post. Anyways...needed a cut so took a chance and the blonde did it. Wow she can't cut hair! Seemed like she was in a rush. And I asked for a trim and she basically buzzed me. And it's totally uneven...plus she smells like an ashtray. Hate to say it but I won't be going back there anytime soon.

I've been going there for 10 years and today is the last time I ever EVER go. Waited 40 minutes and then come to find out my wife can't get her hair done because its a barber shop. My wife got her hair done 3 times before at bernies. I am extremely disappointed. You want to make money, hire hair dressers that are not snooty and do women's hair.

I’ve been going to the current owner of Bernies Barber Shop ever since I was a little boy. I wouldn’t trust another shop with my hair, quick professional haircuts, never a long wait and always polite. Never had a bad experience here, nor have I known anyone who ever has. Would highly recommend paying a visit.

Tried this place today for a beard trim. I usually go somewhere else but thought I'd try this place. They charge $8 for a beard trim so I guess I cant expect much but they literally only use clippers to trim and do a awful job. Pretty sure a beard trim means at the least make it even all over and cleaning my lines they just use the trimmer. I was in there for 5 mins. The place I usually go to cost anywhere from $15-$20. You look amazing coming out. They hot towel your face, use the straight razor to clean your lines and use products on your skin and you feel like a million bucks walking out. They take their time and it usually takes about 25 minutes. I could have gone home and trimmed my beard better than this place did it. I'd say stay away from this spot!

The barber was more interested in talking to other clients who were clearly her friends then cutting my hair. She stopped serveral times to talk to them and was not paying attention to what she was doing . Had to go to another barber shop to fix what she did . Very unprofessional. Will not be going back .Its to bad because the other barbers are great

I have been getting my haircuts at Bernie's for over 10 years. Even before I started getting the senior's discount. On Monday and Tuesday seniors get a basic haircut for $10 + tip. The barbers are all beautiful young ladies who treat me like an old friend. They always seem to remember how I like my hair styled and make me feel like a "Most Welcomed Customer". My regular barber is Jacklyn or Jackie as she seems to prefer. I will never patronize another barber as long as Bernie's remains in business.
