Great cuts and excellent atmosphere. The owner Mathew is very friendly and kind, and provides excellent conversation during your haircut. Usually there are a couple other patrons there as well, enjoying a beverage while waiting for their haircut or just dropping in because it provides that traditional barbershop environment that goes beyond just haircuts. The shop is also doing some great collaborations with other downtown business such as Al's Sandwiches and the Guelph Film Festival. Highly recommend! Not enough stars here.

This is the barbershop. Matthew is an artfully precise barber. His personality and the vibe he's cultivated in the space are refreshingly interchangeable. I'm a bald fellow, and so for years I'd resided myself to cutting my own hair, often hastily, at home with clippers. I'd missed the feeling of someone else taking care of that. And that's what Matthew does, he takes care. Between his sense of humour, honesty, and storytelling, you'll leave his shop feeling better about life. Looking handsome is a welcome side effect. In other words, this place is magic.

Great place to get your hair cut in Guelph and buy beard/shaving supplies (oils, soaps, etc.). Matthew was easy to talk too and he did a great job on my hair. You can also easily book online so you don’t have to wait or hope he isn’t busy. And the best part is that he is licensed and has a good selection of beer and whiskey to drink while you get your haircut. I will definitely be returning.
