Walked in with no appointment, got served quickly. Good atmosphere, nice friendly people. I got exactly what I asked for regarding the actual haircut. Meticulous and skilled is how I would describe the staff. I would recommend to anyone. Thanks Marvin and thanks April.

Made an appointment, took time off work to make it in time for appointment because I live two hours away. Drove said two hours just to be told the barber I booked with wasnt in and that we should just come back the following day cause everyone else was busy and another guy was just on his way out the door. Extremely unorganized. Dont understand the point of booking in if no one is actually going to be there to do the haircut.

I really enjoy this place... I enjoy the people I enjoy the atmosphere and they're very good at what they do and the prices are very fair for the service they offer. But lately I've been going and noticing the very annoying aspects of this business. I understand they are very laid back and I enjoy that but they're almost too laid back. Their hours seem to never match what is actually state on Google and on their sign so you basically either call in or guess when they're open. I'm told this place is a first come first serve but yet when I went in the other day I sat there for OVER an hour and watched barbers greet friends who walked in and said "hey I'll get you next bro". If you want to skip the line of customers waiting just be one of the barbers friends I guess. Then just to add the special cherry on top the guy cutting my hair just kept up and leaving during my haircut and messing around with his ipod changing the music. My visit there could have been cut in half. Also their haircut prices went up to 26 dollars so if you tip as well that's 30+ dollars. I think I'm going go try elsewhere. I still like this place a lot but they have to change how they manage things.

Great people and even better haircuts, always on point and usually do more than expected! I asked for a cut with a hard part on the right side which I normally do but when I came here my barber informed me that it would look a lot better if I got it on the left side because of how my hair naturally grows. I thought it was weird that no one else ever mentioned this but I decided to take a risk and follow his advice. I have never been able to style my hair so well and without much effort, thank you Tre at the Sackville location for helping me look my best at my college graduation.

My wife went in for a haircut and dye, gave the stylist an explanation of what she wanted "a blunt cut". The stylist continual as cutting asked "you wanted asymmetrical?", "you wanted a bob?", clearly was out of it or not listening. After she was done the results were uneven and unskilled, my wife realized the smell coming off the stylist was weed. I can't speak for all the stylists, but this one was working while high. I asked for a refund the manager was professional and said "okay I will send you the money". Never did send the money, even after repeated interactions. You can find many more professional and respectable shop in the HRM. Or at least avoid this Ascension location.

Unorganized business. I left without a haircut twice in a row. Called to make an appointment and they said "no need to make an appointment, just come in!". Only for me to get there and wait an hour. They don't take down your name or have any kind of a list of who was there first. Multiple people who got there after me ended up getting cuts before i did. They did a good job the first time i went (only time i acctually got my hair cut there). If you aren't going to let people book an appointment then it needs to be first come first serve..
